This is the main post to discuss tuning changes that are in an upcoming update.

Moonchild nerf seems kinda pointless, since a lot of perfect hit characters are currently in the arena and it's easy to get perfect hits as a player. Extra turn fix is a good change, glad to see that being addressed. Alliance General changes make very little difference to the character as a whole, but nonetheless it's interesting. Midgard Talismans should be a 6 set; way too powerful to have that effect plus a cosmic. Niefelheim talismans look quite interesting, but I won't get to use them right away. Also, I'm surprised the Wicker Man was the next person to get awakening.
EDIT: Also, Part I? There's enough time for another part?

Now Killer Prime or adding fury to Awakened Angel+Gambler Ed would be nice instead of breathing life into lukewarm losers that will not be worth the significant investments required for awakening.

I'm actually kind of interested. I still can't beat the Raven dungeon. An awakenable character might help until I can get Shadow Wickerman Eddie.

Have you tried the teams in the cheat sheet? Soccer ed is really important for that dungeon.
Actually talismans can help more than specific characters...
My Current Raven's Alter auto-play team...
Guy Fawkes Ed (Bonfire/Tranquility/Cosmic Nightmare)
M Onyx Son (Celestial/Cosmic MAG +15%)
S Onyx Son (Oracle)
W Onyx Son (Ragnarok/Cosmic Echo)
No losses and much faster than using Soccer Ed. Bet time: 1:12 Avg Time: 2 min
The Ragnaroks and Celestials are the key.
Looking to pick up a second W Onyx Son which I'll put Viper talismans on and swap it for the S Onyx Son. Also thinking about swapping M Onyx for A Onyx wearing Starfires. It could be faster.
Of course, none of this does anything to assist with the CONSISTENT crashing in the Raven's Alter dungeon.
I too don't really see any benefit to spending millions in gold to awaken Wickerman who hasn't been useful in a couple years. I guess we can expect Awakenable demon spawns soon.

You cant use assassin or gunners in the ravens alter. An average below 1:20 is a slow run. I was getting that time before ragnarock were released. I dont have guy fawkes or bonfire so I cant comment on that team.

I tried Soccer ed and he barely stayed alive until the end.
Guy Fawkes died sooner than Soccer and I don't have either the talismans or characters from the cheat sheet.
I really set myself back by going on 70000 Tons in 2019 instead of grinding that orginal event for ferryman and Shadow Wicker man.
Not a bad choice though. Live music beats a broken app any day.

Alliance General changes make very little difference to the character as a whole, but nonetheless it's interesting.
Yes, always nice to see buffs to easier-to-acquire characters. It'll still take a little while to earn him through Trooper Badges, but every little change could make him worth the effort for those who don't have him yet.
Niflheim looks like an anti-Ragnarok/Viper set?
You need Celestial talismans.. or Alchemy talismans.

What works best for me on the Raven dungeon is Forge talisman, that will put permadeath on them and die instantly if they are ghosted. I have it on Maclo and love it.
Why do you keep changing characters that doesn't need to be change????
Moonchild was just fine, it was an excellent character, and you are making him a "meh" character.
Why don't you address the Killer passive that is behaving as it pleases, ignoring other characters passives? Or Musashi's that won't get his passive disabled at all.
On the General I think instead of changing him so much you should make him awakenable and push those changes there.

-Thks for fixing the extra turns thing, btw so what's the limit for extra turns?
-Again nerfing bat hitting Raven Which? If you are setting an extra turn limit for all chars, why are you nerfing her extra turns skill? I really don´t understand... All in all, she´s not so powerfull (even awakened) anymore...
-Good for working on A. General, but still he is to behind for today's chars, but nice on working with the oldies.
-Agree with Grimdusk, nerfing again moonchild... pointless
I mean, if you play arena today one of the main issues (besides bugs everywhere) is the booooring amount of time you need to play every single battle, with the introductions of OP chars and specific cosmic talismans there are almost no variation among teams, and chars like Musashi are so hard to take down, that now like ever before you got to end up in draws after draws afters draws.
Meanwhile, The Killer is still breaking passives against the whole enemy team at the same time, also applying/overriding passive in situations when shouldn't be possible, but on the other hand, looks like Musashi passive can only be disabled at the start of the battle, and that isn't stated in his talisman description (so, one more time, it is bug or is intended?).
Most of the skils (after revived) are working totally unpredictable and random...vand I might go on, we know you are working hard on solving issues but it takes a lot of our patience to see you making changes that are reflected in the game.
-Thks for the increasing drop in the Frontiers Dungeons and new achievements are also welcome to keep the game rolling.
-Looking forward to see what can Wickermen awake can do!

The Alliance General buff is nice, but nothing to get excited about.
I've been trying him out in arena here and there in the last two weeks, but his small health pool makes him fall over rather quickly. Even with the big amount of added health of a green 5-set.
On top of that, his cosmic still gets disabled by The Killer's passive.

Oh yes, that was my first thought aswell :D This will be great! But don't forget the meatheads!!
Wickerman is the Boss from the first world in the game, that's the only reason I see to make him awakenable (and it's a good song, but that's not the thing with Maiden).
But if I would decide on that, I would mainly awaken characters that are very iconic for the Maiden lore and great characters from the original state of the game that need more love than just a few tunings. Good examples are Prisoner (check), and e.g. the Alliance General, the Nomad (he was really great in the beginning and I did not have him. Since I got him I did not even put skill shards on him), the original Ed, maybe Grim Reaper and Cyborg (check). Then the Beast, maybe Moonchild (without breaking the meta!) and Hallowed Ed for that fantastic song. I also would have made the eternal characters awakenable instead of doing these copy versions. But yeah, they have different ideas obviously.
Always good to see increased drop rates, but it is getting a bit old to see that it needs several steps until the drop rate reaches a level so that the iteams can drop at all.

bring back the fury power to Soldier Ed, why the hell he was nerfed is beyond me, having a fury that deals so much less damage than his basic power is stupid

I just noticed that the Samurai Frontier Key Soul is in the frontier section of the store, last key next to the redemption talismans. (250 FC)

Personally, I like the idea of an awakenable wicker man, was my first 4* toon, so I have a special appreciation for that guy :-D

Hell awakening shards still not droping in infernal dungeon.?! last weeks i did over 1.2k runs there and not a single one droped… after yesterdays update used 2 keys (100+runs) and still nothing…

Before the update, I did 300+ runs of the Infernal dungeon and received no hell awakening shards. Since the update, I have done 58 runs and received 3. If you're still not getting any, it's probably just bad luck.
