“Remove beneficial effects” missions NOT working

I do not receive credit for removing beneficial effects while trying to complete missions. Dozens and dozens of sands of time wasted over a four month period. Any particular reason this glitch is in the system? Am I the only one it doesn’t work for?
And yes, I am using the correct Eddies and toons to remove beneficial effects because I’ve tried a them all!!!

You realize hopefully that the enemy MUST have a beneficial effect first. Simply using a move which is supposed to remove effects means nothing if there is no effect present.

Yes I realize this. Still doesn’t work as far as receiving credit under missions tab even though the beneficial effect has been removed. (i.e. wickerman isle, wickerman has defense up and attack up.) I’ve even removed talisman and used low level toons as to not kill him with one blow. Zero credit.
