Master keys question

I have 7 but never opened one - do these award a random key you can use later or immediately open a random dungeon?

So it drops another key soul? Does it count as a soul use for daily achievements? I was worried it dropped a key and that dungeon opened immediately! If it doesnt, then Im just going to open one when I dont have any other souls I want to use!

It merely drops more keys. Nothing will open automatically. essentially a master key simply gets exchanged for a random dungeon key, that's all.

all the other keys count towards the daily requirement, so i assume master does also. I havent tried to be sure though.

Just opened all 12 of mine and no frozen wasteland keys have dropped

These are called master Keys but I am not sure they will drop all dungeon keys. I think I have opened 10 now and only seen viral, trooper, talisman, and infernal dungeon keys drop. Considering I have completed the viral and trooper dungeons this kind of stinks. I’d prefer to see some gangland or labrynith keys.

Nice to know what it is now because I have three and haven't used any yet. Was worried it was going to open some insane random dungeon where I shouldn't even bother as I'd get my butt handed to me.

It just gives you a key for another dungeon. It does not open the dungeon when claimed.

Beware!

Master key opened a dungeon right away 2 times for me: one time it was Powerslave and today it has been Samurai... Honestly, it sucks to have to rush a team to start playing an unknown dungeon... :mad: I lost at least 15 minutes only setting it up. I only wanted to see if Mayan key would drop but now, I don't want to open remaining ones...

Looks like the newest keys are automatically opened.

That has never happened to me before. That was before either of those dungeons were released. I didnt think they were supposed to open a dungeon when the key was claimed in the BoS.

I think it's only with newest keys because I've pulled older keys that didn't opened the dungeon. (I think it's a bug)
