Awakening Not Working

Dunno if anyone is having this issue, but my awakening of the Wicker Wolf Evolved isn't taking effect. I have the gold and materials. The animation takes effect, 1 purple star becomes 2. Then I get the "dreaded" 7 Deadly Gifts screen and everything resets; getting back my gold and materials... Anyone else?

Raven's Altar Dungeon... go to your ACHIEVEMENTS tab and scroll down to see requirements...
