Last chance for Mariner?

Earlier today when I went to the gauntlet the rewards were changed to a mythical warrior soul and 6 necropolis talismans for the 1 rank. Then mythical frags and the talismans lesser numbers for the rest. But after a hour or so they were changed back. So this the last chance for the mariner till he is put in a soul?

This is a reoccurring bug. You just need to close it and go back later. It's really bad when it does it at the reset. It is the main cause of many of my wrong rewards.

But, if I'm not mistaken, the last chance for the Mariner will be at the end of the Gauntlet: Special Tour. After this rotation, (which will be an event), a new character will be added, probably a sentinel (following the logic so far).

The first "special tour" did reward with mythical heroic frags instead charlottes.

So don't worry, you can get frags from the store later on like Charlotte (I assume).

I am 10 fragments short of the Ancient Mariner....and it's 10 fragments I would have had if not for that stupid rewards bug. I really hope they fix it soon cause I could use his help in this gauntlet cycle, it seems harder than usual (probably trying to make people panic and buy that season ender pack).

You could use frontier coins to buy enough fragments from the store under the events tab. its a bummer to do so but at least you won't be "just" 10 short.

Why not put in a support request to sort it, I've found them real helpful with stuff like this.

By the way, can anyone tell me what the Talisman slots on the Mariner are please?

Ancient Mariner has 3 Sentinel/Green slots and 3 open slots.

My Mariner arrives Sunday morning, spent all last Sunday morning against impossible odds working my way to Level S in the Gauntlet, I made enough frags with 5 to spare.
Can't believe it I should have been dead at 3rd game in AA! But my 2 sets of trusty Fortune talismans kept me going, best talismans in the game for my money.

Mariner seems to be powerful char ... theoretically. In real combat it is just medicore. Low damage and its basic move ability "transfer all negative effects" just doesn't work.

i hope, ancient mariner fragments become available like charlotte fragments in 50/2000 IC in PVP-Store. I'm missing ~100 on my mobile and thanks to the sacrifice event, have 5000+ IC spare.
