SoundFX volume slider has no function

While the "Music" slider does what it's supposed to do, the sound effects slider has no function at all. Sound effects will be played at maximum volume no matter where the slider is.
The phone's volume slider can be used to change the overall phone volume, but there is no possibility to just decrease the FX volume.

Phone is Galaxy S7 with Android 8.

So... the sound is back... after reset today. Both sliders are set to zero, but sound blasting on my Galaxy S8+. Was the fix only good for ten days?! C'mon man!!
