It only seemed like the last Heroic group was there for a few days... not that I cared bring on Musashi! I need him too and this Sac event has better helped me prepare for him. But we will have to wait a while yet!

It was nice to be able to rebuild a supply of Heroic souls after spending a lot of them to get Daedalus and Baroness Redan.

Just rub our faces in it Fudjo! (Laughing) I tried with a few legendary s last time and only secured the Assasin Dog 4* I was missing... missed Redan damn it!

I need him, but where does Musashi sit in the echelons of useful characters? Is he one to really go for like Redan or Daedalus, or not as useful but handy like Assassin Krampus? Just wondering where to target my next batch of heroic souls...

Oh sorry after I used your new Eddie ... I amassed new toons, funny I picked your new toon/Eddie- To help me in Nightmare City and after it was all said and done, I succeeded... Afterwich I got Lucky... Stranger in a strange land... Kinda way. I got souls which paid out in my favour!
Look at my Roster.... Got some nice new Champions!

I need him, but where does Musashi sit in the echelons of useful characters? Is he one to really go for like Redan or Daedalus, or not as useful but handy like Assassin Krampus? Just wondering where to target my next batch of heroic souls...
Given how infrequently I see Musashi in the Arena, I'm guessing he's in that "not as useful but handy" category. Better than Assassin Krampus, I think, and he'll add some helpful depth to your roster in the Gauntlet.

I have him and he's not bad, but I seldom use him. Only in gauntlet and some in night city. He can take any talisman combo, so it makes him versatile.
A bit off topic, but whenever I see Musashi's name I picture the female "villain" from Pokemon ><

Good thing that the sac event has got me prepped up for it. Over 2 stacks of heroics, 15 heroic legendaries, 2 heroic mythicals and potentially one more coming...the RNG better not screw me up this bad.

where do you find out what is coming up in the future on heroic souls - I have seen it just cant remember - is it in game or one of the social media pages from LOTB?
I know I need this guy as well as Redan and The Count from heroics so its going to be a pain in the ass to get these I am sure as tried before and got zilch!

It's ingame in the news feed at the top right corner. One of the items listed is the heroic soul rotation.

Ah nice. The Heroic Soul rotation was getting a bit stale but this is the kind of chance I've been hoarding fragments for (I have a ton after the last few events).

Icarus is not an exclusive toon, you can find him in all regular souls that contain 5* sentinels.

I was saving heroic souls for getting missing Eddies when Redan was in rotation. Damn! I got all missing chars from sac event and hundreds of heroic souls. Damn!

Open a stack with 30 heroic souls and get Musashi, Hallowed Eddie and three 4* dupes.
Then open some rare souls and get a green anubis (new to me).
But open some event souls and got jusr crap. We cannot win everytime I guess.

Yep, it should.
Was tempted to go for him, but I've only got 2 mythicals, so might wait until someone more powerful comes along.
Am chomping at the bit to have a crack at the assassin banshee in a months time though!

About 100 normal heroics, 2 HE but no Musashi so far. Will try again in the evening. Good thing is the overlap with the sac event.
I was also hoping for some frags in addition, but as far as I know there are no epic heroics. Do legendaries give mythic frags?

I used two mythical heroic and got two HE, but I then used 5 legendary heroic and thankfully got him! I'll take that all day long! Still got a mythical and handful of legendary and a few stacks pf normal heroic for when Redan and the Count appear again which will be a while away - likely will need then for NotB Eddie too!

Not sure, just pulled him today as well. His plus is his versatility, he can even use any of the 6-sets (and the upcoming 5-sets). He's got a cleanse power move which would also make an angel build viable I guess. Haven't seen him in the arena, but he looks like a useful gauntlet toon due to his flexible building options.

Used 4 Legendary Souls, got Hallowed Eddie (which I already had) and some 4-stars. Very first regular heroic soul and boom, Musashi. I think I'm going to toss a set of Eclipse talismans on him.

Wow...
Threw one legendary rare soul in this morning and got the prisoner. Threw in about 7 Heroic and got Musashi.
Plus I managed to land the corrupt general from a rare soul this morning.

I popped one heroic mythical soul and pulled him (musashi). There was a 50% chance of him or hallowed Eddie. Other than a guaranteed character from a soul, these are the best odds you can get. I think legendary heroic souls are 4 or 5 stars, but I don't have the odds of pulling a specific character.
I would put a few more regular heroics in but I am almost completely out of gold.

I was defo lucky then for sure! Only used two mythics and 5 legendary to get to mine! I am unlikely to get that luck again....which is a shame as I still need Count and Redan!

Opened 3 99stacks of heroics before I saw mine, good part about it is the 6 7th Son Eddies and 2 Hallowed that came with him for April sac event!5363

Yeah, its strange. No frags dropping from normal heroics, but mythical heroic frags drop from legendary heroics.... I wonder if its a bug? I swear I thought they should roll up!
Edit: Looking at the tuning notes, I wonder if its simply because there isnt an epic level heroic to roll up to a legendary?
Glad I didn’t have to open regular heroics. After throwing in 6 legendary and 2 mythical Musashi appeared.
DEVS, can you please clarify if we should get legendary fragments from opening regular heroic souls!?!

I did not know Musashi had 6 x colourless talisman slots, has anybody got recommendations for good talisman combo's?

I wanted to comment about this toon after reading all the wondering going on in this thread.
I got Musashi back in Sept. I could never have reached 2nd & 3rd place respectively, in the Arena without him. Musashi efffin' ROCKS !
I use ANGEL / HEAL talismans. Since his passive allows No Silver effects, the Angel talis removes everything else. He stays clean (unless prisoner disables, then his silver will stick and stay it's duration or until cleansed), and he can cleanse everything from self and All allies (silver and regular), while also adding perfect hit, lifestyle & spellvamp, then gets another turn. His hits are pretty good, but he attacks and REMOVES EVERY BENEFICIAL EFFECT from a single toon. Even if it says the effect can't be removed. Trap has no affect on him. But removing counterstrike and revenge most likely will trigger it even though it's removed. I use this guy to heal and cleanse the team, while removing all buffs. I call him the captain of the team. He's a must have..... A Game Changer for me!

Thanks Bakura that's good help, I have a trooper that runs eclipse on him, it seems to work ok, I had not seriously considered him in the arena, I was thinking he is a great daily to have for trooper runs and Gauntlet of course...
If he is your captain of the team then what the hell does Eddie do? And what team mates would you run with him?

Well, thanks to you I use the Desert Guardian (I kept reading on the forum here, how Stormseye kept mentioning you favor Des.Guard. as a blocker.) I've been using him with Ass. Banshee ( until they nerf her in the next update), and FFE. That's my attack team, my defense is different due to the AI not using them as I would.
There haven't been too may teams I couldn't beat with that team, unless they have all the relics and are just too powerful.
First I cleanse or heal if needed, then remove all buffs with Musashi ( he also weakens them with smite & ignite), then disable and punch with DG ( he's quite punchy), then I bring the hammer with FFE. The banshee is probably last just to add immunity. It's systematic, but it works.
I just wonder about the teams w/ jacked up cosmic talis. I had someone wipe out my whole team in 2 hits, granted they both had critical strike, but felt like my relics weren't working and Banshee was already nerfed.
Anyway, spent months using primordials w/ Musashi, but he was weak with no added def. & mr. from the talis. Then I realized that he had to be the main guy who couldn't be stunned or affected by negs in order to heal and cleanse the team. It seems so many teams just automatically put so much crap on you every turn, you gotta stay clean, survivability is everything. Plus they all steal buffs anyway, so I use talis w/ benefits that can't be removed, except Banshee and blocker have immunity so prisoner doesn't disable if enemy goes 1st. I use energy talis on FFE , Musashi's cleanse is 7 points. Hard to do each round with Alchemist & KP, etc, unless I'm stealing energy.
