From now until January 7th at 4PM PT, complete Event Challenges to earn Snowflake and Cosmic Snow fragments!

Cosmic Snow Fragments are a new Fragment that can be used in 1 of 2 ways.

You can spend 250 of your Cosmic Snow Fragments in the store to claim a T1 Cosmic Blue Talisman with a Snow set-effect.

If you collect 500 Cosmic Snow Fragments, you will be able to claim 1 Cosmic Snow Soul. This Soul has a 90% chance of summoning a T2 Cosmic Blue Talisman (Snow set-effect), and a 10% chance of summoning a T3 Cosmic Blue Talisman (Snow set-effect).

The Snow set effect grants a Snow Shield for 2 turns at the start of battle. It will also give your character Immunity to Freeze, Stun, and Taunt effects.

IMPORTANT: The Frozen in Time Event is the final event in the Arctic Avalanche series (https://forum.ironmaidenlegacy.com/showthread.php?12766-Arctic-Avalanche-Info-and-Discussion), and your last chance to collect Snowflake Soul Fragments. The items available for Snowflake Fragments in the Snow Store will disappear at 4pm PT on January 13th!

its not just event tab, the snow tab is gone along with the awakening packs, eternal key and the 2 new characters are not showing up in frontier store either. a bunch of other stuff as well

anyone planning on even doing this event? i'm not since i dont feel like spending 3,000 sot when this last event was maybe 10,000 so far for me with 1,007 tiny tim dungeon alone

This event I’ll actually pass, as it’s pretty lame. And yes, I realize that’s just my personal opinion. It would be nice though to actually have the Snow part of the store back to spend the 30k plus fragments I have on something, even though it was like shopping a thrift store that didn’t have much in the way of anything worth buying.

The "empty" store appears very often to me, when a new event starts. I had a look at the event tasks... well, looks doable. But: I´m running SSS in Gauntlet and the event tab wants me to clear grade S... so, how shall I do this?? :/

I'll do what ever aligns with whatever event or grinding I'm doing but I'm not going to put any extra effort into wasting time for talisman I'll never use.

You know you can covert the snow frag to souls.. which drop evo runes, SOT, SOW, FC, Ironite, low-end characters, etc along with Blizzard frags... and enough Blizzard frags gets the dark elf AND something else... I've picked up a couple Red/Yellow T2/T3 cosmics from Blizzard frags.

Hahah, I spent the last three days doing 1,000 event dungeon runs. And the day after I finish as Spend 3000 SoT event starts. What timing!

Still, 3000 is only 5 mega-refills. Could easily use that in LoL XI+ or one of the other dungeons. You know what, this could be a good time to pop a whole bunch of those Daily Dungeon keys!


While this one is for a cosmic snow talisman, and not the two cosmic characters from the last event like this, I think I prefer how this one is being run. You can still get a reward if you're only able to complete half of the challenges. Last time, you had to do all of them in each section to get the characters. This is much better, having both sides of the event reward the same fragments.

It's an interesting one hey. Hard to judge how much keys are worth, but it's certainly nice seeing a cheaper-than-usual pack full of things. Overall you'll get:
8 x Trooper Key
8 x Gangland Key
8 x Infernal Key
1,000 SoT
100 SoW

Yeah, that will be the point :/ I need to remember to battle the gauntlet at the last weekend of its term to not fall into these issues ;)

Concerning the Arena task I lowered my defense, so meeting me will give you the gunner only reward easily (and makes me fall down to reach this goal, too)

Back to store I invested some of the snowflake frags into useful stuff but I´m still sitting on some rest, but the rewards for opening these souls are ok, so I run that christmas dungeon some more time and look what benefit I´ll gain from it.

Great achievements for mid to lower players though I suppose. I mean if EVERY team didn't have Moonchild on it, then it wouldn't be so bad.

When you convert snow frags to souls, you get snow souls.. when you drop Snow souls in the BOS, you get Blizzard frags... when you get 500 Blizzard frags you can get a Blizzard soul. The Blizzard soul drops the dark elf AND something else. There's no relation to any sacrifice. It's all souls and frags... I've picked up 2 red/yellow cosmic talismans and 800 awakening frags, and a couple hundred Frontier coins from Blizzard souls (and yes dupe dark elfs as well with decent sac value)

..... but yes, you'll get snow characters you'll probably just sacrifice. However, Snow Souls ALSO contain other things.. SOT, SOW, Evo Runes, Ironite, FC, IC... etc... along with the wickerdeers / dice / snowmen....

Probably not something you want to start out with, but if you've already gotten everything you want or can from the snow tab in the store.. it's a viable way to spend those remaining snow frags. Heck even merely converting snow frags to souls for the extra stuff -- SOT/SOW/etc -- may be better than spending frags in the store in some cases.

You're not wrong, expect for the last part. Takes 10,000 snow frags for 50 snow souls, the same amount the Red Ghost cost. The Blizzard soul has the elf, and a 60% chance for a set of Snow talismans, and 40% chance for 600 Legendary Red Gold Tali fragments.

Snow Souls are interesting as it's the only time I can remember the dev's releasing actual hard drop numbers with this chart they posted in the mega-event thread? Would love to see more of this in the future.

I don't think it is a 'Dark Elf' though? It is a simple old Elf of the Damned so not a new character but the same one we had last year? I may still go thris route with what I have to get the extras as the shop stuff is not of much use to me really.

Cool, I thought that was the case. I have a couple of them I think already from last time round.....still the Assassin Krampus is missing for me, again! I cannot be bothered to chase him anymore this year! Four Gunner versions though but I did get the rest so I am not going to grumble too much - only two through from the actual souls - I had to grind the rest with frags but I got there and actually got dupes of nearly all of them except Scrooge.

Still, to be fair the new characters are really pretty decent though not used the Eddie yet.

Almost done with the Event. Just one more Gunner Battle and spending a handful of SoT.... Not very excitet about the coming Talisma yet, as far as my T3 Talisman are namend Special 25+ and Def+ :/ (so hungry for Vampiric to complete my Moonchild :D )
It did cost the income of daily Ironite for SoT refills (Trooper and Gangland), so it was ok - depends on the Talisman I´ll pull ;)

Spending the SoW I used the shortcut buying frags from the Arena store. As far as the "Clear Stage S on Gauntlet" seems to be fixed (or it just disappeared) I´m not sure if I´ll be running 200 SoW in that few days.

Thanks to all who put on a weak defence for completing the Gunner Challenge. I´ll keep mine up two more days, so hurry meeting me, in case you want to run that event.

Anyone else notice the "Clear Gauntlet Grade S"
challenge missing?

I'm actually sitting on grade S for over a week, just putting it off. This would have been easy, but it's gone.

Not sure if it's a mistake or if newbies protested it and they removed it.

Also, I believe Sentinel Elf of the Damned is the official Sentinel Child of the Damned.
He actually rounds out a CotD for each color.
Just my opinion.

The Gauntlet one was a stretch goal and didn't reward talisman fragments, same as the Infernal Dungeon stretch goal.

Could be a mistake? Accidentally removed, or accidentally included in this event instead of the upcoming Arena/Gauntlet event.

Yeah I'm confused too. I cleared grade S but saw the challenge wasn't there anymore. Now the goal is back but still shows 0/1 and incomplete even though I already cleared it. I don't get it...
