Activating Past or Future versions of Eddie

I am loving this game but when it comes to Activating Past or Future Versions of Eddie, I've done it in the past without knowing how so there is a way to use Past or Future versions of EDDIE. So does anyone know HOW??

I just got my Pharaoh Eddie to 5 Stars (my first 5 Star Eddie /bows thank you thank you /grin) I have many Eddie's with Skilled Up Abilities and no way of knowing how to ACTIVATE PAST AND-OR FUTURE Versions of EDDIE.

PLEASE AND THANK YOU For Any Information I can Get !!!!

You must SWIPE right or left when Eddie is chosen. Swipe right to activate Past and left for Future. The scene color also changes.
