Sacrifice for rare rewards!

From now until May 31st at 5PM PT, earn bonuses from each tier of Sacrifice, in addition to normal sacrifice rewards:


Tier I sacrifices have a bonus of 2 Phoenix Fragments
Tier II sacrifices have a bonus of 6 Phoenix Fragments
Tier III sacrifices have a bonus of 20 Phoenix Fragments
Tier IV sacrifices have a bonus of 60 Phoenix Fragments
Tier V sacrifices have a bonus of 150 Phoenix Fragments
Tier VI sacrifices have a bonus of 250 Phoenix Fragments
Tier VII sacrifices have a bonus of 500 Phoenix Fragments
Vortexes have a bonus of 750 Phoenix Fragments


Trade Phoenix Fragments for Rewards!
Phoenix Fragments can be traded for a variety of rewards including Cosmic Icarus Talismans, Greek Awakening Shards, and Forged Fragments!

New Cosmic Icarus Talismans can be equipped to Icarus, Daedalus, Flight of Icarus Eddie and Fallen Icarus Eddie! They will increase all stats in battle, reduce incoming damage, increase damage dealt to enemies and will disable the passives of up to 3 enemies for 1 turn. This Talisman will also allow you to avoid taking damage for 1 turn, and will revive a random ally every time you take damage the first time you reach 1 HP in Battle.

Since Phoenix Fragments are meant to be spent in store they will ‘loop’ if you claim a Phoenix Soul (if claimed, a Phoenix Soul will simply produce 500 Phoenix Fragments, and 1 1* Gold Idol, thus returning the fragments used to create it, and the Gold spent to summon it). If you do not wish to spend these Fragments in store, you can always convert them into Precious Soul Fragments.



Complete Challenges to earn a variety of rewards including various Seventh Son Eddie Fragments, Labyrinth Key Souls, and Forged Soul Fragments.

Forged Fragments are the event currency of the Forge of Destiny Mega Event.

Trade your Forged Fragments in the Mega Store for rare rewards including Freya Cosmic Talismans and Odin himself!

Did you know you can double or even triple your rewards for a sacrifice? Doing a sacrifice with a higher amount of essence than the minimum required gives you a chance of getting double rewards based on how much you’ve exceeded the essence requirement.

Nearly two months between this and the last sacrifice event.

I really hope you are moving towards a standard time of the month for these things or at the very least address our concerns about the Book of Souls Inventory constantly being pushed to the limits with all of these new souls and key types.

So I've only just been able to get into the game (just as I was writing a msg saying I couldn't get in).

Spinning "Connection Error" logos wherever I go at the moment. Really slow.

And no sooner than me posting this, but I went into the Store and the game ground to a halt with the spinning Eddie Skull logo.

I did 3 1/2 vortex fills, and went through hundreds of souls and didn't pull anything new. I'm disappointed by that, but on the other hand I'm trying to decide between buying 2 tier2 dedicated cosmic talismans, or 4 tier1. I have enough characters for all 4 if I do that. What would you do?

I hate to brag, but I pulled two five stars from rare souls (or their equivalents) and one of them was Wasteland Eddie. As an Australian I am overjoyed.

What happened to sacrifice events? This is not a sacrifice event, this is a fragment event to get a special cosmic and be done with it

Where is the catch to keep sacrificing until you run out of gold or souls? so poor event and so much time waiting

While not the most exciting sacrifice event, I'm pleasantly surprised how many different characters can wear the Icarus cosmic. If I've done my numbers right, the T3 will cost you between 2-3 full vortex's worth of essence. So hitting the 300,000 stretch goal will ensure you can afford one.

FWIW: I decided to video the sac event again (was bored). Also didn't really edit it much (it's over 11mins, so take that with a pinch of salt).

First off the bat was 10x VHE's, fully skill-sharded.

Next was 1x Aces High and 9x Bass Eddies, also fully skill-sharded.

That took care of the event (and then some) and the rest is just me clearing space and grabbing extra frags. I did a lot more sac'ing than was in the video FYI, but like anyone is gonna watch the whole of this video, let alone all the extra crap I did after that, unless they wanna count all the drops for stats reasons.
