Score tanked on reset

On the reset my score shot down to 1500 what happened? I know it drops to 1900 but never seen it drop this low before.

Same here. From about 3200 pts right before reset to 1540 right after. I was expecting the usual 1900.

The whole thing is jacked. I looked at the rankings of my Troopers, and lots were in the 1500s even though they finished in top 100 last week.

But, it gets even weirder . . .

I lost my first defensive battle, but my points didn't change.

Then, I won my first offensive battle. The end of battle screen showed +12 but the resulting points were +12 added onto my last week points. Back on the attack list screen, my points show +1 for 1541.

Also, even the +12 was wrong as the player I beat was higher rank than me.

Total guess here, but given the inconsistency of who is affected, I wonder if it's related to the Starter Pack deals? I had some weird glitches when I logged in at reset and was given those Ironite rewards.

I personally think we should all reset to the same points each weekend. But unless they’ve sneaked that in with no notice, which would be super lame, hopefully it’ll be fixed asap.

Sometimes I have close to 2000pts.. then other times I have close to 4000 pts.... Sometimes ranked in the top 25... others ranked just over 200. Sometimes get 10IC for a win.. sometimes get 13IC... something's screwy.

My thought is maybe they put in some "relic owners start lower" feature.. but that can't be it.

yeah experienced the same in the meantime, looks random though. maybe some are shown as 1900+ but they haven't played till now so in reality they are 1500...but who knows...

I started after reset with about 1500 points, fought my way up to place 19 in 56 fights with only one loss because of a game error. My defense was holding at 53%. I had over 2000 points. From one fight to the next, I was pushed back to 79th place with only 1900 points. This sucks big time.

The points awarded are off. I won a battle with my opponent being 79 points higher and only received 12 points, that should have been 16 points. Yet I can win a battle where I have 10 more points than my opponent and receive 16 points. Looks like the RNG found the PVP scoring system.

Congrats on having your score reset to a more normal value. Mine is currently about 2400 but that is after a lot of grinding and no correction for the reset to 1500.

Exactly the same here. I’m still fighting my way up the ranks. I’m rank 32 now with 124 fights and 121 wins. One loss was a win that didn’t count. Other wins against a 200 points higher player gave me only 12 points. I’m at 2374 points at the moment. My defense is holding 32%.
Fix it soon and give me back my 500 lost points. 124 multiplied with only 12 points makes 1488 points plus 1900 from the start is 3388 minus the 50 losses from defense is 2788. Plus 23 defense wins. And so on.

Please correct me if I made a mistake in my calculation.

NF got my support ticket and auto-responded but no official update or fix posted yet. I will share what they say. On Saturday night I was #2 with Firebird #1 at about 30 minutes after reset, then dropped to 1500 after winning a fight, then next day after plating many hours to catch up it jumped back to #8 with a over 2300 score. They should give us iron coins for loss from their error, I was getting +10 all day instead of +12,13 and 15-E

I thought it was odd dropping to 1500 points after ending at Warlord II at reset. Its more frusting winning fights against people with 500+ more points and only receiving 12. :/

yeah i think the real score is somewhere in the system too...so we get 12 when we are actually way higher than the target...but who knows for sure....

Seems like you have to contact support, cause I got nothing back so far. But just had a match against a higher ranked player and earned 12 points, so it’s still bugged. Why can’t we just get all our points back without every single one of us contacting support? That would be much easier!

I mostly play for IC & have to say pulling 10coins on every fight is annoying.... Not playing much but I'd probably be somewhere in the 25-50 ranks instead of somewhere pass 300...
Hope it gets fixed soon & we'll get what we are supposed to have as for rewards or IC, motivation to play arena reached an historic low on my part...

No problem! I sensed a fellow Strike Forcer. Yeah it’s a bit more complex turn based style than LotB, the more traditional RPG style forged by World of Warcraft, tanks with taunts, healers, etc. Very role based and more focus on creative synergies.

And yeah I have many sides, sometimes the Feral comes out lol.

Here’s a tip for the Maiden community cause y’all helped train the beast, focus on this meta and get good (devil horns emoji).

I highly doubt it, since they're convinced it merely compressed the scores. Be patient and they'll continue to ignore it.

Thought about it and I have a theory about what happened with the arena reset. This is all speculation, but it makes sense to me at least.

I'm guessing that they have a server cluster rather than a single server. They added a new server, but it was not updated to the rankings before reset it was probably updated at reset. So, it saw all the scores sitting at 1900 instead of the standings from the previous week. When we started playing, it dropped us according to what it thought should be our points. Some people got point jumps because there account got properly reset by the servers with the right data. Points aren't counting right because of the difference between what one server thinks vs what the other one thinks. Apparently, they have no way to just copy the highest point totals to all servers. Hopefully, when the arena resets again it will at least start us at the proper point based on what our score is showing now. It doesn't fix the problem of current standings or points, and since there has been very little communication regarding the issue other than have patience I wouldn't hold my breath on any other fixes for it.

Askora, I'm seeing the same thing regarding points awarded for victories. They seem to bear no relationship to how my point total compares to that of my opponent. I often see +12s when I beat players much higher than me and would normally see +16s or more.

I think the score should reset every week. It's fair. There are top 10 players that don't spend ironite that can maintain while the majority of players prob in dualist 1 have a much harder grind to break into top 250.

I have to disagree on the score resetting every week. That is actually one of the only real perks of being near the top. It means I get to grind less, and less grinding is a plus. It's also a plus for lower tier players as they don't get stuck facing a list full of nightmare defenses. I can assure you that if breaking top 250 is tough for you, then some of the top defenses will mop the floor with you. Finally I'm willing to bet, that even after NF's server screwup and making players use their ironite to regain the points lost, that at reset most of the people who put forth an effort finished close to the same place as always.
