What characters besides The trooper can remove doom and other grey buffs?

Beast Ed as well. "All negative buffs" including greys.

But it still means that the char will die... it is the same for ghost - if the counter of turns/actions reaches Zero, the char dies. I think having immunity up and then clearing ghost/doom, should avoid death.

It was a bug that characters died when you removed Doom from them. It was fixed in the last update.
Ghost is different. As long as you remove it before the effect has triggered, you are fine. Once it triggered, don’t remove it. It would kill the character immediately.

Oh cool, thanks for the info! Totally missed it until now.
For ghost are more solutions, thats a smaller problem than doom (was)

That's good info! Many thanks for the reply's, I had thought there was one non-Eddie toon that could do it too but I must be mistaken..

Astra's passive grants immunity to Doom for the team and will prevent Doom from being applied. But she won't remove it.

(Which is why taking Astra into GOD for the Dragon King is a good thing :) )
