Satellite 15 Upgrades

I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I'll throw it out there anyway.

I've been thinking about Satellite 15 lately, and even more so since finding a skill shard there yesterday.

What if we had the ability to upgrade the satellite, in order to attract more or higher valued items. For instance, maybe the current skill shard capture rate is 0.5%. But, say we could spend some Ironite or Gold to increase the satellite's capacity, so it could capture more items in the 4-hour period, in turn increasing the skill shard capture rate. Or, we could upgrade its range or detection system, so it could start capturing (albeit rarely) full rare, class, or even legendary souls.

I know Satellite 15 doesn't get a lot of love, but I certainly don't mind getting the free rewards for simply doing what I would already be doing. So, maybe we can brainstorm ways to make it even better.

I like the idea but that would also mean keeping a close eye on it or risk missing out on rare items!
Lol maybe we could place that on auto mode too!

Exactly!

Also, it may be even better to make the upgrades based on achievements, rather than on Ironite or Gold purchases. Maybe the first upgrade occurs after the first 100 collections, the second after 300 collections, etc. That would give even more incentive to not miss them.

What about giving lvl 100 a meaning? Make lvl 100 give rarer items in satelite 15
