I made this post like an idea to have every bugged character in one place, also it might be for talisman sets not working properly or misleading/wrong/not clear char information.

Also, I´m doing this as a "catharsis" after so many things going so wrong and random at the arena xD

Be free to add your suggestions. Maybe someday we´ll have solutions for this or any info about this from Devs.

CALAMITY (passive) "Prevent enemies from Reviving" // Issue: After she dies, hers passive keep preventing enemies from Reviving. Also reports of her passive working unproperly or being incoherent against another Liltih Nightmoon in game


-RAVEN WITCH (Awakened)

RAVISH "Remove all Golden effects minus shroud from each enemy" // [I]Issue: She doesn´t seem to clear any Golden in any scenario or is only removing some offensive buffs DEVS UPDATE: "Fix for skill not properly removing all golden effects minus shroud"


-VAN HELSING EDDIE

SILVER CROSS "Heal 25% of your MAX HP and revive a random ally after each action." // Issue: Even if stunned, slept or frozen (no action) he keeps reviving his team


-MOONCHILD (Max Awakened)

SEVEN ANGELS, SEVEN DEMONS "Immune to all negative and beneficial effects, including Silver and Golden effects, for the duration of battle. All enemies’ attacks will miss unless they are Perfect Attacks. This skill can only be countered by Passive Disable applied at the start of the battle." //
Issue: Passive keeps working long after he is dead
Issue: The passive preventing power and fury moves DOES stop working if an enemy character dies and is revived. (this may only happen sometimes, but enough that it is noticeable. I havent confirmed if it is every time or not)
Issue: Reports that although Moonboy can't SHOW any buffs.. he does, at times ACT like there are buffs there.. healing as if there was Lifeseal or Healshield, taking damage as if from Punishment or Burns....

STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND (Passive) "Stun a random enemy at the start of battle for the duration of battle. This effect cannot be blocked or ignored, but does not apply to bosses" // Issue: "Occasionally Bounty Hunter Ed will stun two characters instead of one" Report and possible circumstances: "I´ve (from player: MuzakMaker-3591) talking with CS and our current thought is that it was caused by him getting revived and reapplying his passive incorrectly"
FROM SUPPORT/DEVS: "Fix for Stun and Accuracy Down effect lasting after death on the enemy team in some cases "




-ONIX SON

BASIC AND POWER SKILLS "Damage dealt increases based on your SPECIAL stat." // CLARIFICATION: "Onix Son got 3 GREEN Talismans Slots, Is that intended or should he have a different colour slot to help him with the SPECIAL damage?"
FROM SUPPORT/DEVS: "I can confirm that the Gunner Onyx Son is meant to have 3 Sentinel Talisman slots. This character can scale well enough if you choose to use your open slots towards Gunner Talismans, or if you have a Cosmic Talisman that offers Special stats. In this respect, you can gun for damage OR added utility depending on what sort of needs your team has. Hope that helps!"

However, his description says nothing about turns DEVS UPDATE: "update passive text description to clarify that this passive can ONLY BE DISABLED AT THE START OF THE BATTLE"

RETRIBUTION "Revive a random ally with full HP." // Issue: From time to time she revives allies who are alive xD

Issue: It looks like that under some conditions his passive doesn't work properly:
-With Starfire Talisman, it's been reported that his passive cant be disabled
-With Eternity Talisman, it's been reported that he can wear it without penalties (check eternity talisman for more info)

DIVINE "35% Chance to Refund Power Cost of the skill." // Issue: There are doubts about refunding power cost working at all.

Issue: Reports of the set giving immunity to Doom, Dark Ghost and Mark to the WHOLE TEAM when the set it is particularly equipped on Assassin WereWolf or Gambler Eddie



-COSMIC CYBORG TALISMAN (fromt1tot3)

SET "Grant Immunity to Sleep and Perfect Sleep to all allies. This talisman effects only activate when equipped to BHE or Max Awakened Cyborg" // Issue: Neither BHE or his allies are immune to Perfect Sleep. Anyone can try it very easily against Majors power skill
FROM SUPPORT/DEVS: "Fix for Sleep Immunity not working after the first round of the battle"


-FORGE TALISMAN SET

SET "Grant a Perfect Heal Shield and Cleanse to all allies for the duration of battle if any ally’s health falls to 1 HP." // Clarification: Is the perfect heal shield supposed to trigger every time someone reaches 1HP? Or once per fight the first time someone reaches 1HP?


-SINGULARITY SET

SET "Grant Immunity to Passive Disable and Perfect Disable to all allies after the first turn of battle." // Issue: Reports of set still working after wearer death DEVS UPDATE: "Fix for anti-passive disable still remaining on allies after the owner dies. Fix for Anti-passive nor returning after owner revives. Fix for anti-passive disable also applying at the start of the battle instead after the first round of the battle"

FROM SUPPORT/DEVS: "Updating text to clarify that the passive disable resistance only starts after both you and the opponent team have taken turns (First Round of battle)"

Issue: AFTER DECEMBER (part 1) UPDATE 2019: Reports of Passive/perfect disable landing even if you wear them and have immunity active…

DEVS UPDATE January 2020:"Just jumping into let you know we have been keeping our eye on the various issues in the arena (some of which are bugs, such as the Beast breaking the multiple extra turn limit, and others of which are character / talisman power related like Moonchild + Labyrinth / BHE + Sacred). There are fixes, solutions, and counters either in development or pending for the next release.

Nice list!

The witch DOES remove gold buffs.. but ONLY offensive buffs, i.e. 100% Crit, Ascension, Perfect Immunity, Perfect Immortality, etc. She won't remove any other yellows (like damage shields or Ghost). I don't know if this is "as designed" or not. I thought the descriptions read "all except Perfect Health, Soul Protect, and Shroud". Either way the description is wrong or the ability is bugged.

Max Awakened Moonchild : Passive keeps working long after he's dead (only for the AI, not for the player)

A lot of random going with talismans sets: Until now the biggest issue: Some talisman sets seem to be working even after their wearer death.

Actually even Lucifer Morningstar has bug too.. he is supposed to cleanse silver effects at the start of his turn, but in arena it doesn't seems to work all the time.. he got doomed and perfect death but did not cleanse it

For example, Clairvoyant's basic move has been mentioned before, how it has a 35% chance to refund the power cost. While not technically a bug, as the move DOES refund zero power every now and then, it's clearly some sort of mistake.

This happens with Charlotte too I think - she is supposed to keep silver effects off your team but that does not always happen either...may have read her skills wrong though!

Thks mate! If it's related to skills or talisman sets, I´d add in here, also yes, if we need some clarification because something is working really weird, like Alexander Eddie situation, I also I´d add here. Hopefully at some moment maybe a Dev or Media team can share some info about our doubts. Anyway, it should be a "proved" bug if possible, I mean a lot of times we perceive something wrong and instantly shout it bug.. when maybe there was a reason for that.

Finally, there are a lot of bugs or issues ongoing outside the specific characters area, like those random "stops" not working at all or that """luck""" for the Ai team at the arena.

Hey Scott, it says "Grants Immunity to Silver Effects to all allies for the first 2 turns of battle and to self for the duration of the battle." so yes, but only for 2 turns, is it happening from the beginning?

Charolette power move is working correctly. It revives a random ally each move. The teammate may be alive or permadeathed so no action seems to take place. Since she was introduced some toons now state revive a dead ally, dont know if doomed or permadeathed fall under this catagory.

Alex has always acted by not taking passive disable after the first round. I dont know if this s a bug or not, but a clear ability description would help clarify this issue.

Yep I know about Charly, and I do agree with you but the term "Revive" doesn't suggest that she should pick up a random ally among those who are dead first in order to be revived? I mean it doesn't sound logical that the spirit/idea/base of that skill when you read it is to revive someone who´s dead? if not the terminology is lazy xD I can understand picking up a random dead ally, but then no effect given because of permadeath, that´s logical and beyond Charlotte itself.

Anyway, yes you are right, strictly speaking about the written skill that one is "working", but honestly I just find it odd. Again some clarification or statement would be nice more than our assumption.

Magus Lord of Light's basic attack can inflict Dark Ghost on enemies. A lot of the time, those enemies will appear as corpses, or ghosts of corpses, or invisible, but can still attack, because they're not actually dead yet.

It's annoying, and happens just about every time Magus LoL attacks.

Yes! there is a known visual bug, where your enemies are "still alive" but as you said they just are standing on the floor taking a nap xD or even worse they are there but invisible and you can't see their status. I´ve seen myself that situation and with screens in this forum but sadly isn't only associated to M lol. I beliveve its a bigger issue.

Assasin LOL is taking damage from Warrior LOL and some other toons. HPs going down to a minimum and then they seem stable.
When A LOL is on defending side he's not taking damage (as described in his passive skill).
What is so special on W LOL? Chuck Norris Damage?

This is not true. Moonchilds passive stayed constantly thru death regardless of AI or player. This *may* have been fixed with the latest patch? I havent tested yet.

Not saying this isnt true, but I have NEVER seen him fail to cleanse ALL silvers from all allies. Very annoying ability to fight against.


Updated COSMIC CYBORG TALISMAN not working against Sleep effects.

Confirm this is an issue, both sleep and perfect sleep. I have also rarely (if ever) seen the passive disable on enemy heal (from the cyborg cosmic) work either. I have a theory that it is working, but the debuff doesnt show up, but that is very hard to confirm.

I have used BHE a lot since getting him. I have never seen that happen as a player using BHE. Perhaps this is a glitch with the AI BHE usage within the cyborg dungeon only?

Is this damage? or is it HP reduction. Warrior LOL of course has a damage reduction which will take the total HP of enemies by 10% per attack, there is a limit to the reduction but it isnt listed in the ability. I think it is around 70% max. So the Assassin LOL will be left with only 30% of original HP, but he will still be "full health" and not taking damage.

This is not meant as an attack.... However, this post is something that you, or one of the other Dev/Customer support/Employees should be doing. We as customers/users should not need to be collecting a list of bugs for you. We come into the Bug section and post new bug reports (unfortunately) on a daily basis. Almost NONE of them are ever acknowledged by an employee in any way. Yes most of the time the bugs are eventually fixed and show up in some patch, but until then we have no idea if it is "a bug", or "a feature", or "the devs dont give a crap so stop whining and give us your money".

The very basic, lowest level of customer support is being responsive with a customer. I obviously realize that you wont have the answer, in most cases you wont even be the correct person to give the answer, but a simple reply saying "I see this problem you are having, I have forwarded it on to the devs and they have confirmed it is a bug (or confirm that it is working as intended)" would go a LOOOOOOONG way towards improving your (and the company's) image with us.

I dont know your daily activities and job requirements, so I can't say for sure, but in my mind, it wouldnt take you more than an hour a day to read the new bug posts, discuss them with devs, get a general reply, and respond to each of them within a day. It would take more time to do a compendium like this, certainly, but it would obviously make it much easier for you to keep everything straight so you knew what was addressed or not, etc... This would improve relations so much a cant even begin to explain the value in it.

This lack of communication and lack of understanding or explanation is, IMO, the #1 cause of anger among your player base.

IMO, the talisman slots need to be changed on him. He should not be allowed to use Labyrinth. Labs, with any means of automatic healing, makes him unkillable. He does not take debuffs, so the only way to deal with this is Gunner Hierophant preventing all healing or a character with Quantum talisman (possibly more than 1 is needed). Yes, that means there is a solution, but it shouldnt be SO restrictive of a solution. This, combined with a few other things has turned Arena into almost guaranteed draws. That is NOT fun.
I have seen (only once) my BHE stun enemy moonchild at the start of the battle and all my characters were able to have power and fury abilities. Again, this goes to my comment a few posts up, it MAY have been caused by the Cyborg Cosmic passive disable on heal. However, if that is the case, he should not have been affected since moonchild passive prevents it, and the debuff wasnt visible so who knows what the cause was. And the debuff couldnt have been applied at start of battle since no way moonchild healed before the battle starts.


Bounty Hunter/Cyborg Cosmic:


Sleep/perfect sleep immunity doesnt work
cosmic passive disable doesnt seem to work
He should not heal on magic/physical damage. Instead just make him immune to it. I fought a 45 minute gauntlet battle against him because of this. I had 3 true damage dealers and 1 magic damage (M LOL) I would almost kill him, then the M LOL would full heal him. I tried using M LOL first, full heal him, then true damage him close to death so I could attack with true damage first on the following turn, but he would somehow heal himself as well. Bottom line is I couldnt kill him until he luckily killed my M LOL and then a few quick attacks and he was dead. You cannot expect someone to go against him with only true damage because you will get destroyed by a single Orbit talisman set. You cant decline to attack with a character. So there is no real alternative except (guess who?) Gunner Pope. Yes in this case you have other options, heal block and such, but they get cleansed very easily. Again, this leads to MANY draws in arena and ridiculously long gauntlet battles, even to the point that the game 's memory leaks freeze the program and guess what... thats a loss for the home team and your team is retired. It isnt "fair" and it isnt fun.

Is the perfect heal shield supposed to trigger every time someone reaches 1HP? Or once per fight the first time someone reaches 1HP? Because as is it is super annoying and drags out fights way too long.

Yin/Yang sometimes covers whole team, other times does not.... This has been mentioned.
Ferryman/Eternity talisman not functioning correctly... This has been mentioned.
I dont think Magus Werewolf passive works as intended either, but this may be a personal vendetta. I had my entire team wiped in Gauntlet F by a level 83 Magus WW with no talisman. I cannot imagine that (as an example) a level 1 unleveled, unsharded Magus WW would be intended to deal so much reflect damage that it could kill a fully maxed all 100 maxed talisman team, but in theory it can. The damage reflection should be scaled in some way so that it is only at full power when level 100 and even then, it is far too much damage.
I will refrain from listing the passive disable issues until I test out the new patch. We all know singularities were broken. We all know Alex couldnt be disabled even though it should have been possible. I know the patch notes say he has been changed to match moonchilds "start of battle only" restriction... We shall see.

This is not meant as an attack.... However, this post is something that you, or one of the other Dev/Customer support/Employees should be doing. We as customers/users should not need to be collecting a list of bugs for you. We come into the Bug section and post new bug reports (unfortunately) on a daily basis. Almost NONE of them are ever acknowledged by an employee in any way. Yes most of the time the bugs are eventually fixed and show up in some patch, but until then we have no idea if it is "a bug", or "a feature", or "the devs dont give a crap so stop whining and give us your money".

The very basic, lowest level of customer support is being responsive with a customer. I obviously realize that you wont have the answer, in most cases you wont even be the correct person to give the answer, but a simple reply saying "I see this problem you are having, I have forwarded it on to the devs and they have confirmed it is a bug (or confirm that it is working as intended)" would go a LOOOOOOONG way towards improving your (and the company's) image with us.

I dont know your daily activities and job requirements, so I can't say for sure, but in my mind, it wouldnt take you more than an hour a day to read the new bug posts, discuss them with devs, get a general reply, and respond to each of them within a day. It would take more time to do a compendium like this, certainly, but it would obviously make it much easier for you to keep everything straight so you knew what was addressed or not, etc... This would improve relations so much a cant even begin to explain the value in it.

This lack of communication and lack of understanding or explanation is, IMO, the #1 cause of anger among your player base.

I will say I am one of the many who are upset with the lack of communication. However there is one thing that bugs me even more. There is a drastic difference between the two CS representatives. I will not say names but one of them has always been polite and open to my reports and the other has been rude and has refused to fully investigate.

Btw, I was actually and happily surprised when Ceeg commented in here, even more, when something that we did finally had a positive impact into the game (I´m particularly happy about W Minotaur now working properly) So yes, they could fix or answer to us things before the need for this post, I mean Alex passive question was in this forum before the forum itself(?) but hey finally some feedback and impact on the game! On the other hand, I have some tickets without even a simple reply word from them, but Let's keep asking for this level of feedback, If they keep following up some basic level of communication in here or another better thread it's a good sign, you Devs/Team I´m thankful you are starting to reply and fixing things, pls keep it doing : )

Heal is part of his on-action passive. He heals and revives an ally. But he heals and revives even when he's not doing anything and if he does something he will not revive anyone (still heals) except if he uses his revive power skill. I won or lost many battles unfairly because he's so unpredictable with bugs.

Well that was original VHE's skill and they do keep everything besides fury when they make reskins. It's not a problem when everything works correctly, more revives are always good (when you do it). But that reviving is so random, you can never be sure when will it work properly and when not.

Why the hell does he got 3 GREEN slots?

Max woke beast does not steal buffs 100% of the time.

Singularity does NOTHING now.

If max woke dark lilith dies, her passive should no longer prevent revive. At least for the characters who die after she does, if not all of them. They way it is worded, she is preventing revive only as long as she is in the battle, it isn't a permadeath effect. An revive should be possible once she is removed from battle.

More info on max lilith. I just had perfect disable on enemy lilith. Still it prevented my lilith from reviving and prevented valhalla from reviving her also. Additionally, even though my max lilith never had disable on her, the enemy lilith revived on death after my lilith had died. So it's super messy.

In addition.. although Moonboy can't SHOW any buffs.. he does, at times ACT like there are buffs there.. healing as if there was Lifeseal or Healshield, taking damage as if from Punishment or Burns....

When playing arena with BHE against another team with BHE the AI team is either immune to his passive or if his passive does stun a character it appears to stun only until passive disable is cast on him. Yet if passive disable is cast on the enemy BHE it makes no difference to your stunned character and he cannot be used for the duration of the battle. Frustrating af.

...or perhaps it is happening after a cleanse.. it’s getting hard to tell wtf is happening these days.

I´ll add those to the list thanks! Honestly, I believe the passive disable (and perfect) are causing some serious issues everywhere, not only working on Singularities but also still working on characters once you remove PD from them or generating some random anomalies.

On the other hand I also noticed from to time Raven removes 98% of silver buffs, the remaining silvers seem to be a visual glitch on some occasions but on others I just wtf happened...
Btw Fred I tested Raven and she can take naps, maybe she was wearing some talismans preventing sleep.

Characters revive even if i have Lilith Nightmoon on my team. Brave talismans made Moonchild to revive. No PD on my side, at least no icon was shown.

Got an interesting one here.

The Gunner Ghost of Christmas Past's (http://www.news.maiden-lotb.com/n3/character-en/ghost-of-christmas-past-gunner/) beneficial effect removal passive is causing Snow Shields (http://www.news.maiden-lotb.com/n3/positive-negative-en/snow-shield/) to explode, causing damage with a chance to Freeze and Taunt.

This was an odd one to discover. I pulled the Yellow Ghost earlier today, and was trying him out in Madness. I started to noticed my team would often get Frozen at the beginning of the 3rd wave. While Coalgiver Ed can Freeze, neither he nor the Yellow and Green Wickerdeer have passives that can inflict Freeze at the start of a battle. No talismans either. The two Yellow Wickerdeer have Banner talismans (http://www.news.maiden-lotb.com/n3/talisman-en/banner-gunner/) though, and this seems to be the problem. The Banners were giving the team either Blizzard or Snow Shields, which were exploding when the Yellow Ghost's passive removed them. The screenshot below if from the start of the wave, before anyone has performed any actions.

A friend mentioned they'd had the same thing happen in the Labyrinth Dungeon, while using the Yellow Ghost. Their team was Frozen at the start of a wave against an enemy using Banner Talismans. So I decided to test it. I threw a set of Snow Talismans onto a Storm Eddie, and jumped into a few Arena Defence Test matches. The Snow Shield exploded for damage every single time, and would sometimes Freeze and Taunt. This is a rare screenshot where you can see the Snow Shield buff icon, for the brief moment before it gets removed.

I don't have a way to give Blizzard, Magma, or Stone Shields at the start of a fight to test if those act the same way. But the Yellow Ghost/Snow Shield interaction is repeatable.

On the one hand, what you said makes sense and the official text states that: "On expiration, deal true damage to enemies based on damage taken with a 35% chance to Freeze or Taunt all enemies." But on the other hand, a removal effect is considered an expiration? If it's so it would work more like a Trap than a Shield. Anyway, maybe it's a general condition and it´s happening beyond the Gunner Ghost yes.

If it's intended or not I´d like to know too, but It's not a game-changer though.

Very interesting Phoenix, thanks for bringing that up! I hadn't thought to test other characters who can remove effects. Went back into the Test Arena, using Killer Prime instead of the Yellow Ghost, and the same thing happened. So it's not the Ghost's passive being weird, but the Snow Shield.

Way back when I was using Wicker Eddie in the story missions, I loved using his move that could give everyone Magma Shields. I'd always assumed that style of shield "expired" after absorbing a certain amount of damage, and their effect would only trigger if the enemy hit hard enough. Never thought expire simply meant when the duration ran out!


But on the other hand, a removal effect is considered an expiration? If it's so it would work more like a Trap than a Shield. Anyway, maybe it's a general condition and it´s happening beyond the Gunner Ghost yes. If it's intended or not I´d like to know too, but It's not a game-changer though.

Yes, would be nice to know if this is the intended interaction between that style of Shield and Remove Effects. Not a big deal, but it can influence how we build teams if we know we'll be facing that style of shield, or even multiple Banner talismans. Starting a round with your whole team Frozen isn't much fun, especially if it could have been avoided.

Just going to add another bug I noticed here instead of creating a new thread. Assassin chopper's passive isn't working in arena. My team has fear and perfect corruption applied to them. Sekhmet has Vipers, but my chopper isn't perfect disabled.7361

That could be due to Angel Eddie's passive. He prevents "Immunity effects", which might include passives that grant immunity to specific effects and not just the prevent the Immunity and Perfect Immunity buff.

Both Wrath and Demon Prince Wrath cannot trigger marks. No clue why, but for some reason if they land a perfect hit on the marked enemy, the marks disappear and nothing happens.

The vampiric augment has been nerfed instead. Previously it used to heal with all attacks and apply hp drain on perfect hits, but now only heals with perfect hits and doesn't apply hp drain.

That is irrelevant. One attack by the moonchild will heal him full from near death. It doesnt matter that it only requires perfect hits or the lack of HP drain

Magus Lord of Light's basic attack can inflict Dark Ghost on enemies. A lot of the time, those enemies will appear as corpses, or ghosts of corpses, or invisible, but can still attack, because they're not actually dead yet.

It's annoying, and happens just about every time Magus LoL attacks.

A bigger problem I've had with this is Magus LOL's power move is supposed to instantly kill anyone with Doom or Dark Ghost. However, more often than not when I use this power move in the arena, the insta-killed target remains in play as an invisible attacker. And in fact, it often stays Dark Ghosted so that I can't deal more damage to it and take it out the conventional way. I've lost many battles this way that I should have won.

Well we have some word from the Devs about the latest bugs and talis/char broken combos:

Kaz_LOTB "Just jumping into let you know we have been keeping our eye on the various issues in the arena (some of which are bugs, such as the Beast breaking the multiple extra turn limit, and others of which are character / talisman power related like Moonchild + Labyrinth / BHE + Sacred). There are fixes, solutions, and counters either in development or pending for the next release.

Keep an eye our for Tuning and Update notes that will call out any specific changes or fixes being addressed.

So finally yes Beast (Warlord + Lantern = 20/30/40 infinite extra turns) is cataloged as bug among other situations. Thks Devs for working on these things and keep us informed :D

Yes, it's maxed. I only figured out yesterday that this ability (insta-kill anyone with doom or dark ghost) is a final stage addition to the power move. Or would be if it worked. Usually it backfires and keeps toons alive for longer than they would be if I didn't use the insta-kill move.

another problem i face with moonchild. i hit the opponents with a character of mine, but not with moonchild. if i have moonchild on my team, the other team characters only do damage if they perfectly hit. this is insane. everything is wrong.....
