From now until June 6, 5 PM PT, battle in a dungeon that comes with 4 difficulty settings and is packed with awesome rewards!

The first time you complete Normal, Hard or Madness, you will earn set rewards including Frontier Coins and Sacrificial Talismans, and your first Insanity run will grant T3 Cosmic Evo Runes and Talisman Epic Soul Fragments. All subsequent victories are guaranteed to provide Immortal Soul Fragments, and Dungeon Fragments, as well as a chance of up to 2 bonus rewards, including Impulse Talismans.

This event features 2 different types of Soul Fragments, both which provide different paths to receiving Eddies!

Ageless Soul Fragments

Ageless Soul Fragments are earned by completing Event Challenges. Players are able to earn up to 1000 Ageless Soul Fragments, and can spend them on the Eddie of their choice in the Event Store. The available 5★ Eddie’s cost 600 Ageless Fragments, and 4★ Eddies cost 400 Ageless Fragments.

Immortal Soul Fragments

Immortal Soul Fragments are guaranteed drops in the Immortal Era dungeon. These Soul Fragments can be traded in the Event Store for 3 versions of the Immortal Soul. Depending on the Soul you purchase you will receive a guaranteed 3★, 4★ or 5★ Eddie.

The following Eddies are available in each soul. When summoned these Souls guarantee an equal chance of each Eddie.

Since both Ageless and Immortal Fragments are meant to be spent in store and will ‘loop’ if you claim an Ageless or Immortal Soul (if claimed, these Souls simply produce the same amount of Fragments used to create them, and 1 1★ Gold Idol).



The Immortal Era event features both solo and Clan event challenges which will grant various other rewards including Forged Soul Fragments and Power Talismans.

Forged Fragments are the event currency of the Forge of Destiny Mega Event.

Trade your Forged Fragments in the Mega Store for rare rewards including Freya Cosmic Talismans and Odin himself!

Dungeon Fragment Details:

Dungeon Fragments will drop in event Dungeons. Use Dungeon Fragments to purchase items found within the Event Store Tab. You can continue collecting and building your stockpiles of Dungeon Fragments with each Dungeon event.

Please note that the items available for Dungeon Fragments disappear between dungeon events. They will reappear again with the same items available the next time a dungeon event is held.

Since these Fragments are meant to be spent in store, they cannot be converted to Precious Soul Fragments and will ‘loop’ if you claim a Dungeon Soul (if claimed, a Dungeon Soul will simply produce 1000 Dungeon Fragments, and 1 1★ Gold Idol, thus returning the fragments used to create it, and the Gold spent to summon it).

Notes on Clan Event Challenges:

Players can join a Clan part way through an event in order to obtain these extra Event Challenges.

If you are removed from your Clan, or choose to Leave a Clan during the event, you will no longer be able to participate in the Clan Event Challenges. After the 24 hour cooldown you can then join a different Clan. This will give you access to any active Clan Event Challenges, and any Clan Group Challenges will be updated to the current total for your new Clan. If the Clan has already completed and claimed a Clan Group Challenge, the new member will not be able to claim that reward. Players will not gain double rewards by Clan hopping.

General thoughts: I like how each dungeon is a different theme, drawing from various settings from the game. It's a nice "Greatest Hits" sort of thing. I also like how we get to pick two of the eddies from the store, that's most welcome! Also nice to see some rare Eddies in the 4* soul, looks much more exciting than the 5* one.

Update 5: Let's talk numbers. The challenges, dungeon drops, and event store prices have been designed to reward two different levels of participation.
A minimum of 300 Hard runs, without doing any of the class-challenges, will give enough enough Ageless Frags to choose a 4* Eddie, and enough Immortal Frags for a 3* Immortal Soul. Nothing fancy, and will cost no more than 500 ironite thanks to challenge rewards. Even less if you complete the Clan challenges.
Reaching 400 runs will give you enough Ageless Frags to purchase a 4* OR 5* Eddie. To purchase both, you'll need to complete 666 runs and the class-challenges.
For those completing all the challenges, finishing your 666 runs on Insanity will earn you enough event Frags for both a 4* and 5* Eddie of your choice, and a 4* Immortal Soul to try your luck. This will likely cost around 1,300 ironite, which isn't a bad deal for three guaranteed Eddies, and a set of Sacrificial and Power talismans. Madness will cost roughly the same, and you'll need to do 750-800 runs instead.
If you want a shot at the 5* Immortal Soul, just double the required runs for the 4* version. Although if you have resources burning a hole in your pocket, you might be better served buying a second 4* soul.

Update 4: Insanity. Nasty, and broken. Enemy placement in waves 1, 3, & 5 is bugged, with an empty spot being shown in the 2nd place, and one of the characters starting off invisible, standing in the middle of the battlefield. They will likely take you by surprise as they counter attack out of nowhere. I've not been able to see Angel Ed's talismans yet, or even been able to confirm if he's actually in the fight at all. There is a lot going on in here, plenty of reflected damage and counter attacks. Haven't yet worked out a team that can handle everything at once. Best of luck!

I agree that the choices are interesting. Samurai Emperor, Mystic Flame, but no Pharaoh Ramesses.
Either way, it's a nice event for players that are missing some of these Eddies.

Can't get past the fourth wave on normal without Doomsday taking out one of my toons whether I'm using warrior only or random mix.
I usually have no problems with these dungeons until at least the madness level.
What am I missing here?

Thanks! That seemed to have done the trick for about 10 runs then instead of losing one toon I lost the entire team!
Not sure I'm going to have any success leaving this on auto-run for any length of time regardless of difficulty level or class challenge.

Unfortunately I don't have that toon.
Seems to be running better now with a combo of Ragnarok and Celestial talisman.
At least on the normal level. Hopefully that will be the secret for the next couple of levels as well.

although there are some really great drops there is a chance for some pretty common ones too (you can end up spending 3000 ironite for a phantom eddie)
you can get pay only eddies which is pretty awesome but then you realize it will be cheaper just to buy them for real money.
the only soul some one might get without going on a crazy ironite spending spree is the 3* which features 3 eddies that drop from common soul
once again an event is ruined because prizes are to expensive, if immortal souls were cheaper it could have worked, if immortal souls featured only eddies that don't drop from regular souls it could have worked.
this event could truly be amazing but as usual devs managed to destroy it completely with their incompetence.

Yeah ^^ I’m of the same opinion. Read the description only and thought “Yay football Eds!” Then I did some quick math, and the chance for them doesn’t seem worth the effort.

Oh well. I’m pretty happy with my Insanity team, for those of you who bought Assassin Odin. Maybe there’s faster, but my rate of ironite consumption is just fine thank you.

Your numbers are bit off sorry, it'll only cost 3,000 ironite if you're farming on Hard. If you're farming on either Madness or Insanity, you're looking at ~2,000 ironite for the 4* Immortal soul. You'll also reach the 666 run challenge along the way. If you have complete the class-specific challenges too, you'll end up with enough Ageless Frags to also buy a 4* and a 5* Eddie. While I would have liked the Immortal Souls to have been significantly cheaper (5x at least), it's 2,000 ironite for a 5* Eddie and two 4* Eddies. For those who don't already have all the Eddies, that's not a bad deal.

At the very least, if a player is unable to farm Madness or Insanity, reaching 300 runs will give them the 400 Ageless frags needed to buy one of the 4* Eddies, for no more than 600 ironite, and a 3* Immortal Soul if they were farming on Hard. While that's not an awful deal (not a great either though), it's never fun to miss out on things, especially when it's a chance at some of those rare 4* eddies.

If you had done any actual testing of mega fill runs and collected some actual data as well as using actual math, you would have easily come to a more accurate and vastly less expensive numbers and avoided spreading ridiculous misinformation.

Through actual data testing runs, we have fairly easily determined that with reward and dungeon returns of ironite and SoT at the "Insanity" run level, that 1 Insanity run costs approx 2 ironite and 1 insanity run earns approx average of 15 Immortal frags. So to earn a 4* soul will take 500 Insanity runs and cost about 1000 ironite to do those 500 runs.

This is vastly cheaper than your claim of 3000 ironite to earn a 4* soul.

Furthermore, that is based purely on running the dungeon for Immortal Frags to ironite cost and does not account for other things one might earn doing this such as Dungeon Frags, FC, Gold etc.

It would be nice if these quick guesses made often on the forums would be based on some actual evidence instead of super exaggerated incomplete math analysis.

It is still a very expensive way to earn a random shot at a Football Ed etc., which still has a huge chance of being a 4* Phantom Ed and even with my enlightened numbers, I do not recommend it as a means to chase toons and yes, NF seems to load their bowls right before deciding how to further Jones on its player base...but what else can we expect from this greedy brain dead joke of a company...

After almost 300 runs on insanity level, I can say that ironite return is about 30%, and that is not including any achievements or other ironite sources. So while not as cheap as I'd like it's still pretty good and it will take less than 1000 ironite to get the 4* soul. Still very expensive for a possible Carriage Rider Eddie but I'll take my chances.

Nice event to newer players grab some eddies, but I not sure if I will spent ironite to gambling with 4* immortal soul. 1k for Guy Fawkes, Lone Star or Football Eddie it is an awnsome deal, but a lame waste of resourse and time for a Phantom.

I guess I'm just run insanity to acomplish clan challanges for now

I agree, good event if you need some of the Eds... otherwise it's kind of an unexciting event. There are no rewards for longer term players other than the clan achievements. So I'll burn ironite on "Normal" just to rack up run counts since the frags are overall not needed here.

I'm running normal. I can do the runs cheaper than the other levels. I'm not placing hope on the gamble. I want Van Gelding, so this will accomplish that. Plus, I won't burn too much ironite

a.werewolf, Samurai ed: viper, g.minotaur, and a. heirophant; only ed had talis equipped and the others were lvl1 with the heirophant being a 4* still

I've been running Gambler, Mercenary, Ferryman and Moonie. Gambler pretty much kills everyone. Do no one else really gets too many turns. As for Apocalypse killing upon his first death. Gambler has a still that allows himself to be drained and then climb again, before dying. So no need for celestials.

Not GRE, but I had a couple of freezes with Max Cyborg on the one of the stages (Magus Werewolf maybe). Only happened when I had The Prisoner, and while I was only watching once when it happened, it looked like the Valhalla's revive effect happened before Cyborg's Fury animation had even begun. I've swapped Prisoner out for Charlotte-Orbits, and haven't had any trouble since.

The store should be opened during dungeon events, that is what the description says... but can't see orbits or anything.

Go to Store>More>Rewards, it should be there.
