Just how rare is the 10,000 club so I can put it perspective? Have many people have achieved this lofty goal? Or better question of those left playing still how many have achieved this?

"I had 947 battles with 916 wins (97%).", so that we know what we are talking about here (@rags)! I really cannot imagine to do that many battles in one week. I need more than 5 weeks for that :)
If we assume 2 minutes per match (I guess it was faster early in the week, but in the end only fighting the top 25 will increase the average time including loading time, team switching etc.), this are 1894 minutes or 31.6 hours!! Devide per 7 days of the week you end up playing 4.5 hours PVP per day! I know its only an estimate but still... wow!
Everyone can also etimate the ironite demand for that... (roughly 35 free SOW per day = 245 per week. 947-245 = 702)
So again, congrats for this dedication and concentrated play, I could not do that. But I guess you are also a bit tired now, or?

It is really difficult staying focused. I went in with the wrong team on numerous occasions, just rushing to hit the next battle. That cost me some wins for sure.

Well it looks like I needed enough refills for around 700 battles. 70 refills x 30 ironite = 2100 ironite.

It is expensive. Believe it or not, I only made a couple of ironite purchases since I've been playing. I tend to really budget the ironite, and I rarely buy souls with ironite.

If there's was one single thing the rest of us can do to be competitive with the top 50 top 10 etc what would you suggest?
Just keep grinding? Purchase particular items/souls? Relics?
