Vortex Fill + Ultimate Sacrifice = ZERO legendary souls??

Abut 2 minutes ago I completed an Ultimate Sacrifice + Vortex fill at one time...

The Sacrifice (60k+ essence) yielded 60 Rare G/A souls.. that's all. Nothing else.

The Vortex fill yielded 7 Skill shards and 25 Alchemist Fragments.

Where are Legendary souls?????

I did the same thing last night: Tier 7 + Vortex.

The Tier 7 gave me 15 skill shards and 20 Rare GAs.

The Vortex gave me 4 skill shards, 5 Rare GAs, and 1 Legendary (ACotD).

Well, out of those 60 Rare G/As I pulled just 3 5 stars (Aces Ed and 2x ACotD) then a couple 4 stars, Tailgunner being the only memorable one.. then 50+ 3 stars. I mean WTF???

I got more helpful souls out of a grand sacrifice and a vortex fill last week..

That's lucky considering the chances for a 5* in a rare G/A soul are 1.5% ...

60 rare = one or 0 5* for me ^^

The drop chances of 5* and 4* that have provided shows that you should be very glad you got that many good characters from 60 GA souls. Nothing to complain about really.

But what if I didn't want G/A?? and what about skill shards only 7 for a level 7 sac AND a vortex fill? That should have been double digits. I just hate hoarding to meet such a thing and getting mediocre rewards at best.

To me the Ultimate Sacrifice is one of the most disappointing "goals" of the game.

...that said, what we are looking at is making it so certain sacrifice tiers would give you more than one loot roll.

So my 60 Rare G/A souls for a 60k+ essence, tier 7 sacrifice and NOTHING else surely means they've looked and fixed things, right? :rolleyes:

I'm mostly disappointed that there were zero skill shards. I don't really need any characters. (other than the Beast). To pull that big of a sac with a vortex fill and pull in less than 10 skill shards is deplorable, let alone ZERO for the sacrifice. If it weren't for the vortex fill at the same time, I'd have gotten none -- for a tier 7 sac!

Really low rewards from the sac, Yup - sorry for that! But on the other hand good pulls from the souls... so its even ;)
I hope there will be a sac event once in a while with increased drops and/or additional rewards for the vortex (we had such an event long time ago with 5 Skill Shards per Vortex I think). I did not do many large sacrifices in the last months because of that (I think just 2 for the Clansman event and that's it).

Personally, I don’t see much reason to do ultimate sacrifices. Unless there is a special event reward, or you need to hit it for an achievement.

For 60k essence, I would bet 3 exalted sacrifices would have given better results. Plus you have a chance at rare souls dropping. If you don’t need the G/A souls, then why do ultimate?

I save mine for the events as well trooper. That’s the way to get the most out of sacrifice. I had a great month. I saved up 2 months worth of toons to sacrifice. Got PoM, Edward, and Clansman. Only missing Alexander now. The drops seem to come in batches for me. Also side note - I joined the 10k Arena club.

I think vortex rewards had been better in the past. But as we have that many fragment events and other things to collect fragments and/or characters nowadays, we can do more sacrifices than in the past. So this might compensate one another I guess.
