Oni Eddie is making his Legacy of the Beast debut!

Cut enemies down to size with lethal precision. Oni Eddie is a 5★ Assassin who deals magic damage and can remove a variety of beneficial effects. His Fury attack removes negative effects from allies, deals out MASSIVE damage to a single target and places Oni Eddie’s sword in an Empowered State. While Empowered Oni Eddie will continue to remove negative effects, grant Ascension and Magic Penetration to allies, and will even revive fallen teammates with full health!

From now until November 11th, 4 PM PT, wield your sword and prepare to conquer the Crimson Blades dungeon! This Dungeon comes with 4 difficulty settings and is packed with awesome rewards!

The first time you complete Normal, Hard or Madness, you will be granted with set rewards including Demonic Souls and Yin Talismans. Beat Insanity to earn a host of other rare set rewards including a Catalyst Soul, T3 Evo Runes and Talisman Epic Soul Fragments. All subsequent victories are guaranteed to provide rare Assassin Soul Fragments, as well as a chance of up to 2 bonus rewards, including Eclipse Talismans.

Demonic Souls can be earned in one of three ways:

Earn them as first time completion rewards in the Normal, Hard and Madness levels of the Crimson Blade Dungeon
Complete Event Challenges! Getting 200 fragments will earn you a Demonic Soul, with up to 10 Souls that can be earned from challenges over the course of the event.
Get Demonic Souls in store for Ironite in the usual bundle sizes of 1, 3, or 10.

In addition to Demonic Soul Fragments, completing event challenges will grant various other rewards, including Ironite, Frontier Coins and Yang Talismans!

Yang Talismans are yellow Talismans with a 3-set effect. Equip them to gain Immunity to Permadeath, Perfect Death, and Crave effects. The wearer of these talismans will take 50% Reduced damage and heal all allies for 1,000 points of health when you take damage if the Yin Talisman set effect is also active on the wearer.

Demonic Soul Details

The Demonic Soul is a limited time event soul which guarantees a 3★ to 5★ character of any class. This soul has an increased chance of summoning Oni Eddie, Ingami Dog Spirit, Irigami Dog Spirit, Samurai Emperor Eddie, Samurai Eddie, Musashi, and the 5 classes of Shinobi. This Soul also has an exclusive chance of summoning Mitsuko, Cosmic Shinobi!

Each Demonic Soul summoned will also grant the following bonus rewards:

10 Mitsuko, Cosmic Shinobi Soul Fragments
10 Oni Eddie Soul Fragments (Assassin)
10 Ingami Or Irigami, Dog Spirit Soul Fragments (Sentinel or Gunner)

Event seemed decent enough...until I got to insanity. First wave is literally impossible without a max awakened Dark Lilith because the 2 Wolves with braves keep reviving each other infinitely. Not fun at all.

EDIT: Got reminded that Braves don't prevent perfect death so using that, I made it through insanity. Still, those tallies shouldn't work that way.

Since realistically you will have to buy souls to earn the new toons, yes toons make money. Only 10 chances to earn them by grinding without allowing any more to be earned is definetly a money grab.

It's actually more than 10. which is RARE...

Oni Ed dropped for me from the 3 souls awarded after the first round of Madness... so nothing to do with achievements... that's 3 souls that aren't shown in the event tab. But that's the first and only time anything like that has ever happened for me. Most often, I need the frags.. or if a character is going to drop.. it'll drop when I'm 10-40 frags short of just buying it with frags.

They do typically set things up so if you want the top character, in this case the Cosmic Shinobi... you need to spend roughly $200 US for ironite to get enough souls to collect to have 750 frags.... So that cost decreases for any ironite you may already have or any frags you can get from soul drops from event achievements.

----- I ran it with Van Helsing once... Oni Dropped from the souls.. I switched to Oni wearing Alchemy talismans.... But Van Helsing didn't have a problem with it. Also started with Lycra which worked, but then moved to Dark Lilith to end the runs faster. Also ran with A Heirophant without issues.

Raven Witch was used primarily to remove yellow buffs (Immortality) but some other character to do that would work just as well.

In terms of attack.. it's not that difficult. it's the buff management that is the primary issue I found. Lots of invisibility, Invincibility, and immortality on enemies.

Then we could actually have a reason to use the hard earned new toons.

At this point, it's just a "chasing your tail" kind of game, to collect digital characters.

The "only" use for them is to use the new toons in the next gauntlet or next dungeon, in order to collect even newer toons.

Just when you catch up and take a sigh of relief, the next wave hits you and pulls you under.

I've paused grinding for awakening the LoL's in order to stay on top of the latest events.

So overwhelmed and losing my ability to care about this "bad addiction" any more. I'm feeling more and more like an idiot.
I see now why everything is a "Dungeon".... cuz it's such torture to keep grinding them!

Alexander - orbits
Lucifer - reaper, cosmic, random yellow
Sekhmet - trooper, cosmic
Charlotte - viper, cosmic
Took 8 minutes because of the first wave, but they all lived.

On Bakuras comments, I totally agree buddy, the game really is reaching the point where money or not you just can’t have it all, there reaches a point where all those newly gathered characters need to be powered up, the Talisman they wear need powering up, not to mention skill shards, what characters others gathered on the last event that I missed, this time I might be lucky like Yup and jag the latest Eddie.

Hopefully all but the shadow Eddies will show up on the heroic soul rotation sooner or later, so I guess it is up to us to find something else in the game that’s entertaining for us.

I have had a couple of big rants lately on all these subjects, it all depends on how my days been when I burn my dollars for nothing but rubbish.
I think I’ll take a back seat like Muzzleloader and just work with what I’ve got, If it’s truly worthwhile I may still dust the cobwebs from my wallet, but lately the odds are just too slim of jagging the latest thing, for the sake of the Irons and my love of everything Iron Maiden I’ll hang in there, but at my pace not theirs!

On Insanity Level
I did this manually, we only have to do it 15 times to get the goodies, I might be discovering things here that is common knowledge but permadeth doesn’t appear to work on the two dogs, I was not willing to wait things out after the opposite dog revived several times I flicked it and tried something new.
So what got me through it was a fully awakened lord of light but I’d say any stage lol will be fine, Phantom Eddie worked for me somehow.. I have all the Warrior Eddies pretty well but he did the job with Alex riding passenger, Chopper has permadeth just in case... and Charlotte with Trooper Talisman the various Talisman on all of these characters were nothing special if any one really wants to know have a look at my team.
Hope it helps btw maxed relics as well but most of you are there by now anyway.. Cheers

Brave set gives immunity to Doom, curse and Permadeath. So Permadeath is useless. The dogs have strange AI, every time they are targeting Malakhov. So for 15 minutes i cannot use its power ability. Seems Brave give also Immunity to Perfect Death. So it is absolutely impossible to do warrior challenge.

Once again the artwork is really great in this dungeon!
Eclipse are outdated, it's time to change to other talis in my opinion. The classic 10 event souls are a joke of course, but "feel free" to smash hundreds of bucks to get the event character. On the other hand I am happy that this won't be another stupid all-day grind like for van Helsing! I did not have enough time and ended 2 (!!) souls short. "Had to buy" the remaining frags with real cash and feel like a moron now because of that. I am not even familiar with the abilties of the warewolfs, the onyx, shardbornes etc., but yet the next bunch of characters arrives. And of course without an increase in character (and talis) slots in the inventory. I will never undestand that extreme rush and pace of new stuff while there is no time to enjoy the things we got the week before. At least only 1 character is event soul exclusive. But of course I feel stupid now that I have opened 14 mystic souls yesterday (to get 8 cosmics in total, all T2, at least one red with immunity) while it could have given me a new character today. But that's the usual way in this "game" - do something today and feel stupid because of it the day after.
I only did the sentinel challenge yet, gunner comes next. But from what I read here, insanity will be a pain again with these stupid brave talis. But as said before, luckily, this time we don't need to play insanity a bazillion of times.

I used the following team for Warrior:

Alexander with Trooper and cosmic
WLOL Max Awakened with Vipers and T3 Cosmic
Wicker Wolf Evolved Max Awakened with Orbits
Malakov with Alchemy and Cosmic

Not done it on auto yet but works fine on manual for me.

EDIT: you can still get a character death though on last level though as I just found out - still beat the level but not the event target of no loses!

I have to admit though in the insanity level they gave us - why just mimic what was a 'bugged' LOL XV level talisman loop that annoyed the hell out of folk? Why just rinse and repeat for this - are all of the devs tough levels going to be based on the same thing where there are like only a few teams that can actually do it - you have to wonder if that is what they wanted to do or why do it in this way? It is either lazy level design or a 'we found a way to stop lots of folk doing this level so lets copy it' approach - if that is there intention then they have succeed as it is a pretty daft loop if you cant get rid of them quick.

Saying that maybe Dark Lilith or Lucifer make it easy - I do not know cause not got either of them yet. I know when I went with my standard non-Warrior team it was fine to auto using my three maxed LOLs and Van Helsing…..maybe the Warrior level is supposed to be a pain in the ass to do! It is insanity so I guess it may be designed this way so only a smallish % can actually do it.

edit: Did a couple of runs now, SE doesnt stop the loop, Malakhov does. But so far after 5 runs still able to finish without defeat. However... sometimes Malakhov kills himself without being able to revive, so its not a 100% count for the achievement.

I beat the 15 Warrior-only Insanity with Lucifer (Max awakened) with a Cosmic Echo talisman so he gets extra turns. If you kill the dogs both at the same time.. they won't revive each other. I had to run it manually but it worked. I still think it's really stupid to create this loop every new dungeon they make, and to then assign a class-only achievement where no character in the class can cast dark ghost or perfect death.. just more annoying. What assholes.

Another thing that could have been more player friendly: giving frags for Emperor per event soul. Emperor showed up 3 times now. For the 2nd time he got new frags instead of adding them to the old ones. This time, no frags at all. It is a missed chance for another long-term goal to get that Eddie. I mean come on...even if it were the same frags in all events, we would be at 360/500 frags now (I kept the old frags). But surprise, surprise, this is not player friendly. Since NF became Navigator, they are on a different road obviously.

It is unfortunate that in a dreadful inventory system that is already considerably overwhelmed with item-specifc upgrade materials.. they introduce MORE very specific upgrade materials. I mean seriously, is there some reason the Shinobi can't merely use the same gunner materials that the LOLs use??? They seem to make thing complex and convoluted just for the sake of doing it.

The new dungeon looks beautiful, great job on that. As usual, RNG is a cruel mistress and I haven't gotten anything good from the event souls. Honestly, the dungeon is worth playing more for the rare assassin souls which are typically pretty rare. I hope I can get Oni Eddie (or maybe the werewolf) off one of them, I could really use some more Assassins for Gauntlet.

Got through Insanity once and that was enough. The rewards aren't even that good for doing it 15 times. I'll be in a nursing home before I have enough stuff to fully awaken any character so what's the rush?

BUT.. if you get lucky enough to pull the Cosmic Shinobi you are going to want that awakening rune for 15 Warrior runs. I agree, overall the rewards for grinding Insanity are junk. I Did 15 Warrior, then moved back to Madness.

Lucifer gets 2 or 3 turns thanks to the Cosmic.. Start round 1 with his power move... kills them all basically.. wolves revive and usually 1 or 2 of the Shinobis as well. If Lucifer gets another turn, basic move to hit one of the wolves, which will kill it, triggering Lucifers secondary true damage hit, killing all others. Done. If one or both of the wolves revive with Invisibiltiy (which happens) Use Alex to remove it first, then hit again with Lucifer. If Lucifer does not get a second turn... hit with Wicker Wolf, that will typically kill both wolves again.

For the last Battle, the Evolved Wicker Wolf's power move will clear all the defensive buffs on Oni Ed.. if Lucifer doesn't.. making him an easy kill.

Charlotte is ONLY there to prevent any INITIAL infliction of a silver buffs on start of battle.. after that Lucifer will clear them.

This really is showing how the rift between have and have nots is widening in the game. Many dont have Lucifer or even wicker wolf let alone having already maxed them. Without the OPs you just may fall further behind.

With the release of more awakenable toons it will become even more prelavent. I am not complaint since if I wanted I could be farther along in awakenables. I am just stating for newer players pay up or never catch up.

I like the advice on killing both dogs at the same time if possible, if that fails exit and start again. Our time is more valuable than being stuck in navigators shitty loop.

I agree Muzzle.. it is the nature of these "fremium" apps that if you don't have what was released last month or last week, you will have trouble next week. But.. once you get caught up, it's much much easier to stay caught up. Since I started before most of the major characters in use today were released, it's easier for me to focus on acquiring the newer characters. Which in turn makes the next event easier. But.. starting today.. or last week, or last month.. it's an impossibility. New players can never hope to be up to date. The sheer mountain of achievements needed for Dark Lilith and Lucifer make that clear. Even if one were to spend thousands of real dollars today, you couldn't be caught up. I mean what 15 character last month.. and already 4 this month and it's only 5 days in.

Only losing charolette once on the last wave which didnt count to ward the acheivement.i didnt watch them, but I think the major was the key to victory. I may have been lucky and havent got caught in the doggy trap.

Many still dont have the major which he has been invaluble many times since. For many it is becoming a real choice on who to go after while falling behind.

Woke up 4hours later still fighting wolves FML ���������� only time server didn't get funny in any 4hour stretch. Beat them once by murdering them both at the same time but didn't clear the 2nd wave. I don't have any of the tali's or Alex or shamen, been playing for like 4months or so . It's like a second job I pay to work at. Thanks for another sands and ironite sucking dungeon so much for dedication and loyalty or we would get daily rewards every day why is it only 24days ? I wonder if any of the devs actually play the game or if the band plays the game, if they do I bet they can just get whatever they want to anyway so they don't have to grind like the rest of us I'm sure that's the case. I believe they're intentionally making nearly impossible goals so they don't have to pay out and give us the good stuff just take our money and run.

Yes and sometimes Doom would appear on the Dogs after Sekhmet Fury. Mostly Major will use power move and hit them will Perfect Death then they can be killed. it can happen fast or can happen slow. Lot of odd times when I was doing it on auto. Some as long as 8 minutes.

What an extremely boring a.f dungeon!! Why do the devs not find an interesting way of delivering events instead of these stupid arse grinding sessions that are not in any way fun? I made the mistake of spending real money in the last event because they incorrectly showed 3 days remaining on the dungeon when it was only 1 day to go (should have gone by the challenges timer).. that dungeon was a boring a.f grind also. I certainly will not be spending any real money again until they can deliver some content that is worth wasting time on.... I won't hold my breath.

I did a run with NotB Eddie with charlotte, LOL and major. NotB eddie's power move kills them BEFORE he can inflict perfect death. So gonna have to wait after first turn to use Major's power move next time. I got through it but what a pain in the arse. I will try swapping to Alex + Shaman for next attempts but gonna give it some time. Like 3-4 runs a day until its done. Not sure I could auto it as I still have a handful of relics to go. But end of the day I am not that fussed if I even do it. Just sticking to normal getting through my troopers using the bare minimum resources to complete the remaining number of runs challenges.

If I picked up this game today as a new player, not sure how long I would last. A week, a month?

I had NotB Eddie and they seemed to go for him or Major. As Major is fairly new to me (been slack/unmotivated for most fc dungeons) I never actually used his power move. It was dogs killing him that inflicted perfect death and then I was able to move on, it was a big loop before that. Most peeps are mentioning the power move so I assumed using it sooner was the key.

Hmm, even using my trooper's strong Assassin Eddies (Gamblers and Beasts mostly), I don't think I'm going to be able to get the 15 Madness runs. My own assassin allies (Lamia, The Count, Warlord) aren't good enough, or don't have the right talisman slots to survive in there. Can manually beat it with my regular mixed team, so at least got the 1st clear rewards. Will probably end up buying that 15 achievement talisman for ironite, which is never a good feeling.

Had really hoped my work in awakening my W.LoL to the first level, and getting a set of Orbits in the recent fragment event, would have helped more. It has been a huge power boost in other parts of the game for me, but these dungeons are really not low/mid-player friendly.

I put snow talismans on NotB and it was quite easy (that dogs will other way stun and taunt Eddie for very very long time ) as long NotB will not kill dog using Ritual it is doable even on later turns.

I found that team pretty reliable on auto with the Heirophant in place of Malakhov (I don't have him). Same talisman sets. Doesn't always work though.

I did the warrior challenge manually with NotB, LoL, Charlotte and Pope. Glad I'm done with it. Really annoying that this revive loop was there again. As Yup said, looks like they used a bad template. I am disappointed that they show so little love for these details.
Apart from that I saw a lot of bugs and different visual glitches like one of the gunner wolfs showing up in every wave on the right side, an enemy that was located directly in front of my team, attacks going nowhere, characters jumping out of the screen, a tree popping up from nowhere, a blue plane going through the scene...
Sad how you can ruin an otherwise beautiful dungeon like that. Will the devs eventually come to the conclusion that a lot of things are released here too fast and only half-finished? Please don't forget, the game only exists because there is Iron Maiden! And what do they stand for? Extremely high quality!

That permadeath does not work is correct, the Brave Talisman they doggos have prevents that. You need Perfect Death. However, I still saw them revive sometimes and then there is still the red ninja girl... in cases like that you can just ragequit the run, as there seems to be no way to solve that, as attacks that apply perfect death usually deal damage and kill the dog and perfect death is not accounted for then. One of the new characters has a passive skill to apply perfect death, this might be the best solution, but I don't have that character and sofar I just farm madness.

You must kill both wolves at the same time in the first wave. You must use a good heavy multi hitter to pass wave one. It one wolves is close to dying and you have a single hitter go for something besides wolves. If you kill them both at the same time, then when they revive you can kill them seperately.

We did also have the D-Day Dungeon (forgot the name) where you grinded for bomber boy frags

This isnt a grinding event for a specific toon since no frags drop. If you are not one of the chosen, you buy events souls or do without. With the drop rate from event souls it's a joke to think many will pull him without purchasing event souls. Add the insane wolves just for fun.

I think it’s moot at this point, since there’s an update going on right now (Ceeg emailed me back and said they were fixing it today or tomorrow) but I found that after three wins, using the “kill both at one time” method, force quit and reload the game works. Anything over three in a row and you get the loop. Not sure if it’s bullshit or not, but it worked for me.

I also want to say that Ceeg (Andy) was quick to respond to my over-the-top complaint, called me out for being a douche (in a respectful way), which I admired and appreciated, and then made me whole. I don’t realize that there are people just like you and me on the other end — it’s easy to forget that, and rant like a 5 year old lunatic, when it’s just my phone screen between us. I dunno. Anyway, hats off to Ceeg for being the consummate professional, because I definitely wouldn’t have been.

Well until someone can confirm the hotfix has worked I'm sticking to doing normal runs. Had that much trouble yesterday as I swear perfect death wasn't being applied with any consistency that I am def over the warrior challenge for awhile. If I did somehow manage to get past the first wave and avoid the loop, at times I used Major's power move to take out Oni in one hit but he wouldn't revive so the run didn't count. Stuck at 2/15 at the moment. This month is off to a flying start when it comes to cock ups.

Update: Well even doing runs on normal is an issue even. The screen has gone blank except for this weird thing where an image of Eddie's head flashes occasionally in the bottom left hand corner. :/

got through most of the challenge using malakhov and notb eddie (w charlotte and lol for the ride). Did have the odd extended loop where I had to manual past the doggies. Have done a few since the hotfix and insanity is easy to grind now.

Whether its worth it is the big question....

Youre forgetting that the story takes some time and is pretty exciting to work through. Then you've got modes up to madness and when you first start, there a soooo many new characters to get that most rare souls will mean something new to work on.

I decided to do the Warrior Insanity challenge tonight.
I did 1 manual using Shaman Ed .... he sucked.
So I switched to Alexander Ed ..... did all auto.
No deaths 100 % survival w/ near full health.
Malakhov never did his special attack.
Dracula's passive cleanses debuffs, silver too, when perf. bleed from Reapers & Vipers was present on enemy.

I did not have an issue with the Gunner wolves.
Maybe the hotfix solved it.
I did notice the Procyon G. wolf reviving when the round was finished, but my team just ran past him to the next stage.
Procyon & Magus Shinobi are bugged.
Either one would show up in in the next stage. Procyon wouldn't attack , but M. Shinobi did.
Procyon G. Wolf would show up even to the final stage. Atleast he was no bother.

Youre forgetting that the story takes some time and is pretty exciting to work through. Then you've got modes up to madness and when you first start, there a soooo many new characters to get that most rare souls will mean something new to work on. Also, earning all the basic Talisman sets from BNW. That doesn't happen overnight. Working your way up to LoL X on auto, earning XI-XV keys. Playing thought the difficulty levels of Daily and Weekly dungeons. There's enough to do that new players have to start deciding how much $$$ to spend on Ironite, before "event dungeons" are even on the radar. I know because I was just there, not too long ago. Also, soul drops can be exciting for a really long time, when you don't already have every Eddie and all the cool toons. Working your way up the PvP arena is also really fun in the lower ranks. Seeing how far you can get in the Gauntlet and what your weak classes are. And basically anything that you can just barely win, on manual.

I'm doing all that playing Raid: Shadow Legends.
After 14 months, many hours per day, mucho $ playing Lotb, starting from scratch in another game is brutal. I'm just cheating w/ Raid to make me appreciate Lotb again.

Lotb has way better battle gameplay, but the other has better graphics throughout.
These games seem to all have the same basic things like common, rare, epic, legendary souls. Also armor or relics & talisman. Gold/ Silver for every action. Daily rewards, achievements, arena, clans, forum & chat rooms.

I've got too much invested here to ever want to start over again.

But yeah, I remember first starting out.
After a month or so playing Lotb, in Arena I came across the infamous Stormseye.
So I played him to see what a top 100 player was like.
Charlotte was brand new.
As the 2nd one to attack, she did her special and destroyed my whole team.
I learned right then what having all the relics can do.
I now know what that feels like. Relics are everything!

Not that I need another set, but after 465 runs I haven't had a single Eclipse Talisman drop. Rewards don't seem great for this dungeon, normal mode seems to give back SOT at an ok rate. Madness gives awakening soul frags, decent ironite return and a few other useful things from time to time. And the assassin frags really pile up, but I would be bummed with the talisman drop rate if this was a set I wanted. I just want to get my 800 runs done to claim the demonic souls.

Next day dropped a "rare soul" for daily achievements and pulled an Assassin Werewolf. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The fact he removes everything, even shroud... then he takes no silver debuffs, removes every type of neg from the whole team, and you can use any kind of talis on him, makes him unique.

You never know when you might use both at the same time, for a certain achievement or challenge.

I got my first one last year at this time.
I could have never placed 2nd and 3rd consecutively in arena without him.

I obviously really like this toon.
I think he is highly underrated!!!

I thin I have about 5 of him - maybe more as I got several in the Halloween event. And yes I will likely keep a team of three - they can be a pretty nasty and there skill sets are very useful to have.....I wonder how good they might get when they become awakenable?

On this event so far I have only got 3 * drops so same old same old for me in event soul luck - still got lots of battles to do in it but not sure I will bother as the Eddie seems a bit shite and the other characters I think you can get from souls too...and well I am just a but underwhelmed by this event to ne honest though I like the dungeon - pretty cool looking but then most of the new levels are pretty cool looking.

If you already have Gambler, Beast and Liliths, you have to go after the Killer Prime. I asked that same question not so much time ago and KP is worth every penny.

Other good characters: Alexander and Killer Prime, maybe Ferryman but he is not that essential I'd say.
If you want to have Dark Lilith and Lucifer, you will need to buy the LoLs, max them and play the LoL Dungeon with all of them!
The egypt gods are also ok, all of them have their part to shine, but I would not see them as important as they were a year ago.

Not having great luck. Again.
Didn't get anything useful directly from the Demonic souls themselves. Grinding for the Assassin frags got me about 65 souls so far. No event toons from those, but filled in 4 or 5 missing assassin chars. I've only been at this a few months so it's kinda useful to be getting those. After opening that last 50 Assassin and sacrificing all dups I ended up with an extra soul from somewhere, don't recall what kind, that gave me one of the event pups. Not sure if I'll purchase any more event souls for the 900 shards. Did that once and got jack, but have 260 of the needed frags needed for guaranteed toons and have a few days yet.
It is just so hard to catch up if you started late.

Deathdealer, with all but one of the event toons in the general soul drops why did you sacrifice all your sac fodder? There will be a sac event soon so it may have been better to wait and see if there were any good extras in the sac event. It is always difficult to decide to go for something now or wait and see if something better comes along.

Finished the 800 runs and only pulled 1 eclipse talisman. Not a big deal because I have 4 sets already. I got really lucky with demonic souls and pulled Mitsuko.

Finally hit the 15 Assassin Madness clears today, thanks to my wonderful troopers! Van Helsing Eddie was an absolute star. The first wave with the five Shinobi was the difficult part. I'd played around with Starfires, which would remove all their beneficial effects and disable their passives when my toon inevitably died on their first attack, but the purple shinobi applies Perfect Death with their basic attack. Which obviously ruined the run. Van Helsing can clear Perfect Death, although his passive meant my Starfires would never be able to explode, those two safe turns were usually enough to take out two shinobi, yhanks to another character with Singularities, and VH's basic that deals extra damage to un-debuffed characters. The other four levels were a walk in the park, VH 1-2 shot almost everything else. So glad I made it in time!

Got a regular Samurai Eddie from a demonic. Will hit the 200 run achievement and probably call it a day.
