From now until October 8th at 5 PM PDT, every Rare Soul you open in the Book of Souls, regardless of where you earned it (Skull Quests, bought from Store, earned from Sacrifice, etc) will give you Iron Coins and Iron Eddie Soul Fragments.

Each Rare Soul summoned will grant bonus rewards of 10 Iron Eddie Fragments, and 10, 15, 25, or if you’re very lucky, 150 Iron Coins!!

In addition, there will be Event Challenges you can complete to earn a variety of rewards, including Rare Soul Fragments.

Important: The Iron Coins and Iron Eddie Soul Fragments are only earned from using “Rare Souls”. Rare Magus Souls, Rare Gun/Assassin Souls, Anniversary Souls, etc will not yield fragments when used.

Hmmm same thoughts kkkreg5, do I or don't I? Well stuff it plenty more to collect before the sac event and plenty more souls saved for it as well... in goes 22 rare souls not expecting much based on my luck lately.....

I pulled a dupe POM and my first Benjamin Breeg Eddie a couple of other four stars I can save for the sac event and 500 or 600 iron coins 220 frags for another Iron Eddie, all good here too!

Now do I push my luck and purchase 10 more or be happy with what I got? I think I'll be happy with what I got...:rolleyes:

The way I see it, you're gonna drop the souls into the book anyway for the Sacrifice event, so you might as well get a sack of Iron Coins for it!

My willingness to participate in this event entirely depends on how often the iron coins will drop. I don't want nor do I need another Iron Eddie as I already have one.

Iron Coins are guaranteed to appear when you summon a Rare Soul. The amount that appears will vary however (they drop in amounts of 10, 15, 25, or if you’re very lucky, 150)

I am wondering what the next sac event will give. For around 30-50 rare souls you will receive an iron Eddie and 500 IC. I dont need the Eddie and the IC is only 2 days worth of arena battles. I guess the gamble is take the rewards now or wait and see what is behind curtain number 2. The rare souls would probably be sacked either way.

Will the next frag event have the 3X rare soul drop. Any thoughts on waiting until the next sac event to consume your rare souls.

23 rares and only a 4* magus priestess, but 440 iron coins is a nice addition - very happy these seem to be becoming more common rewards. With the ironite rewards for the Cosmos levels it shouldn't actually cost much at all in terms of refills to get the bonus souls etc. too.

It seems the only way for me to get Iron Eddie is to purchase Essence Chaser pack. But 55€ is way too much. So, no Iron Eddie for me this time. Me sad. :(

I'm betting on a better payoff with the pumpkin sac event. I dont need another IE, and the IC earned isn't enough to convince me to sac my rare souls this event. Two events in a row to sacrifice or trade rare souls. We will see how the next sac event goes. The cosmos events are definetly getting better rewards.

153 Rare Souls = over 3700 Iron Coins, 3 Iron Edds and lots of pit fodder. The good thing, other than the coins, is the returns on Rare Souls. From several tier 6 sacs, 80 rares came back to me. All in all, not bad. The only real disappointment was no Icarus.

Anyone else notice the high cost of summoning Iron Edd? 74,000 gold!

Edit: Decided to toss in another 99 Rares. Only 6 4* chars (still no Icarus), 1170 IC and 2 more Iron Edds. Tossed the 6 and 2 back in the fire for another tier 6, 20 Rares back. So close to 5000 IC for about 152 Rare Souls total.

Nice little event with good rewards for cosmos battles! In my opinion the IC return is ok but not that great that I will open all my saved souls. Still hope to get Icarus from a bunch of rares. Disappointed that g/a souls don't count, I have much more of these. Why are g/a souls treated differently? Was the same with the soul trade event recently.

I opened 32 Rares and got 310 Iron frags, 1300 Iron coins, a second Alexander, an Icarus, 3 4* and a bunch of 3* trash. Not bad at all.

I sacrificed 10 rare souls and pulled a nomad. There was a time that he was used in the arena, now he just sits on the sideline. Now multi hitters are more powerfull, the game had a definite power shift. He can keep VHE company in the minor league.

Liking this one, bonus material for the rare souls.
40 rares - alliance general + mystic eddie (ok dupes but good pit fodder). Iron Eddie (ok have, but is useful for this guantlet as I'm out of warrior/ assassin's for level AA).

Plenty of 4* for the pit as well.

Feels like there is a move to assure getting a specific Eddie (better way to get cash from the newer, but less resource well of players I guess).

Dropped about 15 souls so far and nothing new and only a few Ironite but I like this event in spite of that. I don't feel like I am just losing resources. I can use all the drops in the sac event so this was a good event imho.

I agree. I like how you can still keep the characters once you've opened the souls as it's only opening them that's required, so as long as you've got the space for them, you can still use them in the sac event. I'd like to see more of these events, maybe have them rotate like the heroic souls do in terms of fragments.

Wondered why I didn’t get any IC when I had opened them. Then it dawned on me, I had bought the Angry Bird Souls.

No Iron Coins and to add extra misery, no birds.
