Max Shard/Rune Auto Selected

Not sure exactly when this was changed, but it seriously annoys me having the shards/runes auto-selected and set to max when I go to upgrade a character or talisman.
It's very hard to tell which one is selected, and besides, I usually want to only do one level worth of shard/rune for the daily bonus.
At the least, I want some number less than max.

Horrible decision, put it back to none selected.

I also need to go for clear first to select the stack I want to use. But after that, it's ok to go for maximum I think. After you played a while, resources are not very limited anymore. If you are short in stuff, level up low star chars or runes for the daily bonus :) I think they won't change it back

Agreed. I hate this senseless change as well. Wish they would remove this.

I agree it is difficult to tell what is actually selected, but you can still tap what you want to select and slide left to 1 rather than sliding right to 1.

Sure you can slide it back just the same as you could slide it forward before the change.

How often do you want to max out a toon compared to how often you just want to raise their xp by 1 to fulfill the daily challenge? We do the daily challenges every day compared to maxing a worthwhile toon once in a while.

It’s easy to make the mistake of maxing a toon when you didn’t intend to now. It’s also more button presses to get it where you want now.

Well I use the max value every single time and have for quite some time. But admittedly I have pretty much all the toons already maxed so I've just burning unneeded resources for the most part and am not merely trying to do the bare minimum for daily achievements.

Same here, I need to waste resources to prevent inventory overflow. Sometimes I even need to sell xp shards due to that. I thought this would be a common problem for all of us long time players.

I just sell off the extra resources for gold.
