Restarted the game 3 times now w/ 5 min in between and still no daily reward. Bug?

Update: Seems as though nothing from the reset had happened yet. Great.

If you live in the US, it's daylight savings time screwing you over. Your rewards will be rewarded an hour later.

Thx. Already forgot lol.
It's so confusing. Server is GMT+0, announcements are pacific standard time, add daylight savings time on top (why do we still use this shit ?) and you never know when stuff in this game is going to happen in local time. ><

Haha, "daylight savings time" ! i didn't know that you guys call it like that, that's hilarious!
Did you get your rewards in the meantime?
I am also always confused with the in-game time and have to google-translate the time every time. Also there will be a change in Europe from "daylight savings time" to summer time. When this also applies for PST there will be 2 changes in the next weeks!

Technically, it's called daylight saving time, but everyone adds an S to saving, but yes, that's what it's called here.
Summer time is a better sounding, if inaccurate name, since it starts in early spring.
Whole damn thing is stupid.
Lost sleep and lost productivity twice a year cost people and companies lots of money, but hey, the sun is still up as everyone sits on the couch and watches TV.
Pick one damn time and stick to it.
Just for those who need the reference, Pacific time (i.e. where all the game times are based on) is UTC -8 in winter, and UTC -7 for DST/Summer time.

There was a recent debate in the EU Parliament on the abolition of the time change. After it seemed quite clear in the beginning that the abolition would come, the topic has been postponed again.
The benefits in terms of energy consumption are no longer there (one is not even sure if the benefits have ever been), but the number of cases where the time change has a negative impact on people is increasing.

Not every state in the US uses the time change. It really depends on if you want it to be dark when you go to or leave from work/school for daytime shifts during winter months.

Living in CA, I believe the original purpose was so that farmers could have more hours of daylight to work in, and agriculture is HUGE in our state.
