Anyone else notice a difference on the insanity level since last nights update?
The team I was using suddenly sux now.

Also, the good 'ole server connection issues are back as frequent as ever.

Everything was going fine for a day and a half.... but they couldn't leave it be.

Yeah they were a "purchase" a few months ago..and again during this event. And I believe they are part of the Gold medal soul for #1 in PvP.

One IMPORTANT factor about the Cosmic Cyborg talismans.. their passive CAN'T be disabled. Nothing disables passive talismans.. or rather, nothing is supposed to. You can only "counter" talismans with oppsite abilities.

They come in as 3 stars level 1.. you just need the runes and gold to level them to 30. No evolution stuff needed. And realize their passives ONLY work on max Awakened Cyborg or BHE.. or at least that what it states in the description.. Knowing these devs.. I haven't tested to see if that's true. I did see one on Van Helsing in PvP.. the passive didn't seem to function there.

The team I am using is 100% and never dies and I am half hour off BHE.

Gambler - Forge
WLOL - Viper T3 Freeze Cosmic
AWolf - Starfire
Charlotte - Orbit

100% safe and best time 53 seconds averages maybe 1:30 but not sure on that - hardly ever over 1:50 that I have seen.
Congrats on getting BHE!

I tried this exact setup, the time was 1:44 to 2:10.
I have all the relics too.

Maybe the update changed something since you used this team yesterday.
But still quicker than the current team I was using.

Very weird though.

For those of you who already have BHE is he worth the effort? I got the 3 pyramids and the T3 and I am doubtful about going ahead. The change to drops made it Doable but still the required ironite is a lot. What do you guys think?

I use Number of the beast Eddie with forge and cosmic, Lucifer Morningstar with vorpal, tranquility and cosmic , sentinel onyx son with alchemy and cosmic, KP with Warlord, energy (don't have greed) and cosmic usually takes 1:15min in insanity best was 56 sec. 100% win

Every event, some character or talisman doesn't work as advertised.
We are always playing with broken talis & toons.

Like Van Helsing Ed's future basic says removes all shields before dealing damage, but I've never seen it work.
Maybe they meant ladies panty shields. LoL 😁

New skills and talismans NEVER (!) work as intended.
Every new toon and talisman got a random secret stat of "0" (overpowered) or "1" (bugged).
Testing is not needed, because the community does the job without payment.

PS: Eddie's got a new hat, so what? I love him (Stranger Eddie)

What is even funnier is it also says it can "cleanse."

K, got BHE and most expensive 2 talismans so far. Wish I could actually play the game instead of autogrinding for 5 straight days.

Just curious, is everyone else's load times between runs about the same as mine? If I time a run and time between Victory screen to Victory screen let's say my time displayed is 1:15, but it takes a total of 2:00 to do, so overall 45 seconds wasted on load screens and such.
Thought my old phone was just slow, but just got a Samsung Tab A that's about the same runtime.

Got my Max Awakened Cyborg and T3 talisman. I'm going to continue to grind this dungeon for 50 more runs, to meet the next achievement AND get 3 more 5* Eddies to sacrifice-- a good deal for 600 SoT. Between now and the Sac event I should have them leveled up, in the "backseat"

Now, if my "Eddie Recycler" achievement was working properly...

eta: if you're thinking about trading Cyborg shards for awakening fragments, don't. LoL XIV is a better deal for the SoT, and XV is even better.

Funny enough, for me, the Cyborg Dungeon appears to be the only dungeon that after the first crash (which happens the first or second run).. seems to run for at least 500 SOT before crashing again. It won't burn though more than 500SOT without a crash.. but that's at least more stable than ANYWHERE else.

I dont know how you managed that bro... I get a run of about 4 to 5 max before app crashes and both teams just staring at each other. I have managed 14K so far and thinking i will cut the loss and stick with Cyborg Ed and a T3 talisman... this game has become so unfuckingplayable its not funny.

Happens to me 1-2/10, so annoying, especially when I leave the game running for the night only to wake up finding them staring at each other after only several battles.

Has anyone worked out what exactly causes the freezes? From talking a couple of people, it only seems to happen when a character wearing Singularities has died. My Sentinel Onyx Son with Singularities will occasionally die in the first Insanity wave, which can lead to the game getting stuck in a calculation loop and effectively freezing during the Lone Star wave and the final Cyborg boss wave. Have heard a couple others have experienced this with their own Onyx, and someone who had a Madam with Singularities.

I always run singularities, that much I can confirm.
I have noted that--I think-- the game freezes when my Assassin Werewolf with Yin/Yang has launched an attack., but before the hit/damage is calculated.

AND-- I had thought that only the Cyborg dungeon froze with the "enemies staring at each other" --but LoL XV crashes the same way.

No singularities on my team though.. so if that's a factor, that may be why I haven't seen a freeze.

When it locks up like this and I use the Exit Battle option, to save time having to force restart the app, a couple of damage and heal numbers pop-up quickly before the defeat animation starts.

Hard to say, but think of the ironite you invested. Will the sac rewards be worth more than whatever you'd have to do in the future for a T2 talisman? Don't know how they will end up offering that since it's a new concept to have a specialized talisman.

Van Helsing/VHE's Claim DOES cleanse... IF there's Permadeath or Stun on an ally -- without permadeath or stun, no cleanse. And he does remove shields before damage.. just not BLOCKING before damage :) -- so Snow Shield, Sleep shield, Magma Shield, Disruption shield, etc.. but not Damage blockers. It's not that descriptions are "wrong" much of the time, they are just not very explanatory overall and act upon, or require specific circumstances.

Yeah, I know the cleanse works (that was mentioned cuz of the panty shields joke) I use that ability all the time, but I agree about the description.
The words " all shields" does not mean "all shields".... therefore I stand by my previous statement that it doesn't work.
Those crappy shields are not an issue, but Heal Shields are.... or Damage shields.

I know that the issue is "what they meant" vs. what it says.
The terminology is old from Vampire Hunter, they didn't have perf. heal shields then. But they did update him before releasing Van Helsing, they could have NOT been lazy and corrected the description.

This whole conversation is centered on "point of view".... but my view is, words have meaning. If what they meant is not what was said then fix it and say what you mean. I' m tired of this company just being vague or inaccurate, when these things are very crucial to us customers.

Btw All shields should work on ALL shields... I could forgive you golden shields.. but come on... I mean if you follow to the letter the description for Charly´s power ability (revive a random ally, instead of a random DEAD ally) why you don't follow ALL shields to the letter? Just consistency with descriptions and avoiding silly communications mistakes it should be a must for any company in 2020 came on...

Anyone got some suggestions for Warrior Only (Madness) challenge? Having problems with this..

I used Phantom Eddie with Starfires, as I don't have any of the top tier Warriors. His future basic has a decent chance to put enemies to sleep.

W LoL - Orbits.
Red Shinobi - Vipers
Red Pyro - Forge.

While obviously far from the best possible team, the Forge talismans were the real champion. Solid defensive boost, and reliable source of Permadeath.

It's a difficult challenge, as Bounty Hunter's unavoidable stun can really mess with things. But it only 15 runs thankfully.

Note that ALL 3 of the Cyborg Cosmics have the exact same stats for HP/ATK/Mag -- this can't be right.. a T1 has the same stats as a T3?

I think that was intended. They dont want you to just buy the talisman and toss them on a random guy. So make the stats mediocre, but make the effect increase the stats to mega numbers. If you start with the same base for T1-T3, and then let the effect increase by different rates, you get the same effect as the stats increasing with the Tier level increase but without the random benefit to other toons.

This is why i said the cosmics are useless for any other characters a while back. SURE you can equip them anywhere, but they have shit stats and no useful effect bonuses when on any other toons. It has to be intentional, why would they give us a "free" "easy access" T3 red talisman with mega stats?

I only bought the one T3 as I think that is all we needs as it is Cyborg only then it can fit with the awaken and BHE so just have to swap. Not going for two as don't need them due to the stats being the same though the passive is different. I have got all I need on this one so just going to farm to get some sac Eddies and that is it.

An OK event and the servers have been in decent shape for a few days now...though oddly my wifi has been sh*t due to local issues with the provider....but still got there - not sure on total ironite as I got arena ironite and do daily quests that drops some, but I reckon it is around 1800 or so in total to get BHE, Pyramids and T3 - for me that is not to bad and worth the grind - 99% of that was insanity level....only got one full primordial set but that is fine as got loads already.

Anyway, as for farming insanity, I'm using:
Doomsday Eddie - Yin / Yang
Killer Prime - Shadow / Health (but could probably use something better here)
Raven Witch - Forge / Cosmic
Musashi - Alchemy / Cosmic

it's not 100% bulletproof but wins most of the time, the occasional defeat happens less often than connection error anyway.

I tried a few Warrior Madness teams that didn't work and will come back to it later. There was an earlier post on a suggested teal I didn't have all the toons for but it seemed like a good starting point. If you have a talisman like singularity to block damage on all then try to work that in

Try your best Warriors:
*Alexander Ed
*W. LoL
*Charlotte
*Killer Beast/ Daedalus/W. Heirophant

I'm not sure of the talis you have, but Vipers, Orbits, Singularity, Labyrinth, Forge, Starfire, Celestial or Alchemy can all help.

I noticed on Alex Ed & Charlotte you had a mixed bag of basic talis, mostly non green.
The cosmic is great but add some green talis (if you don't have the 5 or 6 tali sets) for high Hp..... survivability is everything.

The order you place them in is key, too.

I was thinking for a T3 the stats are lame.
We grinded hard and long. Plus, the fact they only work on 2 characters.... one we grind like hell for, the other costs alot in resources to max, in order for the ability to work.

The only difference between the T1,T2 & T3 is the % of stats increase and the % of damage reduction.

I don't think we get the red T3 for free. You need to earn 10 k fragments. Other than that, you'll need either fully maxed Cyborg or BHE to be able to use it, which requires getting cyborg awakening materials, BHE or both. Seems like it's buggy with stats, even a white T2 has more base stats than this red T3. Would be nice to hear a feedback about this from devs.

This exactly... they aren't really "free".

I did see a PvP team with all 3 Cyborg cosmics in use.. not one on a cyborg anywhere :) I don't think everyone "gets" that they only function on 2 characters - or they simply don't read the full description.

Football Eddie- Primordials
Warrior Lol (twice awakened) - Vipers and Blind Cosmic
Minotaur - Persecutions Sustaining Death Mark Cosmic
Savage Reaper - Trooper Talismans and Cosmic

(I owe Stormseye a drink)

This didn't work reliably at all for me. Maybe because my W LOL is only awakened once or slight cosmic talisman difference. Change to Alex with Orbit and still not great, but kept Alex and replaced Minotaur with W Heirophant with celestial and so far so good, 4 straight wins.

Update:. Had a few losses before I realized neither my Alex or Soccer Ed were shared. Shared Alex and should be good, but shared Soccer probably would have been fine.

It really comes down to the fury.... I prefer BHE because he has no fury and a better base passive. I prefer the fury for other characters, like Lucifer or Raven Witch... But that's just my 2¢. Max Cyborg is a good too though. He's just got a fury. No fury can make for faster grinding.

To be frank, I put the T3 on BHE and the T2 on Max Cyborg. When I get around to ti.. I'll put the T1 on the Cyborg Angry Bird just to see if it works :) It should, right? :)

I'm starting to think Cyborg Eddie needs to be on a team with TWO other characters that have a Fury. When Max Awakened, he steals Fury, and if you also have your Fury Relic maxed, that's a lot of Fury. I run him with Killer Beast, and Cyborg still Furies all over the place. I wish he'd use his Power move. Thinking about adding someone like Clairvoyant-- who has an Eddie-like "reset the battle" Fury.

I've been grinding this for 3 days now & it's been a right pain with this hanging boss level bug. So i reported it this morning & this evening they replied & put about 400 SOT back to my account. I've never had such a quick response! They said they're aware of the bug but don't think they can fix it before the event ends. I'm on 15000 at the moment

Older ones.. the Beast (3 purple slots), Wrath (3 purple slots), Corrupt General (3 blue slots), Beelzebub (3 green slots) -- then the LOLs.. a couple have a fury and can wear a 6-set, like Gunner and Sentinel LOL.

BHE steals power/fury the same way as Cyborg.

Older ones.. the Beast (3 purple slots), Wrath (3 purple slots), Corrupt General (3 blue slots), Beelzebub (3 green slots) -- then the LOLs.. a couple have a fury and can wear a 6-set, like Gunner and Sentinel LOL.

BHE steals power/fury the same way as Cyborg.

Sekhmet is awesome fury extra turn for everyone with 6 reds, Orbits anyone? Vipers plus RedT3 Primordials7157ok I don't have this cosmic YET

Don't see a good fit on green/blue. KB/Starfire has been pretty effective.

Sekhmet was a really useful character. She was probably my favorite of the Egyptian characters. I agree with edsel, the extra turns are awesome with her fury.

What's nice is having a Cosmic with a high Special stat.
I have a T3 with a High Hp, Def & Special.
It causes the Sentinel, Gunner & Assassin LoL's to use their fury every turn.

For anyone wanting to grind faster w/ a toon that has fury, just use Blight talis. They allow a toon to only use their basic move. I love'em on the event challenges where you have to apply "x" amount of buffs/debuffs.

Echo on Sehkment is a wondrous thing :) Viper + echo Cosmic if possible..... She hits.. she hits... she hits.. she furies.. everyone hits again....

Also with Vipers she'll counter and hit all enemies.

I was finally able to complete it using:
Alexander - Valors
Warrior LoL (10*) - Prime, Tranq, Guardian
Beelzebub - Thorn, Energy
Charlotte - Dominance, Warlord, Cosmic

You see, I was away from the game for about half a year so I don't have most of the talis you mentioned. From the newer sets the only ones I have are:
Forge (using them for insanity right now)
Alchemy (same as above)
Yin / Yang (same)
Artifact (these seem kinda useless to me especially since they boost Magic and they are of the Overwhelming subtype, haven't even powered them up)
Lantern (haven't used them yet as well)
and some new yellow 3-set from this event, don't remember the name

So I had to experiment with what I got and the above team actually worked. Honestly, I never thought I would use Beelzebub for any serious battle but I have to say he's great since he got buffed. That power move removes beneficials including golden ones (almost all of them) and the fury gives Vanish and Golden Hit so helps the team survive. About 1800 ironite down and countless upon countless hours of grinding insanity I have the new BHE and the t3 cosmic. All in all not a bad event. I would like to thank the devs for extending this event and the bigger frag drops or this would not have been possible for me.

Finally got through the blue achievement, that was very unpleasant and it took way more attempts than I would like but at least I can now get a proper team together and make some progress...

Currently running with no losses after about 10 runs using:

VHE - Forge
Musashi - Singularity
W.Lol - Viper + Cosmic
M.Warewolf - Brave

Early days, but I might be able to get the Eddie after all.

A little followup from my last post, I'm happy to report that I'm still getting 100% success in Insanity runs on auto (I also swapped out the werewolf for G.Minotaur for a bit more clout with no real changes good or bad).
The down side though is that my average run times are 3.5-4 mins and because I spent so long being distracted by the new event that they ran I'm not going to get the 2.5k shards and have any leftovers for a talisman.

I've looked at the other teams and I know that I can swap out the werewolf / minataur without penalty but I have no idea what to put in its place.
Also, has anyone tried out those new green talis in this event or at all and got good news to report?

Venom not really necessary. M LoL with singularity dark Chatsworth, with A. WW (Forge/Echo Cosmic) and Hallowed Ed putting Perfect Death on everything with added G. Minotaur for extra fun. Average time ~2mins. I know now Im not gonna get Stranger, get the T3 talisman and another 20 Cyborg Ed's for sac event

I was finally able to get him too, thanks to the extended running time and increased frag drops, but it was still a major PITA! Fucking crazy... Last time I remember such stupid grinding was when the Ferryman was released. I'm exhausted...

So BHE's passive stuns but says "does not apply to bosses."

Usually this means the Eddie.

I have had it happen twice in Arena, my VHE gets stunned.

Either it's bugged or they mean "Bosses" as in the Dungeons and Cosmos etc.
Probably the later.... but they need to be more clearer.
Sometimes "does not to apply bosses" has meant an Eddie, even in PvP.

"Bosses" has always referred to PVE bosses. The fact that some bosses are now playable characters does not exempt them from these abilities. BHE will even stun Alexander and bypass any Immunity.

Sometimes it cleanses when BHE dies. Sometimes not. Sometimes he can be dead the first round of battle and the stun remains for the rest of the battle even though he's dead.

So far, all I can figure out is disabling his passive clears it.. but that's the ONLY way and if he's dead.. you can't disable his passive.

I have not had it stick after he is dead but I have seen him Disable himself by using Scan. I do know that Calibrate will not trigger an opposing Cosmic to trigger Disable on my team and release their ally. Usually when a team has a bunch of self healing abilities it will trigger my Cosmic to disable their team but it does not always show the icon. Bare in mind though that the Passive Disable is from the Cosmic Talisman and NOT the character himself so Disable Passive on him should not work. Healing from other allies will not trigger the Disable to release your ally.

Only when BHE uses Scan have I seen it release my ally but it does not always do so and the AI rarely uses Scan. This harkens to the bugs with Passive Disable and the talisman itself in general. The triggered Passive Disable only lasts one 1 turn so it fades at the end of their turn. Despite fading though, the "latent" Disable effect, which has been an issue for many months now, is still on the opposing team even though the icon does not display. Of course it still does not protect against Sleep in any form or fashion. Even with Serenity talismans I have been inflicted with Perfect Sleep from Major Malakhov and Assassin Werewolf. Really feel that part of the talisman needs to be addressed sooner than later.

Actually... I have rarely an issue with Sleep/PS... rarely, but I've seen him sleep.

I THINK the problem comes from Dark Lilith and Lucifer (lilith moreso).. they appear to ignore all blocking/invulnerability/immunity and allow things like Silver Buffs on Charlotte/Musashi. Theoretically if Charlotte is present Dark Lilith should not be able to disable any passives, but she does...

Try watching when you see BHE sleeping.. I'd bet Dark Lilith or Lucifer are on the opposing team.

And Moonboy.. that little bastard.. just because there's no visible buff over him does NOT mean he's not buffed. He uses/gets inflicted with buffs the same as any other character.. you simply don't SEE the buff icons. (standard blue/red/green/orange buffs I'm 100% certain work on him invisibly... I don't think Yellow/Silver buffs do though)
