December 4th 2018 Update Discussion

This is the main post to discuss general changes from the recent update.

Things I've noticed right off the bat:

1. Game icon changed.
2. Game company rebrand? Did I see "Navigator Games" (didn't grab a screenshot)? I wasn't expecting that!
3. "Isle of Avalon" has now appeared (after Night City).
4. New achievements and skull quests.
5. Eddie is as articulate as ever!

Good update so far. Looks like when you're in the level select screen rewards in Night City, you'll see rewards for Underworld. (Not the world screen, the levels screen)

Btw, the frontier store doesn't have the new talismans. Are they still going to be added?

Also, it seems like we can't expand the slots for characters and talismans anymore... can you guys take a look at this?

It appears they may have rebranded 50cc yes. I believe NF is in the UK, while Navigator is in Vancouver.

Love the new update but 875 blood soul fragments to get killer prime is seriously too much. You get 5bs fragment per night soul meaning you need to open 175 night souls to get him. I mean, com'on, thats more than 15000 ironites. I understand its not meant for 99% of the players but it would have been nice to make it more affordable (like 1/3 of the requirements).
Other than that, good job on the update.

The next sac event is called blood and snow. Its pretty safe to say blood fragments are likely to be rewards for sacrifices/event challenges along with possessed snowmen, wickerdeer. So farming for gold between now and then will be important to maximise the amount of blood fragments we can get. *disclaimer - dont hold me to this assumption :P just seems quite likely haha.

Wow what an honor. I have so much appreciation for this community and the game. I have my share of complaints but I genuinely love this game and all that comes with it. Thank you for this update. What a great update and I enjoyed it so much.

well in addition kamuz and you did it in a legit way, what is even more impressive. if you both would have been "more creative" regarding your tactics to grab the eternal i bet you would have made the list. but simply exorbitant talent and hard work is not enough ;)

Funny is how this people open the mouth to talk buried shit only but the truth and fact is that I'm still alive and active in the game. This gossip taste like old ladies who bitch from the balconary. Got ya, good to know. Hopefully there will be enough events to cover 2/3 of the cost but we'll see.
Btw, whoever designed and animated the queens guard did an amazing job and deserves a beer. He is hilarious when using his power move.

We understand that this year's Nice List has kicked off a discussion regarding who is included and who is not. Please know that we re-evaluate this list every year and it is based on a number of things including community engagement. That being said, we will not discuss why specific players are on the list and others are not.

This issue has effectively derailed the general update discussion this thread was created for.

Please note that any further comments regarding the nice list (outside of congratulations) will be removed.

If you are looking for easy manual Shock team

Minazuki, Shinobi Spy - Magus
Storm Eddie
Magus/Gunner Child of the Damned or any ally that can give extra Power

Farmed Powerslave. Each stage you have 6 power to use Minazuki Two Heaven Strike which drops up to 3 Shock on all enemies. On the boss round use Storm Eddie Bolt basic attack after Minazuki - Can average around 40 shock per clear.

Lower Power team is similar setup

Speed of Light Eddie
Magus/Gunner Child of the Damned or any ally that give extra power.
Random ally or none.

No, I think once you get on that list you will be rewarded with coalgiver Eddie.

many, but when devs increased the amount of ruins they said the maximun would be 10 stacks of each, which i don´t have.

Yea might be a bug. But if they are evolution runes can’t you sell a bunch of solid colored ones and keep the multi-colored runes needed for any evolution? Seems there are always way less of those in inventory.

I remember when they addressed this, but I don't remember there being a major change to the actual stack limit. I was thinking the change was more around not giving MACL0 errors when exceeding the limit. I have had 60 rune stacks for as long as I can remember, and I continue to get that error every time a reward drop creates a 61st stack.

I still would love to see increases to the shard and rune stack limits.

Yeah, me too as I am sure it for a lot of others. I am going to free up a lot of space to be fair with the sac I will be doing but it woudl be useful to have this for sure.

Yeah tonight hoping to clean house and recreate the Halloween shard fest. I have committed to keeping only 1 of each Eddie and have much accumulated inventory to sac. 21 5 star Eddies to get the purple ring warmed up and so many souls waiting to be opened including 3 VHE souls from the heroic soul opening to get Daedelus. 11 mythical souls I don't think I want to open yet and save them for trying to get the next cool 5 star. Problem is now they keep introducing the cool new 5 star as an event soul exclusive and only other way to get it is from heroic souls and even then you gotta be lucky or have 150+ to get the one you want. I opened over 140 before getting Daedelus.

Don’t open them and you get 50 stacks.

Unfortunately, I am right at the 50 stack limit as well.
