Alexander can be put to sleep reliably by Assassin Hellhound with no special talismans that can disable passives.
This is regular sleep, not even perfect sleep mind you, not that either of those should ever be applied without a disable passive being present.
This can be checked in every level of Night City with those damn mutts.

If Alexander cannot do the one thing he was good for, he is just a completely useless, expensive show-off on a horse, so please look into this!

The guy, according to his description, cannot be stunned, taunted, slept or frozen.
Probably just had a bad day.
Probably a bug though... I bet he could be put to sleep as well.

Regarding your Alex Eddie being put to sleep. I played around and found that if the first dog does his power move and reduced duration of beneficial effects, that acts like disable passive. Then the second dog attacks and has a 75% chance to stun Eddie.
If you use angel on Alex that should help from being slept. I tried several times was was never put to sleep.
To complete that mission I used Phantom, death dog and undead rescuer. Phantom can sleep, cleanse and revive fallen comrades. Death dog can heal, give immunity and cleanse. Undead rescuer was used as a blocker.

Good explanation, but still, this is a bug.
Except for when a proper disable passive is on Alex (Prisoner, Death Dog, a few others), NO debuffs should be applicable, as per description.
The guy costs a fucking fortune and except for the horse has this one feature. Otherwise, he's pretty mediocre in my book.
So please Nodding Frog, fix this!
If this is too difficult, I think he would not be overpowered if also the passive disable wekness was removed, that should be quite easy then.
