this has been done previously on other eddies, pharaoh being the first time. the skills and stats are the same at lvl 100. the difference is one will work in a rarity/#star only dungeon, and the sacrifice value.

Was going to ask about this, as I thought Viking was a natural 5 star, and without clarification, I'd still assume Viking can't be used for star-restricted levels. There have been other examples of characters being given/sold at lower *s than their normal, without changing their natural rating. Unlike Pharaoh Ed who was patched down to a 4* right?
