The Doomsday Scenario - Increased Chance for Doomsday Eddie!

Get Napalm Souls from conquering the Brave New World for an increased chance of Doomsday Eddie!

Inspired by the 2 Minutes to Midnight song, Doomsday Eddie joins Legacy of the Beast as a 4★ Gunner. He does both physical and magical damage to enemies, with many skills that do more damage the more HP the enemy is missing! He can inflict a wide variety of devastating negative effects, including Time Bombs (which he can forcibly trigger before their duration is up)! Signal the end of a battle is coming with his 2 Minutes to Midnight fury, which removes all beneficial effects from enemies (including Golden Effects), and inflicts a Time Bomb for every negative effect an enemy has!

From now until July 28th, 5 PM PT, the Napalm Soul has become available! The Napalm Soul is a limited time event soul which guarantees a 3★ to 5★ character of any class, with an increased chance of getting Doomsday Eddie!

Napalm Souls can be earned in one of two ways:


There are Event Challenges that will earn you Napalm Soul Fragments. Getting 200 fragments will earn you an Napalm Soul, with up to 7 that can be earned from challenges over the course of the event. All of these challenges involve fighting in the Brave New World.
The store offers Napalm Souls for Ironite in the usual bundle sizes of 1, 3, or 10.


In addition to Napalm Soul Fragments, the event challenges also have other rewards:


Some of the challenges will reward large amounts of Sands of Time! Complete those challenges first to help offset the higher entry costs of the Brave New World dungeons!
Up to 30 Heroic Soul Fragments can be earned. Continue working towards a Heroic Soul reward character as the soul changes rewards bi-weekly!
Reach the highest Brave New World quests cleared challenge to earn a full set of debut Nightmare Talismans!


Nightmare Talismans are purple talismans with a 3 set effect that is not available anywhere else! Equip a full set to have a chance to inflict Perfect Sleep on Perfect Basic Attacks, which prevents sleeping enemies from taking a turn!

Don’t forget that this is the final week of Anniversary Weekly Bonuses! The last bonus is a 2x Chance for Talismans from Brave New World quests, so aim for the harder floors to get more of those talismans while you complete event challenges!

It appears that Accuracy Down is not registering for the event challenges. Angel of Pain and FotD inflicted it over 30 times in my first run of Dismay, but the counter shows 0.

"lower accuracy" also not working for Possessed Rockets in Level 6 Garden of Life. Others skills seem to be registering ok. Is there another passive called "accuracy down" for a specific character??? I would have assumed "lower accuracy" is the same thing.

Haven't tried level 10 yet. will give that a go when I'm feeling rich.

EDIT: when you hit the go botton it does indeed take you to Lord of the Light (not BNW as in the description) which fits Askora's post above. Must be a bug...surprise

I don't have Iron Eddie or Assassin Lilith so i'm running auto (and it's going nicely) following team:
Pharaoh Eddie ( just for keeping all others alive )
Assassin demon spawn ( Craving passive ), Warrior corrupt rescuer ( Burn passive ) , Magus trickster ( time bomb skill )

I ran the first 35 on GOL level 10 full auto, Iron Eddie, Sekhmet, W Lillith, G Lillith, achieved all goals except accuracy down, I only got a third of them done....
So now I'm farming Garden of fear Level 10 again on full auto with 7th son, Aset, M Lillith, and Blue Bat, I'm not even keeping watch on it, the phones in another room on charge.

Does anyone want a full set of zone talismans? What about Echo or Rage talismans? It wasn't that long ago I just could not get them to complete quests, now I have multiple sets of all of them, probably never use them again...
There should be a trade counter for us all to trade stuff we no longer need or for when we have multiple sets....

was expecting a new Eddie and an ironite drainer this time.
To Eddie: looks nice, some moves seem nice. Tried a few souls:
a 20-pack on one device: only a dupe 4* yellow valkyre, the rest were 3*,
but on my mobile i tried a 6-pack and got lucky and got him.
If he is good enough to replace my gotten beast eddie, i don't know.
The new talismans seem interesting, but haven't checked yet to get them. Probably skipping the BNW event.

(i forgot to thank the developers for their infinite vortex and high soul-reward bug at the beginning of the sacrifice event, which gave me A LOT of 5*'s including a monarch, a beast and the clansman eddie - plus countless rainmakers, aces highs and vampire hunters)

I think the description in the store is for the Eternal talismans, which are an as-yet-unreleased 6-set of Sentinel talismans. It's the same description as in the July Tuning announcement.

The Nightmare talismans should be a 3-set of Assassin talismans with a 35% chance to inflict Perfect Sleep, if the description in the July Tuning announcement remains true.

I farmed life level X at the beginning for 15 sands but too expensive and most of talismans are useless, after level IV for 10 sands
But i think i will finish with 8 sands for totally useless tallismans :)

I have not opened any souls yet, I wait until I have all from the event missions. But I opened a Lilith soul and finally got the last one missing, purple! Overall winner is sentinel with like 5 or 6 dupes, lol. The only one I do not use :)

Got a stack of good but useless for now zone and rage talismans, all double up sets.

Hi Jeff. Apologies for the delay in my response on this issue. This store entry was pulling the incorrect description. Our team corrected this earlier this morning.

The Nightmare talisman is only a 3-set talisman, and it provides the following effect: 35% Chance for Perfect Basic Attacks to inflict Perfect Sleep on targets for 1 turn. Perfect Sleep is a Silver Effect that puts targets to Sleep and cannot be cleansed by most skills.

- I finished the event
- I only received 3* dupes including with the heroic soul. Sacrifice everything to get almost nothing.

At least I get my vampire set talisman to do 1 mission. Great!!

Quite honestly they should run every new character the same as the Powerslave gods and the last The Beast event.. where you collect frags for each soul converted until eventually you can get the character. This random possibility is complete bullshit. Most other games would just offer the new character for 99¢-$9.99 or something.

Ran BNW GOF pretty much exclusively.. level 7.. picked up 5 Strike and 3 Echo.. then a bunch of lower level red talismans.. for 2X the drops for better talismans were pitiful, as they ALWAYS are in BNW. Really don't understand the mindset of depriving players stuff. I get the "carrot on a stick" theory.. but it's really ridiculous.

I only got one 4* toon WUR which I already have.
These events are just a piss take farming BNW lvl 9-10 which supposedly has a drop increase(hahahahahhahahaha) still waiting to get a full set of Comets,Rage and Zone.
I'm just so feed up with farming events and never getting the new toon, missed out on Beast,Clan,Doomsday,Aset and Sekhmet think I'm just about to rage quit this game coz' RNG on this game is F**KING KILLING IT....

I did my last vortex yesterday a few hours before the change over and pulled the expected gold and crimson stuff, to get it there I made a rather rare purchase for me of the class legendary souls pack, all 4* souls except the normal legendary soul which landed me with Clansman Ed so not a complete waste of my money...
Clansman must need the fewest skill shards of just about any Eddie.... I did not know that!
