View Full Version : Remove beneficial effects

Hey all. Hope someone can help. I've knocked out most of my mission objectives, however about a week ago all missions which require "remove beneficial effects" have ceased progressing. I have the characters needed -- my Madam was carrying the weight of these objectives. Any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong or is this a dreaded BUG?

As you can see my progress stopped at 118 and any other mission requiring Remove Beneficial Effects hasn't registered any other progress.

Ahab's, what is your game ID so we can look and see your roster. Do you have speed of light Eddie or wrath? They are toons that easily work to remove beneficial effects.

Yup, I have SOL Eddie and still no luck at all.

If you have Clairvoyant.. she'll do it ever time with her basic attack. So will Alchemist. Assassin Hellboy. Assassin Priestess... there are several which will.

I got a bug with removing beneficial effects on the "Purge Hunter III" mission (see screenshot above). It doesn't count. I used different toons but it doesn't count.

Glad I'm not insane and alone on this one. Are you able to complete the other missions requiring REMOVE BENEFICIAL EFFECTS?

I don't get it. I'm trying out every soul I get which either guarantees or % to REMOVE BENEFICIAL EFFECTS and nothing. None of my borrowed troopers help. Doesn't matter what I do. No luck. I appreciate your suggestions tho. Thanks.

i bet the recent game update must have messed up your data

I am having the exact same problem as the original poster here. Some time ago, all of my Remove Beneficial Effects missions stopped updating as well. I've tried numerous characters which have the ability to remove beneficial effects, but nothing works. I've contacted support but haven't heard back. This is on Android. If anyone has any info about this please post here! I'm stuck on my missions. Thanks.

FBomb-- still waiting for a resolution since early March. Support is aware of bugs relating to Purge missions and are supposedly working on it. We will have to see....

My fiance is having the same problem his isn't registering at all for some reason he has the right characters and has done it over a dozen times but won't register the count even though he's doing it can someone help please

Well, count me in on the "thought I was crazy" bandwagon. I can't make progress either. Other mission objectives are working fine.

Contact customer support. Though I'm still waiting for a fix, PERHAPS if more people contact customer support something might be addressed. Good Luck.

It's been nearly four months, and the bug is still standing. We should organize a complaint campaign, because it should be really easy to fix, there is no excuse.

I sent a request to support. They confirmed we're not imagining stuff and that it is broken, the engineers are aware of it, and it's got a high priority. So hopefully soon!

With an update a few weeks ago they added some additional "missions" which you could do right from the main screen. Apparently these count towards the mission completion challenges and I ended up getting the crimson dog!

Same here, but there's still plenty of ironite and other rewards I can't get. Instead of fixing issues, NF just adds more distractions...

Any news on the progress of this one? Still can't complete any missions with "Remove Beneficial Effects" tag on it.

Thanks for the confirmation that it's not just me being an idiot, shocking that it's taking so long for Support to find and fix this bug though. I agree with others that the priority seems to be adding more toys / cash-grab items rather than improving the resilience of the game itself.

Wow, I'm rezzing such an old thread with the same problem. I haven't been able to progress in this mission though I use tons of "remove beneficial effects" characters.

It's only been 2 and a half years since I got frustrated enough to look into why I couldn't get the last 2 quests completed... what a shame that there's been no official response (let alone an actual fix) to this issue. Oh well, maybe in another couple of years we'll finally be able to complete them :)
