doom effect not applying

So i was wondering if anyone has noticed doom is not completely working, i've triggered it with madam fortune's power and have had it count down to 0 and with both of those the enemy toon dies but then either their health bar/new effects come back, the target circle at the bottom of them, or their attacks show afterward and you then have to re kill them?
