I was wondering what you guys thought about the new Raven witch. I think her looks and abilities are cool. But i don't play pvp or gauntlet so i dont know how good she is there.

She does well with Labyrinth set.

I’m using her in a new look team, I preferred to start her off with Mark and Hex, I saved the Labyrinth for Set and use him for a blocker.
Having a fury instead of a passive is good against Prisoner builds but still useless in a sense as your blockers can let you down.
Being able to use her fury every time means I can utilise Alexander Eddie which is great against FFE/KP builds particularly when you weren’t lucky enough to score NOTB Eddie

Running her with Labyrinth and Cosmic as well.

I tried Warlord/Sustaining/Trap, and Hex/Warlord/cosmic.. but Warlord wasn't giving her much help. Labyrinth seems to suit her better.

I tried swapping her on my PvP team with the Prisoner... but that was a mistake. Without The Prisoner, any team with Killer Prime will remove Alchemy buffs...

She hits hard though. Good character. Unfortunately I can't really test her too much. Against my own characters, all with the same relics it's hard to tell how ANY new character will do in the arena against other builds until you play a few matches.

Yes, you can grind for the Labyrinth set, but for sure also some buyers are around as well. Have also seen some of the new pay-only talis in the arena already.Those guys seem to be afraid of a real competition with equal conditions.

Honestly I hope these new sets will be nerfed hard in a few weeks! It is so annoying, given the AI accuracy boost.

BTW this all is going in circles.... hilarious! First we had months giving talisman related to giving buffs when healing was applied, resulting in ultra high damage numbers. Now we see a lot of talis that simply reduce the taken damage by X %. This cannot be considered development IMHO.

Is buying Talismans really worse than buying ironite for grinding or Arena?

This is a freemium game, if someone wants to spend their disposable income so be it. Is someone wants to spend time and money to gain an advantage good for them. I dont see where anyone who has lucky pulls of toons or cosmic talisman say they wont use them because it is unfair to most of the player base.

My easy solution... auto-play PvP... your AI is also AI :) And the boost really only ever factors for first strike.. if the opponent isn't strong enough to kill your team with the first strike.. then you'll kill them with the second. I've RARElY had a battle go 3, 4, 5 turns when auto-playing lately.

You don't get talismans simply for a mega-refill.. you have to use that mega-refill to grind grind grind grind LOL in order to get fragments to purchase talismans.

Ahh sorry Yup must have confused you with 50% of defence builds atm....lol!
I must admit with the right blocker for protection and the right Talisman combo Raven Witch does hit mega hard, I’ve been having fun trying different combo’s in attack.

I don't grind for the Labyrinth Talismans. Next month they will be nerved to the ground and new Talisman-Sets were thrown into the game. Boring & frustrating!
I play my own style and find other sets & combinations for her.
