With running 150 times (at least with the sands of time I refilled), I received ZERO RARE SOULS. We demand percentages. They are in your coding (if you can find it).

Completely valid proposal! But as these drop rates do not rely on spending real money on it, they don't have to show the odds I think. And as it would be heartbreaking they better don't do it ;) You wouldn't like them...

Is the drop chance higher during the running event? I think not... normally during a fragment event it is a 3* chance and even then only very few rare souls drop. I guess it is something like 0.25-0.5% without "3* boost"

Agree 100%. Two days LOL X and ZERO rare souls! Over 100 battles, what are the odds?

It is really a joke, they should not advertise rare souls as a reward. Around 400 runs a NO rare souls.

at this point i don't think that rare souls have a chance to drop at all in LOL anymore

I have now done about 700 LoL runs since this event started and not seen a single rare soul drop.
Burned a ton of ironite and gotten a decent amount of evolution material, but zero rare souls.
Even with a bad RNG I should have seen at least one by now over 2 days of that many runs.

I pretty much gave up on the first day, I spent 450 ironite on those mega sot refills to get enough Lillith frags to achieve the frontier coins and got my Alex Ed then I stopped. That's over 1200 sot and not 1 x rare soul, worse still I tried a different approach in gaining rare souls and sacrificed a bunch but the sacrificial pit isn't dropping rare souls either.

I had a theory that the more senior or achieved the player is the lower the chance of pulling rare souls or Lillith frags.
I know this should not be the case but it certainly feels like it the longer I've been trying event after event for me it has got steadily harder every time...
Fortunately for me the only thing left to get with frontier coins is skill shards so I'm not that concerned but I do feel sorry for the many troopers out there that are suffering the same fate and have not achieved all that's on offer...

I too thought it would be productive to sacrifice the regular souls instead of using the high trade in value of 150 for 1 rare. They shut that down as well. More and more I am playing Marvel games and just running Auto-Pilot on this game. Its lost its luster completely.

I don’t know about drop rates, but the rates for a rare soul to produce a 4 star was very very low. Same with a legendary souls producing a 5 Star. The skull quests give a rare soul or 2 daily but that’s about it. At least 150 souls get a rare soul during he event. But yea no way to really utilize this event unless you hordes rare souls for a long time filling vortexes and the like. Who wouldn’t sac them though? Meh whatever.

Do not waste 150 common souls on buying 1 rare soul. Sacrifice them instead and you're sure to get a rare soul from that plus the pile of random stuff plus the vortex essence.

I tried to get rare souls yesterday from sacrifice. I used 200 normal souls. I got 0 rare souls back.

I'm convinced that there's actually a 0% chance to get a rare soul normally, but it's only there in the drops box so that they can say "Look, you've got a 3x higher chance to get a rare soul in this event!". That's the only time I've ever gotten a rare soul from LOL. Also, I sacrificed what, 150 normal souls, got no rare souls either. :/

I tried too. Got 4 rare souls for the first 100 common. Nada for the 2nd batch.

It goes in cycles... there's some sort of "setting" internally.. you can go weeks and never see a rare soul from a sacrifice.. then for 1 day, you'll see a rare soul drop for every sacrifice, even the petty and meager.

I find that if I just sacrifice 3x 2* & 1x 1* then I almost never get one.

Always try and get multiples of the base level. 9x 2* and 1x 1* (303 points) or 4x 2* and 5x 1* (203 points). This seems to give much better odds for getting a rare soul.

Same here, since I've read this for the first time, I've been following this approach with better results.
That and trying to, once you get a rare soul, do the next sacrifice just has the button appears, sometime I get two and three in a row.

I always try to get the sacrifice to the end of the tier. 420 to 499 for the first one. You get multiples. My usual run is 8 - 1* and 2 - 3*. Or I will do 9- 2* and 1 - 3*.

Just to add a few (rough) numbers :

~150 runs of LOL 7
~1 Lilith frag per run average
~1 common soul per run average, as a guess, I didn't really keep track.
0 rare souls

Only ran LOL 7 as that was some of the chatter as a reasonable value for SOT. Don't know that I believe it or not, but it was the experiment.

Also, having the frag dropping missions closed for two days of the event : idiotic.
Sure, I still wouldn't have gotten enough for a soul, but seriously, 2 days is 28.5% of the event.

The drop rates for a Rare Soul outside of a Lord of Light Event is nonexistent ! During an event...the WHOLE event,, a player might get lucky and come away 3 maybe 4 Rare Souls if they are lucky.

The % of producing a 4 to 5 star character from any form of Rare Souls is extremely low...and it is NOT the % they post in game. It's likely somewhere around 0.001%

The % of a Legendary Soul producing a 5 star character is slightly better...but not by very much.

Now when it comes to Skull Quest and the % of drop rates for any form of Rare Soul or Skill Shard....One has to remember that not every players account works the same as everyone else. Some players accounts will be lucky and they can count on producing a Rare Soul of some kind, or Skill Shard through every run through the Skull Quests...others...such as myself...rarely if ever produce a form of Rare Soul or Skill Shard. I've went months on end without one single form of Rare Soul or Skill Shard through a Skull Quest.

Now lets move on to Events...Some players can blast through events with flying colors, while others are left at the roadside. Take events with certain mission goals, like using "Silence" 500 times...I like a lot of players can blast through those kinds of events with flying colors, and could never understand why some players where complaining about the event....until here recently....NOW I understand ! All of a sudden the last couple times they've held these kinds of event , I can't complete one single event goal to save my soul...I have all the right characters for these events, but all of a sudden the characters with those skills just was NOT working right...only about 5% of the time working.

And all of this has lead me to the sudden realization that the DEV's stack the deck in their favor ! It would be foolish to think otherwise ! They WANT players to throw down cold hard earned cash on the content bundles for Ironite, Sands, Frontier Coins, talisman and character power-up bundles, Mythical Souls ext ext....they want players to pay for the $5 $10 $25 $50 $100 $300 content.....they don't want to admit that they have stacked the deck.

They don't want to admit that they have encoded it in to their game that not every players account works the same as every other account....that it is NOT fair across the board...that some players accounts are better then others at pulling all the great characters...while others are left struggling to barely come away with anything...be it Souls, Exp Shards, Talisman Runes, Evo Shards, Skill Shards...Ironite !

There are all kinds of ways they can easily make this a better, more fair game...and still make tons of money while they're at it...while at the same time helping by word of mouth to bring in more and more players...which makes them more money....but the simple, honest answer is that they refuse to listen to their player base....which is why we see players dropping like flies and refusing to play anymore.

If you want my honest opinion...we "the players" need to find some way to make them sit up and take notice that we are by and large unhappy with the way the game is going....and that without "the players" they have no game
