Heads up troopers. I will be heading to Progpower for the next several days. Will do my best to auto run troopers, but letting you know just in case I miss some.
Cheers! \m/

Enjoy the fest, I don't know why I always miss this, I'm only a couple hours away... Who are you looking forward to this year?

Thanks all! If the update happens when I’m going it could shut me down.

It’s a great fest! You would have a great time, I’m sure. If you decide to go be ready when tickets go on sale. It has been selling out rather quickly the past several years.
Must see Voyager, Redemption, Sons Of Apollo, and Manimal.
Curious to see if the Manimal vocalist can pull that shit off live. Lol

Curious to see if the Manimal vocalist can pull that shit off live. LolI'll have to check out some of those. I looked at the lineup but wasn't familiar with much except for Nocturnal Rites, Ross The Boss, Labyrinth and Doro. I really wish I would have known about this fest the year Sanctuary played. I really hate I never got to see them live until after Warrell was gone.

The first 3 are more prog metal. Manimal is a classic sounding band like Priest, Accept, and some Queensryche. Singer has crazy range.
Voyager has a unique and cool sound, and is a total blast live. Check out some of their YouTube stuff.

Redemption is prog metal without forgetting the metal. Some thrash style riffs in there at times. Ray Alder (Fates Warning) was the vocalist until their latest record which features Tom Englund (Evergrey) on vocals.
Apollo is a bit of an all star line up with Jeff Scott Soto, Portnoy, Billy Sheehan, Bumblefoot.
So sad to lose another great musician in Warrell. I did get to see Sanctuary there a few years back. His voice was in great shape. Saw Nevermore several times over the years as well.

Thanks T-man. I'll have to pull this stuff off youtube this weekend because my phone is not great for video. I'm definitely looking forward to Manimal based on my research but I'll check the others out also. Enjoy the week of Metal!
