I think they are talking about OHKO in Lord of the flies. For any other level just getting to the next wave takes more than 1 second - though it may depend on the cell's performance when loading the next screen. That aside I don't think time matters in any way, there's plenty :)

Nice tactics, but unfortunately this "game" has become a sort of football manager game where you don't play the matches by yourself, but set up a team that has to play day and night. So you need to get a setup that can fly on autopilot, and as you can see there are teams that can beat this very last world of the cosmos at the current state, within 1 second.

As others have said, playing NC makes sense if you need gold.

I just do it manually, Alchemist with Shadow and Aim, fully sharded. Got me through most of Night City on all difficulties too.
