Lastly, we are running another survey for Late May events. Please take the time, if you can, and fill this out. It will help us improve the events through your feedback!

Submitted my response. Feel free to ignore it like everything else.

Highlights:
Sacrifice event, nearly two months between this one and the last one. Monthly events should have about a month between them. Sacrifice especially while the keys take up space in the Book of Souls

No more time sensitive events while we still have the 10 second timer. We are losing multiple runs per key.

Finally, stop pushing out new content that is always broken. Instead take some time out and fix the ever growing pile of bugs. That way when a new bug is introduced, it doesn't get added to the bottom of a growing pile and we have to wait months(and in some bug's case years) for it to be fixed.

Add some more toons to the FC store. Seems long overdue.

How about a sale on some of the toons in the fc store as well?

Thanks for asking the community for feedback. The next step is giving the community the feeling they are heard, because right now it feels like a lot of our feedback falls on deaf ears.

Also, I have some feedback on the survey itself.
On every page you ask "How much did you participate in the event?". Sometimes none of these choices seem good. Take the evolution event for example: I don't play several times a day just for this evolution event, but I do play several times a day for things like arena, gauntlet and just general farming. How would you want me to answer that question then? I don't want to give the wrong impression here.

Then there's "What did you think about the rewards for the event?". This question again isn't a good question for a survey, let me explain why. I can think the rewards are amazing, but the price tag on them is way to high. Do I then think the rewards are good or bad? Or something that requires a bit more nuance?

My point about the survey is: the questions you're asking us are too black and white. If you want to get a good impression on how the player base feels about events in order to improve them, you definitely won't have enough information with just these three questions.
Instead of "What did you think about the rewards for the event?", you could ask players instead to give their opinion on a couple of separate statements (asking them to weigh in on a scale of "Strongly Disagree" to "Strongly Agree").
For example:

I enjoy these rewards.
These rewards are helpful for me to progress in the game.
I would like to see a similar reward structure in a future event.

Skip battle button... just display the outcome.... After all on auto-play it's all AI vs AI anyway.

Look at Idle Heroes to see how it just skips the battle if desired and then shows victory or defeat based on how the AI fights itself with your chosen team.

To calculate it all at once would require bigger server capabilities, and we all know how that goes.

So Osiris and Number of the beast Eddie will be awakenable? The compendium tells so.

You could add the survey as an extra entry point for those giveaways.... just saying.

Agree with some comments above. Also, it didnīt feel right answering about rewards. I mean, sometimes the rewards are ridiculous but the event giving you frags with the option to buy another useful stuff its good. Those are not properly counted as rewards as you have to extra-do the event to have something interesting. So I had to clarify later. With such a concise survey you could end up with misleading information regarding the ambiguity of rewards.

Talking about the giveaway, I like this until now a little shy, the idea of giving merch. I am particularly more comfortable with the idea of supporting something through merchandising (or something real) than spending 100 pounds in a talisman that isnīt working. Have you seen the "Mystery Minis" from funko as well?

Finally, can we have a word from you regarding the multiple bugs and their current state or development? I even donīt know where to start...

You don't need another survey, because the feedback section in this forum is full of useful comments to improve this beta game.

Yes. Just skip the whole battle. spend the SOT to start.. then get a "victory" screen with rewards.. or "defeat" screen.

To be fair though, I think the server is only tapped on start/victory/defeat - during battles, the server isn't really hit at all. So I don't know how much it'd do to relieve server stress.

Idle Heroes is a vastly different app but still sort of the same type of play. Set up a team.. battle.. etc. There's a "skip battle" checkbox before each battle. So basically you don't wait the 3-4 minutes of the auto battle to run, you just jump to results.

I only know about Idle Heroes because I've been searching for something similar to this app that doesn't charge ridiculously high prices like $99 for basic resource items or $200 for a new character, and doesn't make events seem like a 40 hr work week..... Idle Heroes unfortunately isn't a replacement... at least for me.

Soul chance events are not engaging. Event souls (trailblazer etc..) are luck based and are not worth the effort. maybe if we could collect fragments to get the soul, and the souls would have a better pool (either less 3*, only eddies souls, only archetype souls:an event fragment soul that guarantees either or only shinobis, dogs, egyptian, female, night city, underworld, LOL characters..... only mixed class souls: Event souls that guarantee either the promotional eddie or a 4 star Gunner or magus, something like that because the pool is too large now.) then it may be actually motivating to complete.

If you want to skip the time in doing battles and only auto complete you should say only recieve half the rewards at most. Better would be you get the win and no rewards. Putting time in grinding is part of the game.

How many mobile games have auto complete with full rewards?

One thing I brought up in the suggestion thread for the auto complete is that real world time helps cap what players receive and helps delay power creep.

Sure NF would love a system that allows for someone to drop hundreds of bucks and in a few minutes of clicking have everything. As player's though, that would not be fun.

Plus at that point we are removing yet another component of playong the game.

There's also the fact that are plenty of bugs already that should be fixed before we introduce completely new functionality that with this dev and testing team we know will be massively broken.

Let's be real. Skip battle is never going to work. The game takes several seconds to calculate all the various buffs before any character acts. Skipping and calculating the whole thing in every wave accounting for extra turns and multiple rounds in each wave is too much.

If you do auto complete and it doesnt give rewards except the win that would take care of that issue.. I dont not want the auto complete feature.

I guess it would reduce the stress by at least half (eliminate the connection at the start of each battle).

Looked it up Idle Hereos and it doesn't seem interesting, but good on them if they have a skip feature. Plenty of other games have that feature though
