Lucifer? Really? Isn’t that the fictional character we already know as the Beast?
Next they’ll have a character for God as well!
I had kind of thought that the character in question marks along with the 5 x classes of Lord of Light they advertised last week that was due to be revealed in the final stage of this mega event, has been revealed already as Dark Lilith.
Is this not the case?
I’m mean it’s highly likely I’ve missed out on something. Is there any truth to this Lucifer or is this just a prediction?

Collections tab is not officially in the game. It will appear occasionally, when it's not supposed to (a la the Garden of Life appearing for some of players before BNW launched), next to the fragments tab. Looks like a Book of Souls with a magnifying glass over it. I don't know the circumstances it appears under, if any, but I got it again last night, and it pulled up a black screen. The frogs probably don't want me in there again!

Also redemption fragments drop randomly, bad enough, but only on floors XIII and higher? Id hate to be fairly new to the game and unable to farm. My team is struggling to do it on floor xiii, taking 3-4 minutes per run on auto. So shardborns are almost unobtainable, and dark lilith is more or less the same unless you buy her. This mega event might be the end of me.

Edit : Just had my first defeat. So even I can't auto floor XIII so thats that it seems. Get fucked.

Wait for the 3rd part of LOL event! Maybe we get new event souls which drop any LOL or a new toon like "Lucifer". Only then we can choose the best option to buy.

I alternate sometimes at the beginning with PoM to grant me invincibility, but it's not really needed.

My team was

Lilith Warrior - Viper
Maclo - Present/Warlord
Raven - Labyrinth

PoM - Angel/Health // Hallowed - Orbit (I used PoM for the first runs)

This team worked fine on manual for both levels, and I'll try on auto now, although I don't think it'll work at all...

Could have spent $100-$150, opened 75 souls for the 750 required frags, got lucky and got dupes + the earned. Possibly even this scenario x 2.

Even more. they nerf now so you can "awaken" the character.. that's how Raven Witch works.. she's the same character as before her nerf if you "awaken" her twice (plus added perfect corruption infliction).

I used shadow wicker man Eddie, gunner rockets, and gunner krampus. With the extra power and extra turns on that setup I was getting around 40 spell vamp counts per run. It’s manual but could knock it out in around 15 runs.

Yeah, Krampus and Minotaur, aren't the characters I have lol. Been trying with the meathead and hourglass that have it as their power move, but they just don't ever seem to use it. Only the eddies that have it as one of their moves seem to have a chance to use it.

Switched to the magus shardborne that's also part of the event, and hmmm, they use their power move to grand spell vamp just fine.

I am buying the souls with frags to get random grab bags of evo materials instead of specific stuff from the store. Seems like a better deal giving better, but random, rewards plus including 10x 3star colored evo shards and hearts. Since I need massive quantities of everything now it doesnt matter that its random. Drop rates are what they are and it is just going to cost a ton of resources to awaken all 5 Lords, Dark/Nightmoon Lilith & Lucifer. But on the plus side investing into these characters is more worthy in my view than running an event dungeon 1000 times at 15 SoT to get a dust collecting novelty that is used once or twice every 2 weeks in Gauntlet.

They are old frags from August BoS event that were used for Quantum 6 set talismans - got one set of them I think.

I only played LoL >X during the first awakening part and I was surprised that the enemies are always the same, independend of the day (would make sense to somehow refer to the respective LoL-class + some special if you play while LoL <X is closed). The same is true for the rare soul frags. It would be a pity if this LoL dungeon would always give warrior frags.

I don't know yet if I will awaken the raven witch during this event part, as the rewards are rather lame (oracle talis).

When I played the LoL dungeon some weeks ago, I had a look at the rewards list and only warrior frags were listed. This was when it was warrior LoL day. So I thought next day would give magus frags, but it was again warrior. I would grind this Dungeon on the days that are assassin and gunner LoL (which we normally don't do as these 2 days are never included in the LoL frag events).

For the days when normal LoL is closed, there are several options to show some creativity! All LoL's as bosses, RNG rotation, something like that. Frags could also be random, or plain rare frags or even better: legendary soul frags!

All auto, they were never close to die , maybe it is because of relics, mine are all complete.
My W LoL is on level 8, playing a new key right now and it seems it will take 7 normal refills.

I just ran one key on level 14 and earned 250 redemption frags. That's going to be alot of runs for chances to earn dupes. I wonder if the chances will be any better to pull sharbornes than pulling dupe liliths.

Orbit it the key. Dark Lillith passive deal massive true damage. Orbit prevents it. Singularity is not needed. I use Madam with Alchemy. Gives better results with Sustaing Warlord.

I ran level XIV with 1 key yesterday and ended up with 200 Redemption frags. Not sure how many runs I did. What is a bit strange is that the Shardbornes I pulled from Nightmoon souls were 4* characters and the ones listed available for redemption frags are 3*. Probably just a visual error on the 3*?

I have enough Redemption frags for four shots at these new characters - going to do them in a bit - I think we eventually get the Magus one through achievments so I am bound to get at least two of those!!

If you farm the cr*p out of level 14 you get a fair hit of these and I have had at least two drops of 50 frags that I saw while farming.

Edit: Can confirm the Shardborne you get from the Redemption souls are all 3 stars - my luck was OK, no magus but got one of sentinal and gunner as well as 2 assassin from the 4 souls I collected.

Sentinal takes a whopping 10 skill shards, 5 for gunner and another 10 for the assassins.

And assassin, against Orbit he shoots blanks. True damage off the charts but when blocked by these useless. Really cool character and looks awesome fully awakened, but because if these talismans stillborn for arena and not worth investment of awakening. What a shame.

This upcoming arena event has great or terrible timing depending on which side of the new character fence you are on. Red star max awakened Lords are popping up, 5 purple star Dark Lilith today also. Fighting against these is truly a fools errand unless you have them too.

When you reach a high level with him its good for farming, until that, his dark ghost effect he can be a double edge weapon against your running play time, sometimes you already blasted the whole team but you stil got a random guy ghosted who is only standing there stealing your time. However, you can build up a team around him to remove ghost, or when he is powerful enough you kill the enemy team befoer ghosted.



About the Higher Lol dungeon. This team looks useful but I still can´t manage it on auto, I dont have Charly. I tried to use a replacement but at the end, from time to time my Alex/orbit its killed, also tried different combinations including M Lilith/fortune, or another char with orbit or alchemy or an extra greed for health but my results are inconsistent.

Gunner LOL will deal massive damage to 1 target.. if he kills that target.. he deals massive damage to the other targets :) (Awaken level 2)

Thing is.. his defense isn't as good as the Warrior or Assassin LOL (Which are the 3 I have at the moment - no magus or sentinel).

Also have 3 of the Shardbornes - Assassin, Magus, and Sentinel. Not really that stoked about them overall. Much like the Newbornes... meh.

For what it's worth.. I still use Raven Witch even though she does zero damage against Orbit talismans... she still steals immunity and immortality, grants extra turns, and clears silver buffs... Won many a battle due to that even though she was throwing blanks for the most part. If my A LOL was Awakened more.. I'd be more apt to try him more. But.. 3star purple evo runes are too hard to come by. Last A LOL dungeon I burned a couple thousand SOT on and only got 26 of the suckers. AND... I need them for Dark Lilith, Raven Witch and LOL.. so like 400 of them minimum :)

I know "Navigator Frog" is a business..... and everything is about $ nowadays....gotta make revenue to keep the servers running, etc. But as fun and exciting all this "Awakening" and loads of dungeons are..... this is all clearly a HUGE marketing ploy to boost revenue. The resources needed to utilize the characters and cosmic talis are way too much! No one wanting FREE is going to get far or be competitive. It all trickles down to IRONITE. And in large amounts. Not many of the packages give a large amount.... unless you spend $100.
This need to invest more $ in order to evolve or advance, will cause an even greater divide between the spend and spend nots.

But remember, Iron Maiden is on Tour promoting this game.... so all this new material and gameplay (awakening/boss toons/dungeons) is all coinciding for the success and revenue of IM & NF.
Anyone been noticing a big influx of newbies?.... I wonder how many have started playing cuz they discovered LOTB at the concerts.

Oh my goodness! 100 bucks per month? That's some heavy investment. Is that the whale approach we heard so much about? "Thanks" for this payment, I could not reconcile this with my conscience. This is more than what I payed in total since the game was released. On the downside: The developers will feel confirmed in their money grabbing approach, which is dangerous in my opinion!
This is not meant as an offense, but it rather shows what happened to the game. It was a happy peaceful free to play game at the start (there was no PvP in the beginning), moving to slight pay-to-win, onwards to heavy pay-to-win (classic freemium bullshit). What we see now is pay-to-collect (characters that are ONLY available for cash) and pay-to-play with these heavy SoT costs for all the dungeons that are released (at a ridiculously high frequency).
Recently I was around 9k Ironite, I used 2k for event souls in the first awakening event to get 1 LoL and used "some" more to get Magma Eddie and Malakhov. Then I was down to ~3k Ironite. I try to get up high in Ironite again but this is hardly possible with all the expensive dungeons. I planned to leave the game as soon as it is not possible anymore to compete by having good ironite reserves and a good ressource management. It seems like this critical state might be reached more or less soon.

I have one serious question alongside this: Why are you guys farming that new expensive LoL dungeon so intensively? For the awakening materials and the frags that can give the shardbornes, right? Or did I miss something? There is nothing else connected to the actual event that can be missed, apart from the event challenges e.g. grant spell vamp etc. Thanks for answering this! I am a bit lost in the game recently.

I have one serious question alongside this: Why are you guys farming that new expensive LoL dungeon so intensively? For the awakening materials and the frags that can give the shardbornes, right? Similar here, I first need to find out what all these dungeons are about and if they are worth it. So far I was pretty unobstrusive, have not yet played Maya, Airstrip or Raven. I mean they are permanent (or??), so I see no rush as there is nothing time limited with these (please correct me if I am wrong!). From the first view I think only Maya has good rewards, but I'm not sure.

I used 3 LoL keys during the first event phase for level 12. This was pretty ironite costly already. I used some more event souls to have enough frags to buy 1 LoL (warrior), to awaken him 3 times to get the Valor set. The 3 keys gave a lot of awaken material but not enough for the 3 awakenings. So I used some of the frags to get the upgrade material. This was rather easy and I didn't need many. But I am quite sure this will be different for the higher awakening steps. This time I won't awaken a character, as I don't need a set of oracles. Also I am sure there will be one event or another that has dungeon keys as rewards (at least it says in the august tuning notes that keys can be event rewards). I do not plan to buy another LoL with frags at the moment. I think the Talismans are more important, as we cannot get them anywhere else and all LoLs will be available for FC when the mega-event is over (mid of October).
Until then I try to understand the new meta, what all these new characters can do and where they fit, and I try to get my Ironite stocks up again, as these dungeons really drain your stocks easily.

I got her with frags, she didn't drop for me from a soul. I did purchase a few event soul bundles.... I'm apt to spend the $100 once a month on the legendary package. And if I wait for events like these, it's no big deal to burn some ironite on 3 or 4 soul packs.

I am, of course sitting at 12 ironite at the moment :) Which is how I know it's pretty impossible to get anything of merit done in this app unless you are refilling SOT constantly.

I bought 7 event soul 10packs plus the challenge reward souls to get 750 frags Dark Lilith. A couple months of stacking 6300 ironite gone in a flash, but the Fear Of Missing Out got the best of me with this event character. Was hesitant with Lucifer on the horizon, but the "free way" of getting DL requires all 5 LoL max awakened clearing dungeon, a massive resource investment that will take serious time. Time that will most likely introduce new better characters that will make DL obsolete when she finally is acquired. And she is REALLY COOL just wish I could get 5 red stars to get the blocking opponent revive passive. That is going to make a great advantage in arena against so many troublesome teams. I wonder how much better Lucifer is? Could be a let down like Killer Beast event finale was to Killer Prime introduced earlier but so much better.

As a "free to play" player I concentrate on the most useful toons I got. In my case it's only the Raven Witch. Missing so many toons so it's easy to choose what to do: nothing but wait! Maybe another overpowered toon is published with 3rd part of LOL Event, but I'll never get him (or her?) because of shit RNG and no interest in money spending on 24/7 farming.

I ran the LOL dungeons level 14 for my upgrade stuff - not really used that many awekening shards yet - just bought a few warrior packs for my LOL. and from that I also had enough to get my Witch started up to 3 purple stars (and a second one to 2 purple stars). I have done airstrip and half of Mayan so now looking at Raven's Alter to hunt down those targets. It is, at the moment, best place to get 3 star coloured upgrade evo shards which I will need a lot of for Witches and maybe Assassin LOL eventually.

LoL 11-14 for random Awakening materials/ Awakening frags/ 3* colorless talis evo runes/ shardborne souls/soul frags. Also colored soul frags, Lol awakening shard and light talis.

If your referring to the comment above, I actually said colored evo shards.... meaning color specific.
The Ravens Altar dungeon drops all 5 different colored evo shards needed to evolve characters and in huge amounts to Awaken LoL's, Raven witch, and D. Lilith. It also drops the 3* rainbow/colorless shards.... but these are pretty common.

The Lol dungeon has the rainbow/colorless 3* runes to evolve talis and cosmic talis.
Both dungeons are a "Hotbed" for those respective resources.

Btw.... when I first saw those terms on the forum, I thought the same as you, but figured it out eventually. It does kinda sound confusing, but I hope I made it clear for you.

LOL 14 you do get really decent rewards - loads of talisman for sure as I had to sell a load of them! I thin if you have the ironite and you want to awaken these two new dungeons are decent and worth doing. Not if you are tight for ironite though. Today I am mostly getting through 104 gold daily dungeon keys...at no real SoT cost to be honest. I never bothered with them so going to see how it goes burning through 100 of them!

I'm using him w/ Singularity along side W Lol w/ Vipers, Alex w/ Orbit and an Alchemist with that 2 set talis that won't let him use special or fury, so he's locked in to just basic move to cleanse each time.
I have like 85% defense, but most was probably lower than100 ranked. I've been hanging anywhere from 90 to 110.... just playing a few times a day. I'm so over the AI BS in arena.

But his Dark Ghosting and Doom are great.
I wish singularity was a 5 set, cuz he's not very durable w/ out a good cosmic.
I thought about going back to Malakhov but, I'm bored using the same old toons, even if they work....I like switching it up, just for fun.

But, yeah his pros are: use singularity, d. Ghost and doom.

Yes.... I fully agree. I opted for opening 3 Awakening souls instead and got a 5* plus extras.
Grinding LoL 14 is better if one could afford to.

This awakening crap is fun and challenging..... but seriously? the resource requirements are way too high.
Very, very few gamers will have maxed awakened toons anytime soon.

Besides with the AI being so jacked and broken in arena, once you finally get a fully Awakened toon, will it really change that much as far as competition.
I sometimes feel that with all the new toons and talis, awakened LoL, even getting all the relics...... my team gets destroyed more than ever in arena.

I agree. There really is little to no need to push for the new shiny thing all that much...but most of us do. I can grind and farm all day If I want to so that is never an issue for me but the new shiny should all be achievable over time for me anyway. Like the pay only characters - I can see why some want them to be exclusive to buyers but I do think they should be available for all at some point. But they have me with these as I want to get the Eddies and I can afford it so I do.

Also , I suppose they do nto want to say much about these pay only characters - if they were to say they will be available in the future they would not get the early birds liek me buying them so they are playing it the sensible commericial way I guess.

With the release of these awakenable toons I am about to call quits to the game. I have only been going through the motions the last few weeks and slowly falling behind. When the liliths and gods came out it seemed the distance between have and have nots was widening. Now the LoLs and such topped that. These are definetly for end gamers and serious grinders. Let's say you have 50 3* colored evo shards and no awakenable materials. What would it take in time and resources to fully awaken a toon? That's where many players are at, how can they save while having to evolve all the other toons.

I have alot of resources from when I took over, but without mega refills everyday it's hard to stay competitive. That doesnt count on the real money purchase only items. .

How much time and resources have each of the last dungeons cost? I know they are releasing these for long term players to stay interested, but it just causes bigger rifts as time goes by.

Yes. Imagine from the devs standpoint generating content to lure new players and retain old ones. Tough to give a balance for people with few resources something to participate in while not boring players with 300+ maxed sharded characters and all talismans. Awakening gives many of us something to do after you have every character and have done everything. I still love the game and want to continue, new content is appearing sparratically with event dungeons but they burn quickly. Now that we have new ultra powerful characters to Awaken it provides an objective for all the farming and expense. What does a player need a 999 stack of shards for? Good to have a use for all the built up resources, now if they only bring back the gold store...sitting on 250M+ and can't find a good use for it.
This arena event is set up great with challenges that require active strategizing rather than 400 wins and stretch goals that made arena events lengthy chores. Mega event is well constructed also, NF is doing a great job of generating interest for participation. Building suspense for what lurks behind the curtain we are eagerly awaiting the ultimate character in stage 3. And thanks for not NERFING anymore, making a countermeasure via new talisman or character hurts way less than reducing the strength of a character or talisman set we work hard to get and upgrade.

The game has been and is even more now - Very Obsessive...... it's like a life not a game. I know this, yet still partake. But one day soon I won't have so much time to burn, and I'll have to quit this habit.

I just took the last 4 or 5 days off from "playing" the grind. I ran low on ironite and needed to stock up. I played the Arena event instead and only did my daily skull quests and troopers i ran in Powerslave without buying any SoT. I dont feel I missed out on anything, I still was gaining resources thru the Arena rewards, and today I jumped right back in at farming 3* bricks in the Ravens Altar while knocking out more achievements. I have still awakened a character 21 times (the next Achievement is 30 BTW) and I still have tons of the white snow frags to buy more awakening materials if needed... I havent farmed LOL keys in a while as I think the Raven's Altar gives better rewards.

I really dont understand the complaints. Take a few days to restock, play minimal SoT in low cost dungeons, keep your troopers happy, and jump back in when ready.

At lower levels of Awakening, Lucifer, Cosmic LoL, Sentinel LoL, Gunner LoL, and Assassin LoL, are all not as good as Dark Lilith or the Warrior/Magus LoL’s. At max level, though, they are going to become unstoppable. Lucifer can remove any form of damage block (including Perfect Heal Shield) and his final passive leads me to believe he’s unkillable unless your team is heavily focused on stunning the enemies.

After that I brought back in Charlotte and it seemed OK the second time - may have been luck. Not sure there will be an auto team for this one - 14 is still fine for farming at least!

For anyone wondering, the bug is on level 15 stage 3.
The 2 Gunner Onyx Sons,
when the last one dies, the other revives.... repeat.
Silver such as perfect death and Doom bounce off.... does not stick. Magus LoL rolled right through them w/ KP.

Update: Sometimes the loop happens and M. LoL kills the onyx before ghost is applied, then Icarus Ed can use a special and Ghost him.
The major reasons to do this dungeon is for the necessary Awakening Shards to evolve a toon to max. I got one in the first 5 runs (much better than lvl 14), and the awakening frags drop as 15 instead of 10.

I seriously think it's bugged, cuz the gunner onyx twins somehow won't take certain silver debuffs... and it's not a passive ability.
I think we are all waiting for a fix. The only real reason to grind 15 is for the Awakening Shards needed to max the character. If you're not at that point, just grind 14 or less.

It's gotta be bugged, cuz the "ally" who dies to trigger passive should not be himself, plus the "random" ally who is revived should not be the same each alternating revive. If it's not bugged, then it's poor strategy design or the AI cheats w/ the word random.

I guess I am about done with the game for awhile. I am not impressed with the super grinds they require to awaken all the new OPs. I spent ironite and pulled Lucifer and comic LoL. I can buy 3 LoLs or 2 and some talisman, I have enough FC for the rest. I just lost the enthusiasm to continue the grind so they can just add another grind. My hamster wheel needs repair.

The RNG for the onyxs proved just as bad for me as with the liliths. I pulled a few good toons so I wont be totally left behind.

those reviving characters on stage 4 of lord of light XV are extremely annoying.

Only got past it by intentionally missing.

I had a character with Viper talismans, which put perfect bleed on them. Then I had the Angel of Death, who inflicts perfect death if the target has perfect bleed on them. But they would do so much damage that the target would die (and resurrect the other reviving character), before the perfect death was applied.

but by attacking and intentionally missing, and not getting a good or perfect attack, the perfect death effect was applied, allowing me to actually kill those characters.

But omg, is that ever a punishing stage for people - if you don't have the right handful of characters you are stuck and not going anywhere.

I was reading Lucifer's fury description. It shows he will revive a dead ally, not just an ally. That differs from charolette power move that revive an ally, which may or may not be dead. Next toon should revive an ally that can be revived, excluding doomed or perma-deathed allies. That would make it even a more reliable reviver.

Or they need a "Cremate dead enemies" ability.. which ensures all dead enemies can not be revived, even if they died without permadeath/perfect death/doom/ghost.dark ghost. But then.. they need some sort of tombstone marker where the character used to be to indicate it can not be revived.

Cremate may be adequate. Many have seen dead bodies drag themselves across the battlefield and attack. I dont know how to handle the invisible enemy with only thier buffs showing or a myriad of other strange phenomenons.

They could create a yeti or bigfoot toon that may or may not exist. They only leave footprints or bits of hair, they would have unknown abilities.

This is the team I have used - also had a variation of it as well that worked but I think you are right - this one is a little more reliable with most team members able to survive with decent HP left - I have had one fail so far where Eddie was taken out - thought did not seen how but it was final level.

I feel I need to share my current desperation and the ticket I just sent to NF (I will keep you informed if there is any response):

Dear Sam and all Nodding Frog,

I just finished opening 75 Nightmoon souls and the feeling I've got is one of a man totally beat down.

These souls were supposed to have double chance of 5* character (i.e. 2.54%), which, avareged, should have given me at least one 5* character per 50 souls. Well, it didn't, even after opening the 75 souls. OK, I understand that is "an average probability".

After opening these 75 souls, I've got about 6 or 7 (six or seven) 4* characters (don't remember exact number, as I was opening them in over a week period). But I opened the last 54 souls today and got only 4 or 5 (four or five) 4* characters. Out of these were two warrior Shardborns, the rest of the (total) given 4*s were 3* rubbish old characters.

And this is one of the two core problems:

a) These remaining 3* rubbish characters were primarily "the old ones" - those that are in game from the very beginning. I understand that you need to keep roster of old characters for the new players as well, but these could be easily summonable from the common "Rare" souls. The Event souls, on the other hand, should be of slightly higher value (not just considering that they even cost more Ironite in the Store, or are viable for real money). Therefore, they should consist of characters not older than e.g. 12 months. (3-*-5*).

b) The other problem is that the list of summonable 3*-5* characters (available in the roster for the given Event soul) gets longer and longer with each event and thus we have less and less chance of summoning a new character. E.g. - 12 months ago I had a much higher chance of pulling out a highlighted (event) toon (it doesn't matter if it is 3*, 4* or 5*) than I have today. If compared to situation (available roster) two years ago (or even three years ago, with the launch of the game), the situation is even more visible. There were limited numbers of 3*, 4* and 5* characters available from Rare or Event souls.

What good is it for us if we have double the chance (of almost nothing = nothing) to summon a 5* character, when there is already not a list of just e.g. three to five 5* characters, but instead, there are already 38 (!!!!) five stars characters, 100 four star characters (4*) and sixty 3* characters (current Striker soul roster) (if I counted it correctly on the small screen available). Even if we pull out a 5* character (the laws of average and probability seem not to work in players' favour here), there is a 71% (~27/38) chance that we will pull out a character that is more than 1 year old and most of us already have it. Should there not be the five brand new Football Eddies, the odds for a new 5* character would be even lower!

This is simply not acceptable, as it means an open mockery and straight-out-laugh to our faces - constantly swinging the odds to the favor of the company in time. No, I am not speaking about hard-to-prove issues like broken AI in the Arena, talismans not working, shift to pay to play strategy, etc. - this is pure math that can be verified by all players and you, developers, too.

Summary: Event souls should have limited roster of available characters (50% or less of today's numbers), they should consist only of "newer" characters and the inchreased chance of pulling out a 5* character should be 3-5% (I don't write that the chance should be trippled or quadrupled on purpose, as trippled or quadrupled zero is still zero).

I think we are 100 % the same on this. I also don't buy event souls, unless it is certain I will get the character from the fragments. I also seriously consider quitting and that's why I wanted Dark Lilith and now I am thinking about Lucifer. The same with sac event - I am waiting for the fabled Halloween sac event and then it is done.

We became too much of hampsters in a wheel in this game - constantly chasing any given "event" - and to what purpose? I don't have inventory/resources to play Gauntlet higher than "A" and even if I had - I wouldn't have the time to play it. The same goes for Arena. And to spin the hampster wheel only for a new collection? One out of 10 new toons may be a game changer, but there is zero to none chance I will pull it out from the given 10 event souls. And I don't have 5900 (6*900 + 5*100) Ironite per month to help me get those 750/750 event frags for a new character.

Segoy, I inherited this account from my uncle at the turn of the year. He accumulated a good amount of resources over that time. He played for about 11/2 years and seen the folly in the never ending chase, that's when I entered the chase. I have the toons/talis to be in the top 50-100 in arena and gauntlet, I just dont have the time or enthusiasm to compete.

I really enjoy the game, but if you dont want to spend money or even more time you will slowly fall behind. They throw so many new toons/talis it's difficult to fully try them out. The arena is just a slugfest of new OPs, with never ending bugs that benefit the opponents. I can deal with the gauntlet problems, a lot fewer matches with a better mix of opponents.

The scene they created for a grindathon to awaken characters put me at the precipitate of leaving.

If, at least, the music was better (edited). I mean - the themes and riffs are awesome (of course, coming from IM), but the overall music experience is horrible - loud bangs and change of music/style whenever you switch different "screen", initial "scream" at the beginning of the battle, etc. - I ended up running the game on silent (although I have the game running almost all day long due to grinds). It is just annoying - neverending loop of the same short samples. Now, if there was a longer/complex "soundtrack" that would play unchanged regardless of what you do on the screen (kind of as "Iron Maiden radio") - that would be an awesome thing!

My comparison to a casino wasn't regarding "chance percentages".... it was comparing greedy, cheating, business practices, and preying on the hopes of others. I don't gamble.... it's a method setup to enrich one side and destroy the other.... kinda like banking.

But you and others bring up a great point of the ever increasing pool of obsolete toons from which we have a fraction of a percent chance to get the "new latest and greatest."


As yup said maybe we need a cremate skill to fully kill someone, but I dont know how you would cremate a ghost. Wait until we have zombies and only head shots will kill them. So we may need a fury they delivers head shots then cremates the bodies.

I've given up on red eyes with event souls. I've only gained Lamia, Cosmic LoL and Magus Shardborn from fragments. I've also noticed the old toons change from 2* up to 4*, which isn't right. A common soul toon shouldn't be available via an event soul. I believe this is being done to water the pool down to make it near impossible to get the event toon. In the football event souls I've only seen corrupt rescuers and worms and soldiers. Like I said in another post. I'm on the blue eyes wagon with no way off for the foreseeable future.

If, at least, the music was better (edited). I mean - the themes and riffs are awesome (of course, coming from IM), but the overall music experience is horrible - loud bangs and change of music/style whenever you switch different "screen", initial "scream" at the beginning of the battle, etc. - I ended up running the game on silent (although I have the game running almost all day long due to grinds). It is just annoying - neverending loop of the same short samples. Now, if there was a longer/complex "soundtrack" that would play unchanged regardless of what you do on the screen (kind of as "Iron Maiden radio") - that would be an awesome thing!
If you go to settings and turn off either just the music or both the music and the sound effects maybe down halfway and play Maiden (or whatever) in the background it’s not as monotonous. The game does work nicely with other music playing apps. I personally turn the sound effects down about halfway and listen to music and they blend in well.

I like to leave a little of the sound effects audible, so if my auto-farming hangs on a full inventory, etc. I'll notice the noise is missing.

Certain sections would play the same guitar solos all the time. It made me wonder if Adrian & Dave ever thought while recording them, that people would hear them a billion times over.

It's weird now when listening to albums, then that part of the song that you've heard in arena or gauntlet plays, and you get a little stressed or your mind starts thinking game strategy.

I listen to new dungeon music to see what they are using when something new happens but other than that I listen to my music through an amp and speakers, not through iPhone (though if I am doing some manual battles I sometimes stick in the headphones (maiden ones of course LOL) if out and about!

I also turned down music and effect sounds after the first few weeks of playing. My mobile has sh!tty boxes and, honestly, this redundant sounds drive me crazy! Sometimes I switch the sound back on if there is a new dungeon or so but that's it. Playing on mute but having maiden blasting on the 5.1 surround system is much better in my opinion :)

So right. Best soundtrack for many reasons. Satanic violent destructive lyrics mixed with invigorating powerful sound. I always liked Iron M because the songs had history involved, like ancient mariner tale, Egypt Powerslave, Alexander the Great. It was like learning things in a fun format for the 80's stoner who rarely attended class. Slayer has always been my favorite band, and oddly enough their lyrics apply to the Legacy subject matter very well and the thrashing sound really makes it better than the in game background tunes. Like watching MTV with the sound off and playing an album you love for the sound instead.

I would suggest looking at your 3* evo shards.... which ever color you have the most of, get that toon, then you can evolve him the quickest.

Yes, I bought those, too (1 set of each). I have currently 2434 Fallen angel frags left. Overaly, I pulled out two G LOLs, bought 1 Cosmic LOL. I am thinking about buying W LOL and the rest of the shards will go either to Vipers of Celestial.

This is the question i'd like to get good answer too. I have grinded LoL dungeons XI and XII so far.

I wouldnt bother farming them. Its more important to farm the 4 and 5 * colored and colorless.

For the 1* I just used whatever I got while running the LOL XI-XV and bought the rest in the "specials" tab in the store. You use the awakening frags to buy them and the 1 & 2* packs only cost 200 frags. Way easier and cheaper than trying to farm them. Also, the awakening frags drop from the LOL and Ravens Altar dungeons in bulk. Ive spent 1000's of the frags and I still have a few thousand left.

Look closely at what each of the packs gives you. They all give some amount of colorless and then each of the packs is color coded as well.

After many hours spent on the event, I don't know how many sands of time and soul fragments I got TWO Lord of Light Soul.. Assassin TWICE!.... Are we serious?? Twice the same?!?! On this type of souls there must be something that avoid you to pick up the same character. I really cannot accept this it's absolutely frustrating! If there is a reason that will drive me to leave the game is this one...

That's the game, just get used to pulling dupes in events like this. In the lilith event the first 10 were either red or blue. It took 17 lilith souls to get all five.

With the shardborne out of 7 souls 5 blue and 2 red. Got green with green frags no yellow or purple.

You are more likely to pull dupes repeatedly than get each individual. Many will confirm these findings.

I did get lucky and pulled 3 different soccer Eddie's and bought the second 2 before pulling dupes from souls.

I totally understand. I am in the same situation. I pulled two gunner LOLs - in pulls being done in two different weeks. I completely back you up on these. There should be some anti-dupe mechanism.

Then claim that they read all of these forums and pay attention to what are the main concerns of the players... To admins: I am sorry I just don't believe these false promises for already a long time, now.

I was lucky enough to get Lucifer via event souls (around 40-50) as well as a magus Onyx son. I got a warrior Onyx son from the onxy soul and the sentinel LOL from a 2nd LOL soul so luckily no dupe. Bought Gunner and Assassin LOLs with frags (in case G and A class are more expensive like Osiris and Set turned out to be) leaving Warrior and Cosmic to purchase with FC.

Email support. They are supposed to fix that at the event end.

I had 950 fallen angel frags yesterday. I was waiting on some funds that never came through (was gonna buy 3x $10 paks for 600 more frags).... at 5 mins before reset, I settled for the Celestial talis and a cosmic rune.
I'm still trying to accept that. I was so close to a 4th LoL.

It would be cool if the Satellite 15 continued to give frags, 6 months from now u could get another LoL.
