I have 3000 frontier coins, now the beast is awakenable should I buy him or one of the LOLs as I don't have any yet?

Depends on what character and Talismans you have
(Also wait until the Cyber Monday dungeon starts as the lols may be useful for the colour specific runs)

Honestly, I'd do Magus LoL before Beast. Beast was mildly annoying to wake, since he requires more money & materials. If you don't have Cosmic Shinobi, MLoL is easily the best toon to carry celestials unless you need the immunities that CLoL provides. So I'd go that route if I were you.

Hands down Warrior Lord of Light.
I have him maxed. He has taken my arena team to new levels.
I have won battles with him just counterstriking on his own.

He hits all enemies hard, he reduces Hp every hit, he cannot be stunned, his passive when maxed counterstrikes when allies are attacked.
With Viper talis and a good Cosmic, he is the last to die on my team.
Look at the top 50 arena players.... he's the most popular LoL.

Killer Prime & Gambler Eddie are must haves for FC too.

I do have Beast awakened level 8, but he is not as durable as W. LoL.
I would not, nor do others really use Beast in arena/pvp.
