We have quite a few headed our way, so let's take a look!

Winter's Bounty: First time in a while for a Brave New World event, and I think we are going to get a cosmic Valkyrie. The cyborg awakening materials can apparently be used for Brave New World characters as well.
Towerfall: We've had this event before, and I'm assuming it'll be a gunner talisman set this time.
Asgardian Assault: Either this is going to be clan related, or this is just some large cross-game event with nordic characters.
Diminished Destruction: Character Evolution event for rewards.
Tiny Tim: I'm not aware of any Christmas Carol maiden songs, so this one is throwing me for a loop. Since there is a later dungeon with this character, perhaps he will have multiple iterations for each class?
Snow and Stars: Snow Talismans and some other rewards for large sacrifices.
Tiny Tim's Revenge: Really, no clue as to what this entire event is going to look like. Hopefully it will be good.
Through Space and Time: Not sure once more, and I hope that it's better than the past boss runs we've had.

Asgardian Assault... could be Hel? An MMO I used to play used her and Krampus for their Christmas themed events.

Heard someone mention Tiny Tim could be a Christmas-themed reskin of the Child of the Damned?

I’ll be skipping the evo event I can tell you that right now. Those are boring as hell.
Boring maybe, but they've already trained me not to evolve things outside of evo events unless absolutely necessary...

Maybe we get awakenable Coalgiver...

cosmic lump of coal (awakenable) and 5 other lumps of coal in the other classes.

Passive: immune to server disconnects if perfect immunity is present on self at beginning of your turn. Remove perfect immunity from self and apply to all allies after every action.

Basic attack: 1 hit of random damage and apply passive disable to self and all enemies for 3 turns.

Power move: 3 hits of random damage and apply perfect disable to self and all enemies for 2 turns.

Looking at the image background and the Tiny Tim events... Could be something to do with A Christmas Carol? I mean, the character dies in the story (Well, when the ghosts show him the future, he's dead) as a result of Scrooge's actions iirc, so I mean the idea of revenge would make sense if it's based around that sort of thing (Or I'm still stuck in the mindset from my English Literature exams from last year XD)

My main thing though is that I really hope Coalgiver gets a much-needed rework. Pretty sure a Sandworm's stronger than him at this point.

We shouldnt need to use Twitter or FB since this is the official site. The devs are just to lazy to do things properly.

I even do not have any accounts in those social medias. So, I’ll get news as last one to know. 🙄

URock is right, the event previews are only posted on twitter or instagram. This is why I link the events so those without social media can see it. As for a coal giver rework, that would be really nice! He is currently the worst Eddie in the game aside from Mummy Eddie, so a buff would be nice.

He’s not alone, I don’t have Facebook never have, no Instagram and no Snapchat and I’m constantly being harassed through email spam to checkout my twitter account which I look at maybe less than once a year... so any news people can drag across to the forums is welcome news to me...!

Considering that this game borders on being an unhealthy gambling addiction, I think it's probably best to NOT have it attached to any of your social media feeds. If you want to play, you have to consciously make the decision to log into the game. App notifications, e.g. "Satellite 15 has returned" can be turned off on your phone. If you want information, you have to consciously make the decision to log into this website. It shouldn't be inserted into your personal life. That's just my two cents.

...

On a lighter note, is December usually one of the "good" Sac event months?

Usually Halloween, Valentine's, and is this the other one?

GrimDusk

I don't remember the sacrifice event from last December, so I couldn't tell you.

Tiny Tim may be related to Borderlands' Tiny Tina

I found the link to last year's... it honestly doesn't seem that special, but maybe it was good? I do like the prospect of buying Charlotte and FFE frags for a cheaper currency.

I've been looking at the other December events and I guess we'll just see what comes.

Tiny Tim may be related to Borderlands' Tiny Tina

Why would it be related to character from an unrelated game? We'd have a better shot of it being related to Tiny Tim the musician.

Calling it now, Tiny Tim's passive is "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" allowing your team to preform any actions without breaking their own vanishes and the enemies sleep.

Tiny Tim will most likely be just another xmas character like the Elf, Wickerdeer, Krampus etc. Think I have used the Elf once and Wickerdeer not much more but Krampus (well the one I have) does get used a lot in Gauntlet.

The events are mostly fine and nice to see BNW back on again - my kids accounts need some upgrade material pretty bad.

Kind of same old same old really and that is fine. I would expect the usual xmas calendar to happen and if it does not that is another sign that we are going to get less in the way of freebies as they usually announce it in the xmas events list I think.

Correction: It was intended as a joke, but I understand the difficulties of conveying that through simple text.

Assurance: That is also partly a joke/reference as well as it mimics HK's speech style

I bet you 38000 cyborg eddie shards that Tiny Tim is a reference to the character in Dickens' A Christmas Carol

That being said. Are we gonna see Scrooge Eddie?

No worries, I picked up on the joke and responded with a joke in kind. As you mentioned I can see how easily it could be construed as a serious comment

Actually not fully true... you can find it in the in-game news-feed (top right corner, next to the configuration symbol, in case you never clicked it before) every 1st of the month.
However, it would indeed be better if this would also be updated in the "Announcements" section of this forum.

That will not be happen until their social media bot learned how to post in this forum.

PS: some people asking on twitter and facebook for help, so shall they copy all posts from here to there?;)

I’m always looking for irony, sarcasm or humor in posts. But I’d never played Borderlands so I had no idea sho you were referencing. Is it a good game? Buggy? Server issues? 😉

The Borderlands series are very good looter shooters, but they are console and PC games, not mobile.

Is it actually at the point where we are congratulating them for actually doing their job. Yes, back in the days of consistently stable servers and promptly responded support tickets (that actually resolved things instead of "that sucks") the event teasers were posted here and if it's already written for twitter and facebook the effort to post it here is minimal.

Yes, I was kinda looking forward to a chance to get Coalgiver. Still time in December but I don't see any hints that it will happen.

GrimDusk

Coalgiver is likely coming in the Tiny Tim's revenge event. There haven't been Christmas Souls yet, which drop him and Krampus. Therefore, this is likely the only event left that will let us get him.

Any idea when the next event will start? Can't recall if they would wait until Friday or a midweek release? I've done 5000 runs in LOL on the awakening stuff I finally started and could use a break. Think I've got most everything for all the LOLs and just need tons of gold.

What would be real helpful in monthly event calendar is give tentative dates that they will be starting. It would be very helpful in planning on game time.

Somebody on Facebook managed to get a screenshot of the new upcoming Christmas soul. Scrooge Eddie is a 5 star Mage, exclusive to the soul, which are purchased using fragments of some sort... I smell another Van Helsing scenario!

The whole point of not giving dates is so we can't plan. Players are less likely to buy ironite during events if they realize they have plenty of time to grind it out from Powerslave

Muzzleloader

I was not referring to the ironite cost that could be conserved or hoarded during an event. I was interested in trying to better manage play time. Not everyone has unlimited play time.

You can grind for Ironite in Powerslave?

druid138

You can grind for Ironite in Powerslave?

Powerslave will drop, on average, about 15 ironite from a full SoT.

It's probably the best non-dungeon for ironite. It only costs 4 SoT and returns a lot of SoT for even more runs.

Also, ironite drops per level are a function of the number of enemies you face (per Sparton long ago). Powerslave has 5 waves with lots of enemies per wave, so ironite drops per run are relatively high.
