Immunity seems to clear Perfect Corruption

According to the wording: "Perfect Corruption blocks all beneficial effects and cannot be cleansed or transferred."

Yet I've seen Perfect Corruption removed 3 times now by the opponent using Immunity after the fact (or similar game mechanics that remove debuffs).

I saw my Pharaoh Eddie apply Invulnerablity to himself through Perfect Corruption the other day as well. It didn't remove it, it just didn't get blocked by it.
