If you ever wanted to see which talismans all the enemies are wearing in Cyborg Dungeon Madness and Insanity without having to trudge through the dungeon with a notepad, it's your lucky day! Don't have any real tactical advice to give out at this point, but feel free to discuss strategy and teams down below. (Also, what do you think of this image layout, is it easy to understand?)

Hahah yup, I decided to use the Compendium talisman images to make it easier for people to look them up over there. Just gotta look for the right icon! Had thought about using the little in-game square buff-icons, but they don't always match up with the talisman images, and are harder to identify at a glance. Compendium ones are much better, and properly colour-coded.




This is the team I've been using, gets around 3-3.30min auto runs. It's mid-range at the most, but does use a few event-exclusive talismans/characters. Should still be a decent starting point to help people with their own team building. As long as you can deal with Perfect Immunity and Perfect Immortality, Insanity isn't anywhere near as annoying/difficult as I'd expected.

Have had 3 defeats in 100 runs though, in different places, but it seems that Green Onyx Son can rarely be killed during the first wave. One loss was to Cyborg Eddie though, which shouldn't be possible due to my Orbits, so who knows what's going on in there...

UPDATE: The Rider talismans in Waves 2&5 can inflict Perfect Sleep on your whole team. Had been wondering what was causing that. Something to be mindful of.




Flight of Icarus Eddie
Lantern, Warlord, Cosmic
My strongest Eddie, capable of dealing huge amounts of multi-hit damage when Warlord triggers. Can cleanse and remove damage shields. Any hard-hitting and durable Eddie should work here.


The Killer Prime
Persecution, Shell, Cosmic
His permadeath passive helps deal with the Light talismans, and Bloodlust from his basic helps trigger my Warlords. He hits like a wet noodle beacuse I don't have any good talismans for him yet, but his job is to stay alive and debuff the enemy.


6* Warrior LoL
Orbits
Awakening his first level turns his basic attack into an AOE that removes Perfect Immunity, which a lot of enemies in here have. The Orbits help him cleanse your team and purge the enemy's buffs. The Orbits also mean the final Cyborg boss can't really damage you, as all he does is true damage.


Sentinel Onyx Son
Singularity
Gives everyon an Accuracy Up buff (super good with LoL's Extra Turn change), removes enemy buffs, revives fallen allies, and with Singularities, he will continually steal the shields the boss Cyborg gains every turn.

Insanity boils down to this:

Wave 1
The Boss Wrathchild inflicts Marks, so if you use Labyrinth talis, be prepared w/ immunity or Singularity on allies to reduce damage 35%.
The second G. Trixter has Frontier talis, he usually dies last.

Wave 2
The Boss Child of the Damned has Rider talis, they inflict sleep for 2 turns and heals self & allies when anyone's Hp hits 1, plus reduces damage by 50%. He can take a little while to terminate healing so much, but when he inflicts sleep, his attack can awaken you.... so no big deal.

Wave 3
Prisoner inflicts passive disable on all for first round and can inhibit your buffs due to his primordials inflicting perf. corruption.The Boss Gangland Ed has Eternity talis which can give all damage type shields, but he is actually quite easy to terminate.

Wave 4 The Boss Lonestar Ed has seige talis which grant immunity to physical damage, but he is actually quite easy to terminate.

Wave 5 The Boss Cyborg Ed Maxed Awakened has fury and a passive which grants invincibility, fully heals and revives all allies when his Hp reaches 1. He has Space talis that grant Vanish each turn and 35% chance to heal each ally every turn, plus grants all damage type shields for 2 turns to anyone who falls below 30% Hp.
G. Hellraisers (2) one has Rider talis that heal allies and inflicts perf. sleep for 2 turns when you reach 1% Hp. The other one has Lightbringer talis which grant perf immortality each turn. Those along with Eddie's passive, causes them to revive quite a bit. So inflict perma death to stop the cycle. (Killer Prime)

I'm sure there's alot more anyone could say on the matter, but after a day and a half grinding this dungeon, these are the major issues that stick out.

It really depends on what characters and how easy it is for you to farm the dungeon(s).

Insanity isn't very difficult with newer, awakenable, characters. I've farmed it for a couple days and I've only got a couple thousand frags left. So it's doable with the right characters. I'll have BHE tonight. If you run insanity, the ironite return essentially makes up for the cost of a mega-refill, with about 20-30 short. So it's not as costly in terms of ironite as it may seem.

I have enough frags for the Max Awakening of Cyborg and the T3 cosmic.
I will get that first. I think a maxed Cyborg will be better and more used in the game than another copy with a passive.

I have Tour Ed, Gangland, and Lonestar Eds ... I never use them.
I was skeptical of Van Helsing, but he's my #1 Ed.
I don't think Bounty Hunter's passive compares to maxed Cyborg's Fury/Passive.
And I probably won't need both.

I'm thinking I will stop this dungeon and go back to the Labyrinth to grind for yellow bricks to max out Cyborg and Cosmic LoL (to earn Lucifer) rather than waste time and ironite for BHE.
I quit trying to collect them all once I missed Guy Fawkes.

Wave 5
G. Hellraisers (2) one has Valhalla talis that if they kill one of your guys, it revives their ally w/ 60% Hp.

Had to quickly double check this, but the Hellraiser on the left thankfully 'only' has Grail/Riders, not Valhalla. You'll still need to deal with Perfect Sleep though.

I think I got Valhalla on my mind because I don't have them and while repetitively visiting the compendium tali section it's the very first one, so I clicked on it to check it out.
Plus, I don't have Riders either, so I got confused.
In my defense, I'm going to be 50 in January and I smoked alot of weed back in the 80's/90's. 😂

I am likely going to keep going on this one - there is an ironite cost but to be honest it is worth it as I won't have spent that much and I agree with Yup - you get most of it (not all of it) back. I too will get the new BHE in an hour or so and will then go for the T3 and whatever else I can get with what is left over. I was actually considering going for just 2 T2 or if I can a T3 and T2 one for the BHE and one for the awakened Cyborg but maybe not as that shows the height of my lazy ness in moving talisman around...yeah, no I will go for one! LOL

I see regular 10 ironite in the rewards on insanity. NOT the ironite/SoT/Gold etc you see in the first screen, but the actual items in the loot chest. it is usually 10 FC or 10 Ironite if you get the extra item


Has anyone found a magus team for insanity. Finished 2 of 15 manually. Since I'm not bothering with this eddie, thought I'd at least try some of the challenges.

I used Mystic Eddie, Ferryman, M LOL, and... Darkstar Clair I think? maybe not... Basically the best way is to cheese the wins with Doom/trigger doom. It's not great but it did it.

I don’t have any of the (asshole) werewolves, so i went through a lot of combinations before i stumbled upon a “set and forget” team for insanity

Gambler with forge
Malachov with singulatity
WLOL with vipers/cosmic (not fully awakened)
AssBat with starfire

Fastest time is 1min 34secs, but i guess it was a lucky punch, time is usually 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, so not the fastest, but i have been running the dungeon for 6 hours (guessing here) and no losses (relics: 50ish%)

For anyone wanting to hit an Ultimate sacrifice in the December Sac event--

Cyborg Eddies sac for 9000 essence at level 1, 11250 at level 100. (that's 22.5 essence per level up)
500 frags at 29 avg. per Insanity run, that's a Cyborg per 17.241 runs, at 12 SoT per run, that's 206.896 SoT

So, for 45,000 essence (4 Eddies) that's 827.584 SoT

y'all realize all this talk just means the sac event is going to drop shit rewards :) When you get a leg up, best to keep it quiet or they adjust to make it less beneficial.

My own is slow ~3min, and only 98% reliable (Sent Onyx Son occasional gets killed in the first wave), but is getting it done.

Thx for your believing in me and my team buddy. I tried something different based on my madness team and your improvement suggestion:
I changed MLOL against Charlotte and gave her orbits. Just change AWw for another warrior and I can pretty easily finish the warrior achievement for madness.
Works perfectly on insanity. Takes about 2 min in autoplay. Haven’t lost any match out of 15 by now.

Btw: as far as the madness warrior achievement is concerned I changed AWw against KB with warlords/vampiric and cosmic T2 (chance).
Worked perfectly. 100% within 0:50 min. avg.

Thanks DeathDealer. I've only been playing 6 months and trying to keep 1 of every toon I come across so it's sometimes overwhelming to think over 300 characters and who's best to use for what lol. And they just keep coming out with newer shinier toys @_@.

Alright, now the Cyborg dungeon is ancient history, it's time to look towards the future. For the next time-limited event dungeon, most likely Tiny Tim's Revenge later this month, would you like to see anything different or would these simple enemy and talisman combination images be enough to get you started? Shouldn't be too difficult to add people's team recommendations and tactical advice a couple of days into the event for example, once things are all figured out. I really liked Bakura's excellent tactical wave breakdowns on the first page here, I'll try rope him into doing another one of those again!
