Top 3 Eddies in the game

Just like it says, who would you currently rank as the top 3 Eddies in LOTB?


Having recently returned after several years, I can't answer this one myself yet. On my new account I got Cyborg and Oni. I know Cyborg isn't what he used to be, but I'm thrilled to have him have since he used to be my white whale!

Anyway, I look forward to hearing perspectives on this!

LAD is boring... with ONE overpowered move. Without LADs fury, no one would be using him.

Depends a lot for what, In my opinion, LAD is a beast only for pvp and only at this moment, he is a fury guy nothing else, probably next char anty-LAD is going to leave him obsolete

1-Cyborg (Maxed)
He is the total package, even with LAD around he´s still a monster in pvp and pve, he has got fury, passive and a specific cosmic for him. He got it all ;D
2-Football Eddie
(The Underdog) not seen in pvp, but a must for any frontier dungeon today. Also, he comes in every color :P Super useful for real-
3-I can't decide among Eternal Champ/Van Helsing/Gambler they are also so useful both pvp and pve... VHE maybe takes the lead, with him you can farm the highest lvls of Lol without a problem.

Honor Mention, Alex <3 I´m maybe not impartial because it is my fav. Truth is he´s falling behind lately, he´s not so endurable (?) as he used to be. But yet a safe choice for almost everything you need.

EDIT: THor Eddie, I haven´t play around with him, so cant tell sry.

In the Eddie's I have, I have to go with Scream for Me, Gambler and Number of the Beast. Oni dies too easy, but deals a lot of damage before death.

Thor Eddie is very weak on defense. Only good on offense. So he's a good cosmos and gauntlet Eddie, good arena offense, poor arena defense.
Same thing with Scream For Me Eddie, but actually subpar, because of all the innate immunity that's going on right now.

LAD is boring, but very good. Only because of his fury.

The top three Eddie's depends on the use you want. Farming BNW will use different Eddie's then the arena.

Fallen Icarus is almost better than Navigator for farming.
AOE attacks all over, but he will not die and is not as hard on any blocker.
Bounty Hunter is a machine in PVP attack, both with his permanent stun on one toon and as an energy powerhouse from round one. He also will not die with the right talis.
After this, it gets a littly muddy, so I'd say Pharaoh maybe, for sentimental reasons. He was my first 5* Eddie and helped me through the story mode early on.
His update was quite OK, of course he is not top notch now, but can still be useful in Gauntlet.

Navigator wipes out 99.9% of everyone everywhere with 1 attack when paired with proper allies ... so..... And I find Navigators attack faster than all of FIE...But to each his own :)

To start with, it is hard to rank top 3 overall because most eddies are specialists (which is a good thing imo)

1 - I believe max awakened Cyborg wins this, he is effective everywhere.
2 - Then we have a specialist: LAD Eddie is the current arena specialist and very effective.
3 - I would place Van Helsing at third place, great passive + damage + survival skills.

I haven't tested the Thor Eddie yet.

About the farmers, Navigator is a nostalgic one and still can be reliable.
But if you use Blight set on any eddie with AOE basic, you can turn them into a speed farming machine (saving time from using power & fury animations)

Currently I run Beast Eddie with Blight & Shadows, along with an ally having eternal or yggdrasil set (to activate shadows) and it is blazing fast.

Not used Navigator on my farming for a very long time now - I think I dropped him when he could not do the final daily quests and stay alive all the time - but that was a long time ago for sure. I swapped to Van Helsing and then Scream for Me. Not even sure who I have now - think it is NOTB.

Not sure who you pair him with but due to his AOE attack he is useful. Will maybe need to get him down of that dusty shelf!

Scream for me and one AOE monster usually does all my farming - usually Lilith Moonlight though I think it is NOTB I have just now.

So for me at the moment I would have:

LAD for arena
Scream for me
NOTB

My kids have lower level accounts and they don't have these Eddies so they often focus on what can hold which talismans that they have that are strong. So for both of them they often use Alexander (Orbit/Ragnarock), Benjamin Breeg (Artifact), Hallowed (Orbit/Ragnarock), 2 Minutes (Labs/Forge), Beast (Labs/Forge) and Phantom (Labs/Forge). One of them also has Scream for me so Labs on him too.

So for them the key is a decent Eddie but one that can hold various sets of stronger talisman they have on their roster.

Pharaoh was my first 5* on the old account and my favorite for most of the ride. Some great nostalgia with him for me too!

You make a great point about the talis. They sure have become more powerful and complex since I originally played. There is much for me to learn!

I appreciate reading everyone's insights on Eddies -I'm learning a lot! I also appreciate seeing how creative and adaptive people are being with characters and add-ons.

I use NotB Eddie with blight talismans for farming. It's faster and does more damage than navigator

Coming from what Eds I own:

1) Cyborg Max, since Bounty Hunter got wrekt with all the counter toons to his passive.
2) Alex. The King of Cosmos, the bearer of Orbits, the OG of "can't give me that" passives for Eddies. He just works. And he's on a horse, c'mon.
3) Mystic. Celestial Talis are tailor made for him, coupled with chars with high special and extra turns, he's a Doom machine. Great for a tank team // Silvers. Also, Gunner Anubis is a total bro.

Honorable: Hallowed//Clansman: No, my turn hasn't ended yet. Yes, I can do this forever.

As for the other Eddies thrown around here, like LAD... he's just all over the place with a superb fury. Leads to weird teams.

Awakened Viking Eddie Hype however! Let's hope he's good enough to make him wear something other than earthquake talis ;P
