I've been running the required talisman sets on ride-along Mummy Eddie and Pharaoh Ramses. I've been running things the whole day with Soccer Eddie, Killer Prime, Necropolis and Maclo. Fastest time has been 1:06. Typical time under 2 minutes. I've been through it nearly 100 times thus far and have died twice. Don't forget that you can complete another challenge (achievement) by running Ascension talisman within Frontier Dungeons.

Times are varying from 1:26 to 2:40 but are usually up to 2 minutes.

B.Breeg with Impulse
Horus with Limbo, Blight and T3 Immunity (high attack and magic)
Killer Prime with Greed and Warlord
MACLO with Forge and T2 Blind (high attack and magic)

I need to say that I roughly have half of all relics and Green ones are the least invested ones, so I don't have any category above 5th level, nor did I have moneyZ to invest into event ones (perhaps if they're still around it would be a good investment). Perhaps the times would drop for someone with the same setup and full relics.

Yeah, that's AI... but gunner ones are the most invested relics I've got, yes :o (feels like I did a pause just when IC's were pouring like rain).

Won't have much time for Arena though... one loss today for Daily reward and back to grinding we go...

I kind of like that Limbo set for its potential of extra attacks and criticals, Horus could grow up to be a bomber...

Haha! Of course right after I wrote that, I've been losing more frequently with the same build. So strange. It's like the computer AI changed. The key is to kill that 5th wave quickly because if they don't die right away they stay alive for awhile. If SET gets vanish, then it becomes high chance of loss. I think I may rather have quicker runs and the occasional loss than less losses but longer times (especially with the expense of these dungeons).
And yes--I am awakened! So, I got to do this event to the maximum!

I found a way to use all toon for achievements and never lose on AUTO. Times are between 2:00 and 4:00, but it will more 4 minutes fights. I have all relics maxed.
Soccer ED - marks, angel
Horus - penance, blight, echo
Anubis - artifact, snow
Ghost - limbo, sacred immunity

It is a chance to run faster with valhala and cosmic angel on Soccer Ed or replacing the echo with angel cosmic on Horus. I can't test it :(
Ghost works with fortune & sacred, too.

So I'm finally finishing up my 4th key without a loss. Quick time is 1:04, average is about 1:30.

Soccer ed - valhalla/angel cosmic
Horus - Blight/mark/echo cosmic
Ghost - fortune/sacred
KP - greed/warlord

Use mummy and pharaoh as ride alongs with the talisman requirements

A few comments:

KP could likely have sustaining/inspiration or blight/sacred with the warlord instead of greed.

Horus is a puzzle. My Horus was at level 10 until I finished the talisman runs, then I maxed him. Honestly I think the best Horus to use is a level 5 without any awakening. Ramesses cleanses any ally with silver effects. Horus level 6 adds the chance of silver stuns instead of just regular stuns. This actually has the potential to make the final wave harder. On the flip side, Horus hits like a freight train when he is woke. Choose your own path.

Future cosmic guarantees Horus stuns but echo triggers also gives a very high chance and it deals more damage. But a future cosmic is an alternative to echo if needed.

Soccer Eddie is significant here. However, if you don't have that, I have found Piece of mind Eddie is solid, if not a good bit slower (2:30-4:00) I used Frontier/cosmic boost. You want PoM to always be casting his fury.

Ghost is incredible here. There is a possibility he gets a passive disable applied on the Nomad wave and that is the only chance to have any ally die. For this reason, I refer Valhalla on Eddie. High chance that you dead ally gets revived.

Regarding Valhalla, if you don't have it, I have heard success with primordial or yin/yang. I also assume space would work but do not know of anyone who has tried it.

Just noticed this but the talismans on Rammesess are BS.
He has 3 green slots but has a red 3 set and a yellow 2 set (Unless the past talismans are the 3 set and redemption is the cosmic)

I haven't seen anything about a cosmic redemption.
I put on page 1 that the Past was a cosmic, cuz they had them in the store recently.
If there is a cosmic redemption or sacred, I'll have to edit the talisman pic.

It could be they are going off his previous tali slots, he used to be similar to S. Mayan priestess.... like 2 red / 1 green or vice versa.

The bosses & allies in event dungeons always have abnormal talis going on... similar to gauntlet.

It's really his passive that is the real obstacle.... or used to be.
That setup I just posted makes this a breeze now.

It's sometimes possible to tell which talismans are Cosmics by looking at a characters stats in the pre-fight wave information screen. The stat boost they get often relates directly to their talismans, which are almost always max level 5*. It doesn't really make much of a difference, but it can be a vaguely interesting way to look under the hood.

Nice to see team times are coming right down, and a bigger variety of teams too! Still not quite sure if I'll be able to join in myself yet, but starting to look slightly more possible than before.

lol, they are even lazier than me writing annual reports :D

I tried the new suggested team. Can be pretty fast, but also can take up to 3 mins when you have bad luck. Moreover I just had a defeat :/

Ok, this Team worked so great, I updated the page 1 Team suggestion and in game pics!

This setup was way faster and much more stable.... never close to dieing.

Best time- 1:12
Avg.- 1:30

Credit goes to the Clan Hivemind.... I'm just the one who posted it! I have had 6 keys no losses now, and pretty much dead on 53 runs/key quick time has dropped to 1:00 dead... Cant seem to break the 0:50's though

As Raz pointed out, there is a redemption cosmic. Unfortunately it seems that (some of) the cosmics they offer for purchase are much stronger and definitely worth the purchase :-/

Similar to my Angel Cosmic I showed you. Just more pay to play benefits, but whatever.

My runs with this setup (Soccer Ed has Ascension cosmic, don't have Angel): 2:03, 3:00, 1:45, 1:47, 2:03

Best time- 1:12
Avg.- 1:30

Soccer/Football Ed- Valhalla/Cosmic
Horus- Purge/Blight/Cosmic
KP- Greed/Warlords
S. Ghost- Alchemy/Cosmic

When I tried this setup to a variation in cosmics, i got: 2:26, 1:47, 1:30, 2:30, 1:51, 1:51, 2:42

Shifting cosmics a bit to have Immunity on Horus did a new best time of 1:24, followed by: 1:41, 1:39, 1:25, 2:34, 1:54, 2:31, 1:33...

It definitely seems better than my old setup and I'll stick with it, but damn those relics :D

I gave Horus a set of Angles, as I saw the Ghost die once in a while in the boss wave and the rest of the team was stunned one round too much which caused 2 defeats.
Maybe I find a better cosmic for the ghost somewhere on another character, but in general I have bad luck with cosmics. Opened 10 regular ones today, 7 epic and one mythical and got no yellow or red, not one t3 (apart from the mythical) and almost exclusively the lousy % effects (especially the mythic... white t3 with 15% MR, exactly the same I already had...what a big BS!)

My times are pretty consistent - fastest is 1:01 (so close lol). Normally times are around 1:20 - 1:50 or so. I tried a few different cosmics but only when I get the odd defeat - just to see if it makes a difference. I went past the ascension target so have used a few others with the Ghost based team approach and it seems solid. I got the odd defeat yesterday - in four keys maybe 4 or 5 defeats. None so far today but just one key used so far but not changed the team either so it is maybe just RNG that goes against you from time to time. Not too bothered about the odd defeat, one per key is fine. I'll know where I am after this key but must be close to 250 or so runs I think.

Not really sure what buy yet either - someone said that the awaken mats are in Awaken souls so maybe less of an issue to go for them too hard - maybe get one or two. Not sure on trying for two T3 or one T3 or maybe 2 T2 for each character. I cant see me going for all of it for sure - not wanting to spend all that ironite when it is needed elsewhere.

Ive tried every conbination i can think of using Aubis. I just cant find a consistent team to use on auto with him. has any one tried the horus store cosmic in dungeon yet? I might get the t1 cosmic now if it makes the dungeon easier.

Virtual XI - Valhalla/Cosmic Echo

Mummy Ed - Avenger/Titan (backseat)

Pharaoh Ed - Purge/Sacrificial (backseat)

Horus - Sustaining/Mark/Cosmic Snow

Maclo Bot - Forge/Cosmic AtkXMag

Anubis - Artifact/Cosmic Ascention

This team is somewhat reliable on Auto, but I like to switch to manual during Horus and make sure I have power and fury for the next round. On last round I use Horus power move which inflicts passive disable on set, if it doesn't then Ed's fury should. Once Set's passive is knocked down Maclo can one shot Ramses sometimes, but Anubis can finish him off if not. This is a little work, but gets the Anubis part of the challenge as well. The talis in the backseat ed's count so you get all 4 of those event challenges and all the achievements as well. After you get all 300 battles you can switch to a faster auto team. This can take up to 5 minutes on full auto, but with me running the last couple rounds I average around 2:30ish. I got 30 battles in for my last key, 100% wins. Please note that my Horus is awakened with 4 purple stars, this may be necessary to get the passive disable on his power move. Virtual Ed also inflicts passive disable with his fury but I had more luck hitting with Horus' power move first.

I know that anubis is a challenge, but that can be done anytime. I would focus and completing as many runs as you want . Keys will probably be available later so the cost of purchase wont become a factor. I would definetly use Eddie's as a ride along with required talisman.

1. get the 6 Powerslave Awakening Shards
2. get enough Powerslave Fragments to buy Cosmic Horus Talisman T3
3. get enough Powerslave Fragments to buy Cosmic Nomad Talisman (T1...even with a T3 Nomad is lame, right?)

4. Do the achievement with Sentinel Anubis somewhere in time to get Ramesses (or next time in Heroic Soul rotation?)

OK, I am at work. So I was interrupted by a few phone calls but only managed to complete merely 9 runs in this powerslave dungeon with my first 2 hour key.

I do not have malco and horus. I am lacking Mexico Eddy (only have Argentina) and S LOL as well (my roster wasn't strong enough to grind on auto play back then).

So I have to do it with Benj Breeg ED (Brave T) and X-mas Ghost.

I just got Killer Prime with the boxing day discount but I do not have the greed T to accompany Warlord T.

I played a few rounds with my Horus and malco troopers, the others I played with my Onyx Son (singularity).

I never came close to losing a toon but this dungeon takes for ages. Auto play hardly makes it quicker for me now

Considering to put skill shards on my Piece of Mind ED but I merely have 16 for the moment and you need 25 of them to shard him complety which makes I need to be lucky.

Considering to expirement with Anubis with Artifact. Anubis passively heals a random toon every round so he might power up my killer prime but in a few rounds the ennemy applies crave ... so this can work against me

How the fuck can I obtain those awakening shards? Impossible to reach 150 runs during this event and also lacking sacifcial and avenger T's

They just made the dungeon easier, so your in luck.

The Awakening shards will be in Awakening souls.... so you're not screwed.... go for the Horus T1-T3.... they are event exclusive.

Also, for $10 each, you can buy a T1 cosmic with Avengers or Sacrificial abilities... if you can't get them w/ FC right now.

Plus, the challenges are repeatable, so frag drops could be endless.

Yes, like at 100 runs you've hit ten 10s, four 25s, two 50s, and one 100. For 1,000 frags. Fifty runs later, 2,000 frags and 4 keys drop in your BoS all at once. At first, you get very little return for a couple of keys.

BUGS all the time

I have issues with the clan skulls a few days in a row

And in the arena it seems that the celestial T doesn't always work to block the damage from the starfire T

Only could play the frozen wastland dungeon on hard on maddness the game always got stuck

If Anubis gets attacked by Nomad & Co. , he usually dies...
but doesn't matter Valhallas bring him back if he doesn't get permadeath... besides this team kicks butt.

Anubis dieing really is no big deal... I get faster times with him dieing than using Ghost w/ Alchemy to keep him alive.

But who's complaining?

I am ashamed of that offer. One, which means 1, uno (!) rare soul (plus 24k gold) for 2,29€. That's the worst offer in history. Can we exchange the other way round? Apparently my inventory is worth more than 2.000 € now from the rare souls alone. Pathetic.

which will fall in the Awakening souls anyway.

... and yes, I'd gladly sell a ton of rare souls for cash.... they're not worth the gold to open them.

I recently converted 800 magus frags in hopes of getting gold idols.
Saving other frags for when i get desperate for gold.

I use the Soccer/Horus/Ghost-Team and Anubis (Penance+Greed).
Penance is fine with "35% chance to inflict Passive Disable on up to 2 enemies for 2 turns every turn".

LOL, I really love that new sentinel Gambler :D

I now use Anubi with Penance, Sustain and Ascension in my team to get all the achievements done. He can die in the Nomad wave if they go first and focus on him, but he is revived by Valhalla normally (if there is no permadeath, which can happen).
Fastest was 1:11 sofar.

I too started getting defeats from Nomad stage with the team I had posted above (soccer, horus, kp, anubis)
but since i don't need Horus aymore, I use Ghost w/ Alchemy (cleanse the blind from horus.)

100% on auto
Anubis only team (finished w/ other required toons)

Best time 0:59
avg. 1:15 - 1:30

They also said that for both Cyborg and Beast materials and they both appeared in souls a little bit later

It's pointless. You can not get anything from this event unless you spend spend spend.. either in ironite for Mega-SOT refills or by directly purchasing frags.

Using natural accruing SOT.. I've managed a total of less than 200 runs. Events aren't set up so players achieve anything. Then there's EXTRA if you spend more.. no, they are set up with spending required. There should be 2 thresholds.. one that everyone can achieve -- like get the awakening materials for Horus..... and a second that would require money, like also get the Horus cosmic. This event, you will most likely get nothing more than the per-run rewards and a couple of the more minor achievements without spending. There's ZERO chance you can get any of the cosmics or awakening materials without spending.

I'm still having issues in the second wave, mostly when the enemy attacks first because the nomad kills my Eddie; my team is below:
Benjamin Breeg: frontier/cosmic prime
Horus (awakened 3*): artifact/cosmic echo
KP: frontier/cosmic echo
Witch doctor: labyrinth/cosmic prime

The nomad team can be deadly, the Desert Sniper hits harder the more buffs you have. If you have them, putting Forges on your Withc Doctor should help. I've been using Celestials on the Onyx Son, which keeps me alive for their first attack. Other people have had success using the Christmas Ghost.

I don't recall seeing this mentioned, but the Powerslave Awakening materials don't appear to be in Awakened Souls.
They will added to the awakening souls, one of the devs confirmed this in another thread somewhere.

His cosmic can really help allies. Maybe he can be useful in gauntlet.
I can't say I ever used him much before.... I just fully sharded last week.

I've got Horus maxed w/T3 on my arena defense already winning or getting draws.

Nomad T3 maxed.

Just finished the 300 runs w/ Ramesses.

Might as well get the stretch goals done during the event, cuz the rewards are greater.

Probably won't finish the maxed Horus goal....need to save some ironite for Trooper's Respite.... it's coming soon.... I can feel it in my bones.

Overall.... it's been a great event!

I got some much awaited toons in my birthday month.

It depends where you are at in the game. You will never be able to get tha talisman again, so the T3 is probably the best bet. The evo mats will be available in the future. Eventually you will be grinding LoL dungeons or others that give awakening frags to buy souls. The talisman will be ineffective until to max him any way, but do you have the evo mats to maxe awaken horus?

Guys, i was able to grind for 4k frags. Would you recommend I go with T1 Horus +6 awakening shards or go for T2 and 4 shards or T3 Horus talis +1 shard. Is there a really big step in stats between T1-T2-T3? I got enough evo material and awakening frags to fully awake him.

well I´d go always talis over shard, you´ll have the opportunity later for shards... unless your priority is to Awakening Horus to his max right now in that case maybe t2 plus shards..

I was almost on the same spot than you and I choose t2 for both Nomad and Horus, but I have no intention to Max Awakening Horus straight away...

The main difference is in the stat increase % & damage reduction %.... it's like T1: 20%/10%, T2: 30%/20%, T3: 50%/30% in stat increase/damage reduction.

*Always* opt for the cosmic talisman first. You may never see it again.

The awakening things will appear again. And max awakened Horus, while good, is not a "game-changer" overall. He'll still be viable if max awakened later.

Thanks for your suggestions. I decided to go with the T3 for horus. I’ll fully awaken Cyborg or Beast first (I have all the special shards for them). Powerslave was a nice dungeon to grind. Liked the overall drop rate. Got Ramesess. If it weren’t for the 3 free keys I was about to skip this event, it was too expensive in frontier coins without them.

The Cyborg Cosmic talisman has just come back for the this month's character fragment event https://forum.ironmaidenlegacy.com/showthread.php?13029-Character-Fragment-Event-featuring-the-DEBUT-Gunner-Caria-Woman-in-Uniform . A little sooner than most of us expected, and rather expensive. But there is hope for those who missed out the first time around.

Horus is one of the "god's of egypt" characters in the Frontier store and available for purchase with Frontier coins. He is also now Awakenable. The Horus cosmic talisman is best suited for this character and when he is fully maxed. The cosmic abilities will not work on any other character or un maxed Horus.

Nomad is a Warrior character available in various types of souls.... he is pretty standard. They recently boosted his stats and passive. The Nomad cosmic talisman effects only work on a 5* lvl 100 Nomad.

Ramesses is a "passive only" version of Pharaoh Ed that is now earnable in this dungeon, there is no specific cosmic for him.... any will do.

For anyone still reading and sweating, with a pile of Powerslave Keys rusting because they're worried about Power Level: fear not. Beating this Dungeon is actually somewhat trivial since the nerfing of the final wave (if you've been playing as long as I have... and a lot of ya'll have apparently been playing much longer). Most people probably have a Piece of Mind Eddie, seeing as how he was featured during a sacrifice event and has been around for ages? Great. Here was my Super Turtle Team:

Christmas Ghost (Fortune, Warlord)
Christmas Ghost (Alchemy, Cosmic)
S. Onyx Sun (Celestial, Cosmic)
PoM Ed.: (Artifact, Cosmic)

That's right. I used all the silly things. My average run time was about 2min15sec.

Is this a great team? No. But the Ghosts could really be replaced by other Turtlely stuff pretty easily (I use a Desert Gaurdian in my Arena Defense Team still/Sentinel has all sorts of options like this) and PoM Eddie plus a few tricks was plenty of power to get through the dungeon. Listen: I don't have Killer Prime. I don't like the Sentinel class. I... sort of made it work.

The only thing that is really necessary (or ... recommended, probably not "necessary") is Artifact on PoM. And if you're worried about the dungeon breaching your defenses (as I was), a Revive unit (Onyx Son did double duty that way) + some babysitting should put your mind at rest. (I would have suffered a few losses w/out babysitting. But hey - this is the shiny, new, hard dungeon for which I'm "missing" all the "recommended toons," in a class I have trouble wrapping my head around, and it really wasn't too, too hard to solve... (first team set-up))
