In today's update, it clearly says you can get 80% off the new pack that is at the Store. The Pack's price is $29.99. It says "see store for details". Inside the store, there are no details how to get the advertised 80% off, only the original price of $29.99. Am I blind or just going crazy? How the heck do I get 80% off this pack? I have purchased numerous items in the past, and would definitely like to take advantage of such a great sale.

Please help!!

I think what the 80% off means is how much they normally charge for all the items in that pack would probably be $200 something so by selling it for 29.99 that is 80% off

Wow. Just wow. I see what you're saying, and if that's true, that is so damn misleading and dishonest. False advertising at its finest.

the ingame store targets the so called the "whales". they prefer a few guys going crazy over a wider paying player base. i guess this makes sense, since the playerpool is limited and the passionfactor for iron maiden is extremly high. so you will find someone who will pay this ridiculous prices. i said it a while ago, i would rather donate NF some money instead of buying useless overpriced crap and i'm dead serious there. the only "reasonable" item is the 30 days ironite boost, i might buy one to support them, if they give us 50% of on this :p but actually no need for ironite anyway.

slauki,

Yeah, I totally agree that the prices are just simply stupid. The only time I bought anything was when I found a glitch that gave me 300 ironites for $1.99 three times instead of "once only". It allowed me to buy it three times in a row before it disappeared, so essentially I got 900 ironites for $5.97. Other than that, there is absolutely no way in hell I would ever pay any amount of money they are asking for, pretty much for any items at a regular price. However, I would think about it if the "80% off" statement was actually genuine, instead of being blatant false advertisement. I honestly can't believe that anyone would pay $29.99, no matter how much you're into Iron Maiden.

Yeah, that's the conundrum I'm in. I'd like to give NF some money because I've been playing this game for well over a year and the only money I've spent on it is the original starter pack. I'm a big believer in giving people money for making things I like. I love Bandcamp for that sort of thing for music. The problem is that, as you've pointed out, the business model for games like this is to make the money off of the whales. For players like you and I, I guess our "payment" is contributing to the overall game experience for everyone else and having to grind and grind and grind. Every time I think about spending money on something in the LotB store, this voice in my head says, "You could buy a t-shirt from the Iron Maiden website or buy some Trooper Beer instead."

i like this attitute a lot and i also donate to things i enjoy. but aside the starter pack for 5 bucks, they simply didn't gave me the opportunity to buy something usefull. so i bought some iron maiden cups from redbubble :).

i'm playing long enough so i have a ridiculous stockpile of almost everything ingame. so there is absolutely no reason to buy something, but i would do it nontheless, if the prices were reasonable...but even 10$ for a 30 days pack is kind of a ripoff imo...and don't let me start about the 80% sales BS they are trying to sell. i get their approach, and i really like that this game is really not pay to win. but that has it's price. so the "whales" have to pay for all of us, that's why the prices have to be that huge i think.

Also need to be mindful the iOS App Store takes 30% of in app purchases. I suspect the band takes 35-45% leaving NF 25-35%. The apps that have millions of downloads can be profitable with .99 sales, but there's 10s of thousands of apps vying for users

Can we just go to their office and buy them lunch? :)
