Whats you favorite funny moment of Iron Maiden?

Be it a rant, an awkward situation or Bruce just embellishing a story on stage.

For me, it's, Bruce Dickinson, Metal God meets his number 1 fan ,Mullet Man! (https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2z9ivd)

Have a nice day!

Steve: (walking towards tape recorder) "Some cunt's recording this!"
(tape shuts off)

Indeed lol

Also, pretty much anything involving Nicko is gold. The Listen with Nicko collection was really funny & his breakdown of the Legacy of the Beast set list was really entertaining.

“Do you have any hookers?”

“Sorry sir I checked and we’re fresh out of hookers.”

I may be wrong but I believe I read somewhere that Bruce had vocals and melodies for the song Powerslave on that casette. So when Nicko went to smash it he had to grab it away from him. Did anyone else hear anything about that?

There was no FUNNY moment i have to admit. As I saw them live in Frankfurt, it was a very SAD moment. Paid 85 bucks for 40 minutes without hearing them say any ‘Hello’ or ‘Goodbye’ and no encore at the end. Very disappointing ...

One of the things I love from what happened to them is that they played on a wedding in Poland once, but no one there knew who they were. Maybe it doesn't strictly count as 'funny', but imagine IM at your wedding. It would be amazing!(at least for me :) )

I’m not quite sure about the year. Could be 4 or 5 years ago. Time is running so fast at the moment 😂

Yep, it should have been named 22 Gorgonzola Avenue, since it happened in Italiy! lol

I believe The wedding scene is on the history part 1 video. It was on the world slavery tour, it may be on the deluxe Live After death DVD.

The better part was when he was asked about using synths and he said they had no place in heavy metal music. Then they turn around and do Somewhere in Time.

I may be wrong, but wasn't the marriage gig in Poland, Behind The Iron Curtain VHS original release?

Most of it was on 12 Wasted Years VHS - the wedding was in Poland I am sure and also they did the German top of the pops thing where the band swapped instruments as it was a mime gig - the only one playing it straight was Ade. I did laugh at that.

Nicko is a treasure! If the tape had been destroyed, we wouldn't have Horus to beat up on while grinding the kingdom of the sands. Thanks for posting it!

The only reason I'd move to Florida, would be to live near Nicko!

Probably my favorite... They were asked to lip sync Wasted Years at an event in Germany and they didn't want to... So this happened... This video still cracks me up. Especially when Bruce is playing guitar and Steve has the mic. Nico leaving his drums to pick up a guitar is classic as well...
