Gold and Souls Vault not opening

Ok... I've seen others post about this problem and see that some say their issue is resolved, but not how it was resolved.

I opened a ticket with Nodding Frog / Navigator and explained that when I try and enter the skull quest it says I need 927 skulls across all worlds in the Cosmos to unlock the next Skull Quest. (You have 930 Skulls.)

I got a reply back from support today and was told they'd look into it and then got another E-mail saying they are closing the ticket because they believe the issue to be resolved. Well... IT'S NOT!!...

Is everyone else still having this problem? I'm a little irritated that I can't get in and I'm missing out on daily rewards.

Just defeat the final stage on hard and it should unlock (if you already have the required amount of skulls).

Yup... just finished Night City on Hard and it opened right up. So strange that they say it only takes a certain amount of Skulls to open but in reality they want you to finish the first two levels. I didn't get all the skulls on Hard yet. I just went for the quick win to see if it worked. Now to go back and get all the skulls...

Yes... Very nice rewards!!! I only managed 2 out of the 3 skulls for the first round. All Assassin round in two two days to get the 3 skulls. I opted to keep going and finished madness tonight. Got Killers Eddie and not exactly impressed just yet. Kinda tired and I have work tomorrow so I'll play more tomorrow and see how he goes.

Don't get me wrong... I went straight for the goal after "Normal" I have 100% skulls on that one, but have some cleanup to do on Hard and Madness... :-)

Yeah I had it and doing hard was what got me into it too - so it is not working correctly as I had way more skulls than needed....that will bug folk if they cant get to the end of hard!

Nice!!! I was impressed with the rewards for the 2 skulls. Hopefully once you get 3 skulls the rewards are constantly huge drops thereafter. Time will tell... I have to do the all Assassin team for the 3rd skull. It won't open back up for another day so I have time to think about my team and talisman combinations. It really was fun to get the new content. I mostly just auto everything. My wife is used to me launching the game and let it auto grind through my troopers list while my phone sits on the coffee table. She said last night "You've been playing your game a lot the past couple days" I started to explain why and then gave up since it seemed like it was going over her head. I had to start playing the game on mute years ago because when I was playing and finished the round she would do the "Eddie Victory Scream" when she heard him do it. She cracks me up!!

How many skulls should you have if you have completed all the skull quests in every world before night city? I’ve done that, and I’m halfway through night city on madness and still need around 50 skulls. The math doesn’t seem right

Yeah its a bit strange that some got it when completing hard but it seems to be some kind of bug that sais to some that they have more skulls then they should have and then it unlocks on hard...
Would be interesting to hear what OS ppl who unlocked in on hard completiom and what OS ppl have that actually had to finish all skulls on all difficulties, for me it unlocked after getting all skulls on all difficulties and Im on iOS.

This is what I'd been thinking since I saw these posts start, since I could not access the last one until I'd beaten NOTB madness, then the last 3 from the quest itself.
Thought it odd that they'd changed the behavior from the previous standard.

I had to clear all levels of night city to open the new skull quest. I cleared 2 skulls, did not try for the 3rd with magus only toons. How long is it taking to clear the new quest? Took me several minutes with swapping Eddie's just to clear the quest.

It's a long Quest.

I got 2 skulls first run because I failed to notice you had to use only magus for a skull.. second run got the 3rd skull.. third run.. easily beat with my standard SU auto run team [Crusader, G CotD (primordials), Sehkment]

Not sure about unlocking it after beating hard or madness br finally got all the skulls and it opened up for me. Good rewards though, got some gold, 3 rare souls, 1 legendary soul, 1 skill shard, 10 frontier coins.

Any suggestions on how to clear it with magus only toons. Using crusader, they steal the shield buffs he gives and slowly kill my team. Using nightmare talis doesnt put them to sleep enough to help and the madame sleep shield doesnt seem to help 5hat much.

Hi Muzzleloader it's damn tough isn't it! I did make it through with Crusader, I used MLillith and Magis Shinobi, it wasn't pretty but it's done, still got to go back tomorrow and finish off the other skull quest in it.. 100% Health I think...

I used horus and prisoner as my teammates. Switched between DDE and clansman with phantom just in case. First round earned the 2 skills still need the magus skull. I took out DDE and put in clansman if I didn't stun the chopper or hellraiser. The darn blue hellraiser steals the crusaders buff shields.

The people who got lucky and opened the quest after the hard NC level were in for a shock with this skull quest.

This morning I beat it with a 2/3 Magus team. My #3 was Osiris who ironically died before I got to the end.

I use King Edward with Destiny/Sustaining and The Madam with Oracle. I don't know who I'm going to use for my #3, I may use the Alchemist.

I actually took all the skulls each map without going back, just a few that I had to replay a few times because of 100% HP or those with use only basic and use x abilities on the same.
Otherwise it was quite smooth sailing except for sentinels only and the last on madness with only assassins and 100% tho I beated that with just letting my team die when he was almost dead, revive and kill him = 100% hp.

Only mages on the last skull quest is left tho since I lack a strong magus Eddie.

Ok so basically if i got it right, to unlock the Skull quest from the NORMAL Night City level, we got to finish also the HARD level?

If so, i don't see the logic behind it, unless it's a bug, which is more likely since it just says you need 927 skulls (even if you got more than that)

No. I got all 3 today in Vault making 930 and we patiently wait for the next one probably an Isle of Avalon based XP Material Vault5077
The first time reward in Gold & Soul Vault included a Legendary Soul for me, but successive rewards are excluding this and the Legendary is not on the list of available Skull Quest loot. Guess this is a one time prize? I was hoping for more of these and Mythical Soul fragments at least with a rare shot at Mythical Souls. It was hard to get this open, we should get more than a handful of 3 star junk from colored rare souls and some gold.
I cleared the 100% health and Magus requirement with Alchemist Lady Azov and Crusader all wearing Shadow talismans.

The Killer dropped for me in my 3rd 10-pack. I hadn't planned to burn that much Ironite for Night Souls, especially given how exceptionally (and unusually) low The Killer's drop chance is (0.218% !!!).

But, I was driving to Seattle for work the night after Night City launched, and all I could think about on the three-hour drive was the Green River Killer. Dark stuff, but this game really bleeds into my real life. For some reason, I seem to have pretty good luck opening souls when in Seattle for work, so I decided to gamble a bit when I got there. After the first two 10-packs, I planned to stop. But, something called to me to try one more time, and there he was. Very strange stuff.

We believe we have found a fix for the issue with the Skull Quests not unlocking / unlocking too early and will be pushing a hot fix for it this week.

I agree with the consecutive rewards being weak for a vault that took me a lot of effort and almost 1000 ironite to unlock with revives lol.

I got legendary soul my first run, couple 3* souls second run and only 1 3* soul the third lol.
Had I known that before I probably wouldn’t have rushed to unlock it. I would have spent that ironite elsewhere.

the weird thing is that it says now i have only 838 skulls, while i had more than 930..don't know why they count like this now :confused:

The problem is that we're losing those nice rewards this special level gives everyday :/

I am showing as 930 total to do and completed - is that what others have after they have completed everything fully - I have been 930 for a week or so I think now. So in essence it means to unlock everyone need to complete everything possible except the three new skulls in the skull quest (obviously!). like others I am very surprised there is only the one available, why not two? Not even usre that had that many Night City mission goals or achievements for us to complete - less than other worlds hasd as well I think.......I wonder if a nightmare level wil lunlock and open up a new skulls location.....would be nice!
