Someone else had posted this same issue but in addtion the the skull/quest bug, I now have no attack list. I hit free refresh and and the list showed only one person. I defeated that single player and was awarded 2 SoW but my total did not change.

Then there was nothing on the list. Refreshed again and no list at all. In addition every single time I refreshed yesterday there were no opponents that were higher rank than me to fight. This happened three times. Once I cleared the list and got a new list but no one was higher than me. Then two of the times I have nothing on the list. I have cleared out my revenge list and now have no one to fight.

All of these bugs have only started when I logged out of the game completely. It was the first time I had logged out completely in months. Now I have tons of bugs.

i played since this morning with 10 pvp battles, after did them all only 5, after 2 or 1 and 0, and must refresh to have 10 more ^^

What ranks are you, guys? I am swinging between 40 and 80 and never had a problem with the lists.
Actually I like the little changes in the PVP point-meta, but missing lists cannot be an intended thing...

I ran into a list of 4 on a few occasions. The issue now is I’m not getting anyone ranked higher than me on the list. Most are well below me. I’m ranked around 50. The last update is a complete mess overall. Anything can happen in the arena. Doesn’t matter if you or have buffs or not. It’s all f’d up!

PvP isn't freeing here and my lists are full.. but matches are just a jitter-fest. Some of the animations are causing serious delays. Gunner Lilith is one of them.. nearly impossible to land attached decently due to stutters.

Stutters here like crazy as well ... bizzarly less on my very old phone (Android 6) and more on the new but faster one (Android 8.1). So I switched to a weak defense - get my ass kicked and can at least autoplay PvP against weaker teams.

Yea still acting very bad. Just cleared my list and received 2 SoW and 0 players on the new list. Hit refresh and got 0 players on the new list. Revenge list cleared out as well and still nothing. All players very low some even single 4* Eddies. This would also explain why my defense wins are 18/26. Some lower ranked players are now facing very high ranked players with no way to compete. This is happening on my son's account too as he is ranked Acolyte II and is facing people who are Warlord I and higher. No real chance to win when he has 3 3* and 1 4* ally vs 4 5* 100 level characters.

For winning against the 3 I got 2 SoW rewarded and an empty list. Refresh gave a full list with 10 players... very strange! Really disappointing because apart from the list problem, the new point-meta might have its benefits.

Exited from Arena to the main menu. The Arena icon was greyed out. Hit it and got a message saying "This feature will be unlocked in a future update."

Left it 30 secs then hitting it again and it worked.

They aren't getting any of my Ironite on refreshes. I only use the free one. I suspect most others are doing the same which would explain why the top players are barely at 3700 points.

Nope... I'm about 50 short.. but in 3 days, that's plenty of time for 50 fights, even if they are buggy frustrating fights. :) I have Beast Ed and see little point in refilling SOW to meet these achievements early before the souls are gone.

(....and really the "increased chance" is not that "increased". You have generally teh same odds as pulling him from Rare G/A souls since those souls are more prolific in the "game".... I got 2 PoM Eds during his event from a vortex fill during the event. )

Not only is it continueing to give me only players ranked way higher than me through the course of the day but now my arena fights aren't registering on the daily challenges, the arena knows I've won two fights the event challenge registers them ok but not the daily challenges..

Then about an hour ago an odd "no internet" message in game while farming NotB on auto-play (my internet was fine). Had to reboot the game to clear that up.

ANNNNDDDD its back. Last night I thought it was a fluke because I was 9 and most people are lower rank but this morning cleared attack list and received 10 new people (all lower rank) and was awarded 2 SoW but they did not reflect in the total though I was able to fight two more times before I refilled. Just cleared my list again of all lower people and now only have 4 people on the list, highest rank 3171(Single FoTD Eddie level 100 as the defense too) compared to my 4962....

I have three sets, and because I’m a fiend for iron coins, I’ve got ‘em on my defense team - but really, what’s the point? All I’m doing is forcing other players to either skip me, or plan on a five to ten minute fight. I think I’ll remove them strictly out of principle... (I’m not THAT proud though, and will likely put them back on once I see my defense numbers plummet.)

Here it is, Saturday morning, and we are all STILL dealing with this horse shit.

I’ve spent several hundred ironite refreshing my lists over the week, most of which resulted in a blank refreshed list. I’ve had two responses to my reports, both of which smelled like copy/paste auto responses that essentially said, “We’re aware of the problem, and are fixing it,” and “Is it happening every time?” I have asked three times now about reimbursement for the wasted ironite, but amazingly, the auto-copy/paste reply fails to acknowledge that particular question.

I really am left to sit here and scratch my head... Who seriously runs a business like this? Furthermore, who are the buffoons that actually pay for this kind of shoddy product?

So I have not had this particular problem as most people are experiencing in this thread, rather when I log into the game the first thing I notice is the "ARENA" tab is greyed out, if I push on it I get a message saying that the arena will be released in a future version of the game.
Last night a sands of time refill was under specials, the class rare souls you can purchase with trooper badges was moved to a different position.
Right now all apppears Normal however is it possible the problem has been taken care of?

Normally, I have 20+ attacks on a Saturday when I wake up. Diabolos on fifth place didn’t move away from me the whole evening. My guess is that he couldn’t attack somebody. And seventh place didn’t attack me either.
There has to be an excuse from the devs and not just 300 free ironite.
The band is playing a great tour at the moment to promote this fucked up game. The stage looks fantastic and Bruce is in top form, but this game doesn’t do them proud.

Not even a shred of offense felt Rags. I know you show respect on every post you make.I know it seems whiney considering our ranks but like you said it would still stink at any rank. Just sad that the most enjoyment I get in this game, competing against my fellow forum players is denied by bugs. Without repeating what is posted in so many other posts about content, the arena is really the only reason some of us play and not being able to do that means there is no reason to play.

Pepp - Yea I was super surprised to have not been attacked the whole day but I guess no one could.

Now on reset I am getting full lists but they are still so far below ranks its barely a challenge. Some of the opponents where not even full level 100’s which is is hardly fair to them.

ie: If you're well down the rank and constantly being pitted against the top 10-20 ranked people, and you've not got teams that are absolutely top notch (ie: exactly the right skillsets, relics, sharded completely, perfect talisman sets) then the chances of beating them can be extremely low. Now imagine that you refresh your opponents list, and those same teams (or similarly ranked ones) are there.

Same goes in reverse. If they're well below you, you'll probably stomp them flat without blinking, pushing your points (and rank) higher.

The points can be a bit bogus if the person who has lower points decides not to put much into the arena this week (esp if they leave a good defence set up), but when there's significant difference, it is likely to be very hard on the lower team and easier on the higher one.

I noticed a similar issue ... didn't spend too much thought in it - the amount of bugs in this client is insane - that's got to be the world record.

no points awarded because still at 1900...

You know nothing, Rags. 😜 We’re NOT complaining about our ranks. We’re complaining about the broken arena that’s impossible to play for over a week now. This was the second weekend and all the devs give us are the same lame standard excuses. 😡

Don‘t waste your ironite on refreshing the list. It’s a bug that everybody is facing. The attack list is empty and if you manage to find someone there, he is ranked way below yourself. In addition you will only get attacked by very few, again ranked way below yourself.

They don’t, I was just whining about losing to teams that I should stomp (mostly due to the fact that I can’t figure out how to beat those effing primordial teams yet - many of you have seen 5x defense holds against me... it’s really starting to frost my anus.) Initally I thought I was losing points, but losses don’t seem to be deducting points, so my whining was moot. Normally if I lose to someone higher than me, I lose like 12 points or so, but losing to someone well below me costs far more points. See what I’m saying?

Again, I was just bitching out loud. I’m not much for strategy, and can’t figure out how you guys have such insane win% and hold %. The highest I’ve ever had is 88% win, on my one eternal run, and a measly 18% hold rate. What’s juts is I essentially have every character maxed, and can’t figure out a decent combo/strategy. Oh well.

I am running off an android S8+, irrespective of game mode I.e PVP or cosmos etc... the game pauses and just hangs, this problem is directly related to troopers, every time one of my troopers uses my character, the game stops and I have to force a reset/restart of the game.
This is not the first the time this had happened I had a similar problem 12 to 18 months ago.

Hey Devs, I think the least thing you could do is to comment on this issue. PVP is now almost dead for myself and probably many other players for more than a week. I think it is pretty obvious that all of the top players are only looking for new chars or talis to compete in PVP. I would be really surprised if anyone would do it for beating Powerslave in 13 instead of 15 seconds.
So without PVP there is actually no real reason for me to play this game. Is it going to end like that?

Almost makes you wonder if the NF solution to the Primordial Rampage is to basically leave the Arena list broken so that no one can use them. Now those who have them haven't been nerfed per se. They can still use them as much as they like....just only in PVE.

Also I am getting 6 opponents per clear right now. It has remained constant though and I have not hit my revenge list today.

@Devs: if there is anything we can do, like to provide specific information about this bug, just ask us - I am pretty sure that many players would like to help if this is speeding up the bugfix-progress.

They know about the problems but just don't care about the fix , just because they have to submit it to Apple and Google. It is like they are charged or something to submit a fix. If there's no fix today it is going to be a terrible arena event that is supposed to start tomorrow.

They did some small changes to the point-system. I think this was a good idea in general, but I guess they did not know that this would lead to the empty-list-problem. So I assume they know about the problem but maybe not about the solution yet? Some data is needed to understand what is happening there and how to fix it (without just going back to the old point metric). If the PVP event will really start after this week's reset there will be some problems for sure. So maybe it gets delayed. Or they switch back to the old metric (in the hope that the problem is solved by that), or reduce the needed wins from 300 to 200? We will see...

I've been getting 1 opponent every 2 hours since this time yesterday, about every 4th refresh. I'm pretty sure an Arena event will start tomorrow night, just hope they adjust the wins needed down to about 200, 400 should be the stretch goal in this state... At least it's probably only going to be for Heroic Souls anyway

That's so strange to me I still have not been high enough to see that happen, my problem is each time I work my way into the top 250 I leave the arena - come back 10 minutes later and I'm back down in the 1100's but still gotta face top 100 teams to work my way back up again.

This is what I wrote almost three weeks ago and still no solution. It’s funny that more and more people are having this problem. The bug first appeared at the weekend of 08.06.18. It’s the third weekend now!

Chaosegoo, I see that you lost your first place for the same reason. That’s not a competition, but pure luck if you get a list or not.

PvP is broken again. Fix worked for a while, but the list problem is back. After getting a list of 1, it’s now a list of 0. Come on devs.

Sorry in advance for attacking the teams my defense held against. I generally don’t do that, but in this case I have no other teams to face, and the battle at the top is a tight race.

PS: was wondering why Pepp and Chaos were dropping back. Now I know. :mad:

After patch, cannot get new attack list but still getting attacked and can’t revenge because used up all 20 revenges already. Dropping ranks like crazy and defense point losses now working. So basically you can only lose points and gain none until reset tomorrow?

Same here again. A few full lists and now nothing again. The start of an arena event before fixing this would really be a punch in the face.

This is what I wrote almost three weeks ago and still no solution. It’s funny that more and more people are having this problem. The bug first appeared at the weekend of 08.06.18. It’s the third weekend now!

I'm not going to revenge holds to get cheap points... I'll get there honestly or not at all. I just wish I could play a little bit to see what these morons have done with these damn primordial talismans at this point...

I think instead of nerfing the talis they have buffed them. Now there are much less yellow buffs they can provide. The result is that Gunner Lilith will almost every time get 100% Critical Strike. With that she takes down entire teans with one blow.

Correct! I really liked that the talis give ghost to my enemies that overrides perfect immortality. Shraud was annoying (and broken I guess, as counter attacks did not do any damage), but still somewhat ok. It is a bit leveled, as ascension is also removed. Double ascension plus 100% crit was really pointless.

Ouch! I hear ya man. I revenged a couple of people and didn’t feel right about it and stopped. Lol

I will say after revenging, I refreshed and my list came back. After clearing those 10 I got 0 again. You guys can maybe try that too.

I had no plans to run for eternal this week, but after playing all my bonus SoW from sacrifice, I was right up there. I wish you would have put that out of reach so I wouldn’t feel compelled to go for it.

The game is at an all time worse right now!

I don’t know about you, but this week 95+% of the time my list consisted of teams way below me. Nearly every battle was a 12 point battle from the beginning. With the state the game is in this week, revenging holds isn’t any different than getting “easy points” from the f’d list match making. They are all over matched “easy points”.

This is a new one.
Fighting against Alexander. I have 2 characters left and he is alone. I killed the rest of his team in the previous turn. He has no buffs showing and started the turn alone.
My GLillith goes first and uses her base attack and both of my toons end up with debuffs on them and GLilith dies to the debuff.
The opposing Alexander is alone and has Echo/Shell talismans according to the icons at the top of the screen so nothing should have come back on me from my own attack.
How the heck did I get debuffs and killed? My GCoTD still hadn't even gone yet.
I ended up losing the match instead of the win I thought I was headed towards.
I'm going to voluntarily go mow the lawn just to step away from this mess.

Clawed back up to #6 and competitors gone, empty arena again now. Tried your trick and wasted 10 ironite, again. Hope they figure out this bug before arena event. I had way more fun before with lower score and no empty list. If this is only for top level competitors or is everyone getting empty lists in PVP?

Sadly the best players, the real top level players from LotB are gone. (no offense intended, saying this cause the game/arena is no where near challenging like it once was).

There is no more thing like top level pvp.

This can be a good and a bad thing. It all depends on how you play the game.

The errors have been very very few for me today. But during the afternoon where I played a lot of matches I had only opponents very far below me in rankings so I almost had 75% single Eddie opponents. Then I played around 21:00 CET and I only had opponents with almost 1000 score more than me and all of them in top 20.

This seems wrong to me.

Arena is not empty now that I am staying below top 10. Still so much AMPA AMPA and reloading game after a freeze during battle. Nothings perfect and I dont care, still going to continue because what else would I be doing at work anyway?

Yep - has been stated by many players in a couple threads now, but not a word from the devs yet. Very annoying, since it keeps me from progressing in this event. Have been able to stick around just north of 50 lately, but got like zero chance against the real top guys I only get to see on my attack list for about two days now. Dropped 100 places already and still no change on my attack list.

- ban people
- fraud
- delete posts
- say "we are sorry"

But thats it, in programming they are totally useless.

If such bugs appear a so called "event" needs to be stopped.

Heads up we're aware of the Arena List issues and should have a fix shortly. It's a client fix so we'll need to submit to the stores prior rolling it out.
