View Full Version : Runes Over Limit - But Cannot Sell

Has anyone seen this and solved it? I currently cannot play because of it. I sent a message to Support, but I'm wondering if anyone here has an answer.

I'm currently over my rune stack limit, so I cannot do quests. This happens occasionally, and I simply sell a stack or two to clear out some space. However, when I try to sell stacks now, I receive a server error message, and the game crashes before the transaction completes. I'm stuck in this loop and cannot play. Neither selling nor using runes is working.

My game also crashed now when I tried to sell a talisman directly from the reward window from Skull Quest "Cache"! But when I sold a rune from the My Team Screen, it worked... strange, druid! But still I guess this is related!

... plus a MACL9 when I finished the next SQ in the list...app needed next restart! Oh oh not good!

There appears to be a general inventory problem that has suddenly manifested in within the last few hours (sounds like from around the time of druid128's post). We're putting the game in maintenance while we diagnose and solve the issue.

For our Android players, a new store update will be available as soon as we have done our testing and submission to the Google Play store. iOS will be available once it’s gone through their review process. We will be asking for an fast turnaround, but we don’t have an ETA at present.

actually it's the best example for the state of the game at the moment. even if someone would have written down a dramatic scenario like this, the reality would have been better by far. tourday starts in 5 minutes and the game is down for hours now :D

sorry guys, this is just awesome, this even makes up for the immortal fuckup last week.

Looks like I'll be missing out on the 2 x remaining quests for the day, it will reset before I can finish them off oh well, I was only missing out on some low end talisman anyway and a little gold...

Android updates got through and propagated faster than expected. We've just recently released maintenence for that platform, but you must download the update from your app store to play.

We are still waiting for approval for iOS, and once approved, we'll still have to wait for propagation to stores around the world before maintenance can be lifted for that platform.

Also druid138, let us know if your selling of stuff has gone through. Based on internal investigation, actions you took that were valid (ie, the server agreed you had the things to sell when you tried to sell them) should have gone through and have been compensated accordingly for whatever those actions were (such as getting Gold for stuff sold).

Thanks, Sparton. Unfortunately, it seems the problem has not been solved for me. My inventory looks the way it did before I attempted the selling this morning. And, current attempts at selling are giving me the same error as before.

[I am running the updated version of the game.]

Update: If I sell one rune at a time, it works. So I'm able to play. But, one at a time is not usually needed.

APPLE PLAYERS: We have JUST been approved on Apple, and the update is beginning to propagate across the App Store. Please note that it may take a few hours for this update to show up in your store. You will need to download this update in order to play!

Maintenance mode will remain active on your device until you are able to download this new update. Once the update is downloaded from the App Store, you will be able to load up and play the game normally!

Shit as always, after this downgrade LotBUGS forgets upgraded Talismans and complete Talisman-setup, BNW is crashing all the time.

This shows again, what noobs are programming this game.

Go to school and learn some stuff!!!

Lost countless SOT because of all this stupid bugs.

Good Morning from Sydney Sparton/Developers, I have had repeated 'app closed' errors since the update yesterday.
I can play the game for a while but it will randomly just stop, the game disappears back to my home screen with a white window asking if you want to send feedback or just close the app.
It happened at least twice in the exact same spot I was playing G.O.D my team just appeared to start part 4/5 level 10.
Both times it closed the app.
I have completed the event several days ago and was just farming for talisman using Pharoah Eddie, Asassin/Sentinel Lilith, Sentinel Mayan Priestess.
Formally I have experienced little to no errors recently and never has this scenario happened before the update.
I hope something can be done cheers rags

Same problem as rags-6094. While playing the game quits occasionally on android. Message comes up starting the app has stopped running.

Getting the same. Happened during Skull Quests and Lord of Light, and once in the menus, so it seems to be everywhere in the game.

FWIW: Even if I've been in the middle of a round, I haven't lost a trooper out of it yet, and when I go back into the game it remembers my previous setup (which i changed going into the levels), plus the game speed (1x, 2x, 3x) which usually resets if there's a crash.

Update: Reset my device (reboot) and since then not had a crash. Not sure if it's related or not but since that time, it's been fine.

Admittedly the game is on autoplay at the moment and I haven't interacted with menus or anything much yet.

Again I can’t sell talisman or anything else from my inventory. Game crashes and changes are not saved. Wasn’t that the issue you just did a hotfix for over 24 hours??? Great job NF! Have never seen something that incompetent!

GotN: Does this happen with any talisman sale (eg: even a single talisman)?

I had it happen (admittedly Android) and found that if I sold one talisman by itself it would work. I then went up to selling ones of each type, then ones of each colour.

After doing 2 colours, I found I could sell the remainder of my excess talismans without worrying about it.
