Earn Pilgrim Soul Fragments and other Rare Rewards in the Gauntlet.

Our seventh Gauntlet season starts now and will run until July 19th at 5pm PT. Battle through 11 Grades of Gauntlet, each presenting unique challenges and rewards to earn a place on our Ranked Leaderboard. The Ranked Rewards for Season 7 will feature Pilgrim Fragments, in addition to other rewards.

You will have 10 weeks (until the end of Season 7) to earn enough Pilgrim Fragments from the Gauntlet to summon him, after that he will be much more difficult to obtain, as he won’t be featured in any other soul.

The Pilgrim is a 5 star Magus hero-class ally with extremely potent skills. The Pilgrim carries the burden of his mystical tome, which manifests its power upon his flesh. Having spent decades collecting knowledge on his enemies, he excels at dealing MAX HP damage, and disabling or removing effects from his foes in battle.

His power ability, ‘Gracious Will’, deals true damage to a single target equal to 100% of their MAX HP. It also removes all beneficial effects and disables Starfire, Trooper, and Labyrinth Talismans before dealing damage to the target. Additionally it removes all negative effects from each ally and grants 1 stack of HP Regen for 2 turns for each effect removed.

Players who make it to Grade A and above will also be awarded Final Frontier Eddie Fragments!

Final Frontier Eddie Fragments can be collected over several Gauntlet seasons. Once you have 1,000 Fragments, you will earn a Guaranteed Final Frontier Eddie.

Final Frontier Eddie is a 5★ Sentinel that is only available by collecting Fragments in the Gauntlet.

He looks amazing, and also a little OP. If I´m not wrong until now only Awakened Chars were able to disable talisman but well let's see him in action first!

.. another character requiring a month or more to acquire.. at which time, he'll be outdated.... Congrats to #1 in the gauntlet this round for getting him early and actually being able to use him before he's outdated! It's nice they make character which only 1 or 2 players will actually find useful..... Everyone else will have to spend as much as they can to ensure they can actually make use of any skills he may have in the small window before he's relegated to obscurity... like FFE... Like Mariner... Like Wrathchild... Like Mercenary... . even like Moonchild now.... And that's only IF he's actually usable -- Mariner was and is a joke.. were it not for being the ONLY anti-LAD character right now. Power creep is so extreme that you've got a week... MAYBE a two.. that's it.

Hey, Mariner might not have been top tier meta, but he did (and still does) me a very good service in the arena around the top 1000 mark.

what Yup wants to say is: if a toon needs 4 weeks or longer to get, then it should be a very useful and powerful toon and not a lame one as all the toons we collected since this game was released.
95% of all toons are complete useless.

Mariner was a complete joke until he got a rebuff MONTHS after initial release. He's still a joke and only used to counter LAD's fury.. otherwise NO ONE would be using him. Be honest.. if it were not for the counter-LAD aspect of Mariner.. would you EVER be using him in PvP? Of course not.. there are least a dozen other characters better suited for PvP support.

Pilgrim could be a complete dud... like The Mariner.... Like Ragnar.... Like the Mercenary... there's really NO WAY to know.

Agreed. And even with a LAD-team I beat an average Mariner-team. He's totally underwhelming, always was.

I'd beat an average Mariner-team. Probably not some min-maxed top 5 arena team. Then again, Bakura's current Mariner defense team isn't impressive and he's number 1.

My point is: Mariner wasn't, isn't and probably won't ever be that impressive.

I used him before Live After Death Ed was around. He made the Orbits more consistent after their debuff, cleared most silvers and dealt with pesky 1 turn buffs, especially from Alchemy sets earlier on. He's won me battles when he was the last man standing.

Will we see the day that this old "habit" finally vanished from gauntlet? I get it, those teams are not so tough as they use to be and its the first week of a new char presentation... but maybe some variation may be appreciated?...

I love Gauntlet, but in only FOUR games I have to face: 3 Moonchildren, 2 Dark Moonlight Liliths, 2 Cyborgs, 2 Wratchildren...

Ye I get it is SS and those are GK welcome party, even some of those chars are not maxed. Those are not impossible teams at all. That's not a problem, facing the same characters over and over again, one just after the other it´s just ridiculous xD

Can´t wait to see SSS with only Odins and GRE all the way long xD
