Sacrifice for rare rewards!

From now until December 21st at 4PM PT, earn bonuses from each tier of Sacrifice, in addition to normal sacrifice rewards:


Tier I sacrifices have a bonus of 1 Snowflake Soul Fragments
Tier II sacrifices have a bonus of 3 Snowflake Soul Fragments
Tier III sacrifices have a bonus of 6 Snowflake Soul Fragments
Tier IV sacrifices have a bonus of 12 Snowflake Soul Fragments
Tier V sacrifices have a bonus of 40 Snowflake Soul Fragments
Tier VI sacrifices have a bonus of 100 Snowflake Soul Fragments
Tier VII sacrifices have a bonus of 200 Snowflake Soul Fragments
Vortexes have a bonus of 500 Snowflake Soul Fragments


Snowflake Fragments are the event currency of our overarching Arctic Avalanche event that is running through the holiday season.

Save your Snowflake Fragments to spend in the Snow Store on rare rewards including Frontier Coins, Catalyst Souls, Awakening Souls, the Ghost of Giving and MORE.

Additionally, complete Sacrifice-themed Event Challenges for rewards including Seventh Son Eddie Fragments, a variety of Key Souls and Celestial Talismans!

Celestial Talismans are blue Talismans with a 5-set effect. Equip these Talismans to block all damage on the first turn of battle. All allies will also have damage taken reduced by 30% after the first turn of battle. This set will also remove Immunity and Inflict ATK and MAGIC Down on each enemy for 1 turn at the start of your turn after the first turn of battle. Finally, Celestial Talismans inflict Doom for 2 turns and Remove Negative Effects, including Silver Effects, from all allies and Heal each ally based on their MR stat at the start of your turn if Seal, Punishment, Force Shield, Titan Shield are active on any enemy.

Need more essence? Head to the Event Store and grab our Stay Frosty Pack for an extra boost for your next Sacrifice. This pack contains six 4⭐ Snowmen in addition to Ironite, a bit of Gold, 5 Skill Shards and 20 Rare Souls! Snowmen currently have an amplified essence value. A maxed out 5⭐ Snowman is roughly the Essence equivalent of a 5⭐ Sacrificial Heart.

Celestial Talismans are also obtainable from the store for Ironite or as an in-app purchase. Did you know you can double or even triple your rewards for a sacrifice? Doing a sacrifice with a higher amount of essence than the minimum required gives you a chance of getting double rewards based on how much you’ve exceeded the essence requirement.

The Blizzard Soul is guaranteed to grant 1 4* Elf of the Damned with a 60% chance of receiving a set of seasonal Snow Talismans and a 40% chance of receiving 600 Talisman Gold Red Legendary Soul Fragments.

Yeah, I didn't really think Muzzle was concerned about that blizzard stuff.
I only mentioned those toons cuz the pic said 2 ways to use the frags.

All those Christmas toons and the snow talis were previously released.
He probably has them already. I do.

The new item is the Ghost of Christmas Giving.

I think he wanted to make sure there wasn't another event exclusive character coming later, that he should save the frags for.

Btw, those Snow talis are cool. I have 2 sets and use them in gauntlet. They grant immunity to stun.
Those and some Heal talis on a character who can cleanse, works for players who dont have Alchemy talis.

We got power subtype of celestials in the LOL mega event. Why the same subtype in this event again? Considering that celestials heal based on MR stat, getting Arcane or Sorcery would have been better.

Of course, I figure there may be OTHER things, besides characters, if they are running it to mid-January.
So I grabbed the Ghost, and the Awakening souls, and am now hoarding until Jan 12.

So glad to finally get hold of a set of Celestials! While they're super annoying to face in the Arena, nice to have one of the most commonly recommended talismans for various PvE dungeons and challenges.

How does this sacrifice event compare to previous ones? Worth going "all in"?

Remind me again how Vortexes work? Did I read something in-game when I first unlocked the Sacrifice Pit that the essence requirement for a Vortex increases each time? Does it eventually stop growing?

The amount of essence needed for a vortex caps at a certain value

Looks like Vortex caps at 100,000.
I had a lot of Essence in this event, and the Vortex went off every 2 Ultimate, or 5 Exalted.

@Azagthor: Every sac event is a big deal, if you're still trying to pull toons from regular souls. To me, the "event rewards" are almost incidental*

Also: S K I L L S H A R D S. I got 89 skill shards in this event.


*eta: although, FIVE ETERNAL KEYS are not too bad, considering they are 175 FC to purchase.

Rolled 700 souls (500 of those came from frozen wasteland) for 10+ vortex. Bought the 10k frag character. Oddly enough the post above says it's a 5 star warrior but i got a 4 star and i don't have the ingredients to evolve it to 5 star -.-

Ghost is a natural 4* character, but most people evolved it and maxed him out before taking screenshots. Being 4* means he could be useful in some of the frontier dungeons that don't allow natural 5* characters to be used.
