I really love them both, but I personally use Daedalus a lot more. His burn stacking and team buffing are incredible (especially with Echoes). That being said, The Count can be extremely useful in certain gauntlet fights. But, I find Daedalus more generally useful.

The count has that revenge which can be really useful in the arena but the burn stacking from Daedalus can also be really useful. Tough decision.

Plus, if you go for Daedalus, you get to try now instead of waiting another four weeks!

Nearly 100 souls and I got every character.... Except for the one I wanted... I got 3 Mystic Eddie's, and Zero Daedalus's...

I think that God has left my life guys.

The silver lining here is that at least I got 3 Mystic Eddie's, 2 Vampire Hunters, 7 Purple Harpies, 4 Angels of Mercy, 2 Sentinel Corrupt Rescuers and a partridge in a pear tree. But noooo Daedalus.

We really could use a "claim all" or "claim 10" button for fragments.

Pulled one out of 66 - blew my whole load though so i'll have to get lucky for the count next month

144 souls and 3 Vampire Hunters later still no Daedalus. Only manged a 3rd dupe mystic and about 8 Harpies and bunch of other 4* stuff. Oh well.

Hey Stormseye I'm after the same dude! Should I trade in my heroics for a crack ? I only have a third of what you dropped in... also wouldn't the sac event be coming up before the heroic soul changeover? Might be worth waiting a few days??

I have stuffed that up above and have probably confused everyone.... yes I sacrificed them but only after that group was what I was rewarded from 23 heroic souls drops... Devs I think there's some explaining to do here!
You don't mind taking my money but new souls have been few and far between of lately, honestly this is simply not fair!

Guess I got quite lucky, pulled him after opening a bit over 10 H souls. Any ideas on talismans ? Echo and 2 green seems viable.

Thankfully I have him and keeping mine for The Count who I do not have....hopefully! Saying that I quote fancy a second Daedalus. Burn stacking when you couple him with other mass burners is a sight to behold. I had him with my two Icarus and it was a fire fest of death!

I also don't have good experience with the heroic souls. I opened the first ones ever during the last rotation for Icarus. I did not go all in as he is not exclusive in these souls. I opened about 50 souls and did not see a single 5* (which would have been the other char I guess anyway). Small pool of chars, 1.5% chance for a 5* but still hard to get for most of us...
I have Daedalus so I won't open souls this time, but I miss the Count and I am a bit scared of the failure probability! Good luck guys!

Nope, 68 souls in the bin, 3x Sentinel Corrupt rescuer dupes and the rest 3*. Well, Gauntlet should give me a couple more tries and then I'm done.
Whatever, I can make do without him, but it would have been nice.

I opened my first 49 Heroic Souls 10 at a time and didn’t pull him. Accidentally opened the next 99 in one go and got him twice.

In total I got 2 Daedalus, 1 Mystic Eddie, 7 Harpies, 4 Bats and 3 Vampire Hunter Eddies. Taking me to 13 5* Eddies to Sacrafice now. Next Sacrifice event will be fun for me.

Though with the Count and Madam coming up soon I wish I hadn’t mistakenly opened them all. Still missing those two.

Sooo on average, you should be opening ~66 souls to get a 5*. With two available 5* chars, if you get Daed any faster than ~130 souls, you are actually beating the odds!

Took 141 souls to get Daedelus. Saw 2 mystic first, wonder if odds favor the undesirable 5star? Count is not even as awesome as Daedalus, he is my favorite character with the right talismans when paired up with correct support team.

Well at least now I don't feel so bad about dumping my 30 Hero souls and only getting shit in return. Seems the odds are REALLY not in the players favor for this set.

Got Daedalus after 200 heroic soul summoned from more than 8000 heroic frags. Gauntlet challenge is paying off and I'm happy with the pull being the last missing toon out of my collection!

Now I'm after ADD and FFE ofc!

So many different outcomes for folk on here - it really does just show you that RNG is real and if you get him with less than say 100 souls you are beating the odds - in fact it is likely a lot more than that (150?) and you are beating the odds - not doing the sums but if it is 1.5% chance to get a 5* and there are two of them then really 150 is really what you need to be doing and even that is not safe as you could get 2 Mystics.

Like always for me I am not a gambler or not if I can help it so I tend to just not moan if I do a soul drop and dont get it - the odds are not in our favour. I tend to chuck my ironite at the more certain gambles like the current event - farm/churn your way to sac fodder - you know what you are getting (frags for Lillith and WDD) as well as the other LOL goodies (souls/shards etc) and for me that is a safe 'bet' and it gets you resources you always use/need - especially when a big sac event is coming where snowmen wil need upgraded to maximise essence......I really hope this event is akin to the pumpkin one and with the added bonus of blood frags - if it is it will be my big splurge as was the pumpkin event.

The more your excitement is, the biggest the disappointing you get. With NF (Navigator) is better not to have big expectations.

I dropped 200 heroic souls in and got 1 Mystic dupe, 7 dupe Harpies and 5 SCR's dupes and lots of 3* pit fodder. Also 4 VHE dupes through the fragments. I have about 70 heroic souls left, not sure if I should keep trying or wait for the Count in the rotation?

I got only 11 souls and didn't get him. No surprise. I needed 2 years to get prisoner and corrupt general. So many event characters I missed. Motivation is down to zero. Doesn't matter, because I only do the daily quests and use my free SOT/SOW on events.

Spend money on RNG? Never!

Just a thought that keeps occurring to me when the topic comes up : do we really know the odds?

Perhaps I've missed it, but I've not seen anything stated that there is an equal chance for all characters, yet it seems to be assumed so.
Hypothetical example : X soul has 80% chance for 3*, 15% chance for 2*, 5% chance for 5*; there are 3 possible 5* characters available
Are they actually an equal chance for each character, either in all tiers, or even just a specific tier, like 5*?

Seems like it would follow Occam's razor to be so, yet it wouldn't be hard to program otherwise.

I dropped about 30 heroic souls and earned around 5 or 6 4 stars and finally daedalus. I still can't believe it. I think the rng rolls the percentage chance each time you drop a soul. So its 1x5%+1x5% etc. For 2 souls for example.

Fudgo, I bet your finger is sore from claiming all those souls from fragments. It would be nice to claim several or all the souls from fragments. At least you can claim 10 or all souls at one time.

I opened a full stack of 99 heroic souls and got 2 Daedalus. It was tempting to sacrifice one of them, but no! He's too rare and too good for this. I'll keep both of them.

Gratz on those pulls Knut. I used all mine in the chase on Daedalus and got lots of red eyes but no Daedalus.

Don't worry, there were some expletives used. The thing that kept me going is all the fodder for the barbaque during a sac event. The drawback is I'm down to 4 heroic souls. And I need to build my gold back up, especially if there's a February sac event involving hearts!

Icarus was easy to get (in the third heroic soul!) but Daedalus is a bad boy, 50 souls and nothing more than 2 Gunner Angels and 2 Sentinel Rescuers ...

Thanks, I was torn between burning through all my heroic souls or saving some because I also need The Count and Redan. Daedalus is pretty good though. I'm running him through NOTB with Alex Ed to level him and he's a beast.

Yeah I got him at source so was lucky for sure - he is indeed a monster and I use him in NOTB too. I actually just shut down my heroic soul options given the chat here - I converted them to precious as needed the gold - so 140 potential ways to get The Count and Redan gone but I prefer to know what I am getting than gamble - I always pretty much lose on that! This way I have gone from oly a few million to over 10 million gold and I can breath a little more easily!

Hey Rags, I opened a ticket for the same reason. Its just ridiculous to open 100 souls and get the same stupid 4 toons out of 10. Makes no sense at all but seems to be the trend with those heroic souls.
