NF should fix the autorun start at Raid battles.

Who agrees they should change the battle in Raids to always manual, instead of start in autoplay after you played other normal battles in auto, as arena/gauntlet are?
I'd lost a lot of battle just because the battle autostarts in raid and I cannot use my initial strategies.

Or you could just stop at the end of the previous auto-run battle you made, when odin is at his lowest hp just finish it in manual, the next battle will start in manual

You don't necessarily have to quit the game, my strategy is to enter the "Lord of the Flies" and simply turn the "auto" off there. It's a very quick battle (definitely faster than reloading the game) and it allows me to enter Odin without any issues whatsoever.
I agree with the OP though, we shouldn't be forced to use a workaround, native manual play would be a great QoL improvement.

At least it is a simply thing to prevent, but inconvenient. It's better than being froze out or loss of blood from souls

Battles should default to manual every time you exit one area of the game to enter another. I also find it sticking to auto when entering another part of the game quite annoying. It's not a huge deal, but annoying nonetheless.

The game already does this in arena (which I'm way more likely to run on auto) and gauntlet. I can't think of a good reason why this wasn't brought over to raids

You can, but it ALWAYS gets in one attack. If you're lucky and the toon that attacks first does the move you want, then it's no real problem.

If not, you could have thrown your entire strategy away.

The usual case is an Ed goes first, and that means a 1/6 chance of doing what you want, maybe higher if the Ed has multiple ways to do what you want (eg: if you're just building up fury, and more than one power attack gives an extra turn).

Then you've gotta include all your toons who "sometimes" go first instead, so that adds another 6 optiosn into the mix. If you're relying on a specific move, then it's probably 1/12 unless the other toons are restricted somehow (eg: Blights removing power move from that toon).

Raids should always start on Manual IMO.

It is not a good solution. It needs constant attention for longer battles.

Restart application before battle with Odin.
Auto-play variable saved in RAM and always set to "off" when application starts.

They used the same variable for campaign locations and Odin battle. So instead of restart you can start any campaign location and turn off Auto-play

Restarting the app takes ages! xD I also just enter any point of the map for disabling the auto-play and immediately go out (defeat) It should be like that...

Please Raids in Manual mode from the start.

Quit making excuses for them seriously. This is a very simple QoL change being requested and should be added.

Do you actually want it the way it is...so that you either waste SoT and time to enter a dungeon and turn it off or have to log out and back in that resets the Ram save along with all other things it saves, or for once, NF could fix/add something that 99.9% of the playerbase has been asking for now to be resolved for months.

It's only the ways how players can always start battle with Odin in manual mode. And this is not excludes that Raid Boss auto-play must be fixed.
Or you like to wait update and always start battle in random mode?

I guess this is a very simple thing to fix, just use the same programation at battle start they use in gauntlet/arena. I know there's a way to stop autorun, like close and open again the game, or go to another map and stop the autoplay, but its incovenient, sometimes you don't have much time to play and you forgot doing this things.

It sounds like a simple and easy fix but let's remember that this is the same app team that needs extensive work and testing whenever they bump up the upper limit of anything.

The output being simple doesn't mean the input is as quick and easy as some copy and pasting of code from another part of the game.

For now to prevent this for free, go to arena -> defense -> test defense -> throw a random eddie just to start a test battle -> as soon as battle loads quit the battle. There you have your autoplay off.

It was, at the time, on their itinerary somewhere (or so I was told). Dunno the priority level...

I asked them on FB like a year or 2 for a different matter. I was told it was not possible as it would require changing codes and stuff.
In other words, we gotta remember to always turn off that AUTO-PLAY or restart the game.
