Hi All,

We've jumped on this issue and gotten the servers back up and running. Maintenance mode has been lifted. We're still investigating what happened but at first look it seems that our AWS service was interrupted.

Yea it was a different error message then I’d seen when it first happened. Figures it was the web service. Still in maintenance mode for iOS. Does the App Store have to approve anything prior to users being able to connect again?

So again 30 hours no playing for iOS users and we miss the last day of the event? Great!

I can deal with downtime — even for days and even if it’s only for iOS users — as long as skill shards are given to us. How about 1 skill shard to all users per hour of downtime? That seems fair. Or maybe one piece of ironite per minute of downtime? I mean the % of acceptable downtime for the year has been exceeded hasn’t it? People are leaving the game and those of us who have been around since it launched haven’t seen the sort of downtime that’s been happening lately since this year. Skillshards would make it all better though. Those things are too hard to come by. Takes forever to find those things.

I restarted my iPhone but it did not work. Deleting and reinstalling then logging in again did not work at first but then it allowed me to connect and download updates. I’m back in.
